I get all my major appliances at best buy. It's a shame you can't speak to a live person at your local store! No option in the automated system. No even a list of departments to connect to. VERY FRUSTRATING! GREAT WAY TO ALIENATE CUSTOMERS. Lowes will answer the phone.

This store has lots of employees, all of them talking to one another. When someone finally asks if I would like help, he/she is totally disinterested. It's been this way every time I've visited.

I took my HP laptop in to get a new power cord. I wanted to plug the one the salesman recommended. He said I had to purchase it first. The cord was $40.00. I didn't think this was good customer service. I went home and ordered the power cord and a new battery from Amazon for $50.00. Loss of a sale Best Buy.

On June 10, 2019 I purchased a "new" Apple iMac at the Springfield Ohio Best Buy (store #790). Salesperson was professional, personable and very knowledgeable. The iMac purchased was to replace a 12 year old iMac that has served me very well but had reached the end of its service life. I chose to purchase the recommended model and it has, for the most part, proven to be a satisfactory decision. However, yesterday I experience a problem (created by me and not the computer) that required that I take it in for some very minor service. I decided to use an authorized Apple service provided other than bother with returning to my point of purchase. While very quickly diagnosing and correcting my problem the tech ask me to confirm that I had actually only purchased the iMac less then two months ago. When I provided my original sales receipt I ask him why he would ask and he showed me on the screen that my "new" iMac was actually two model years old. Seems that the salesperson had failed to inform me that, while the iMac was new (as opposed to used) it wasn't actually the "newest" model available. And, while I thought I had received a good deal I further discovered that I could have actually purchase a newer iMac elsewhere for at least $100 less then I had paid. While I accept full responsibility for my purchasing decision (and would have most likely still made the purchase had I been informed it was a 2017 model) I am very disappointed that I wasn't provided full disclosure on both the age of the iMac and given no price concession due to the fact that it was, what I and many other might consider, a closeout. If you purchase a "new" car that has been replaced by a "newer" model you can expect to receive a discount on the price as well as having paperwork that would clearly prevent any confusion or doubt about the actual age/year of the model being purchased. I will assure you that this purchase will serve as a reminder to me to shop elsewhere when looking for items carried at others stores and avoid Best Buy. I purchase new, not refurbished, not used or a return, clearance, open box or anything that would have indicated or made me question or believe that I wasn't getting the newest product at the best possible price. Totally disappointed and I cannot image a return visit to any Best Buy.

as a best buy silver elite credit card holder, i was shocked to learn that they had automatically deactivated my credit card BEFORE issuing me a new replacement card prior to the march 2019 expiration date. more than inconvenient as my wife's birthday, valentine's day, and our wedding anniversary converge in the span of two weeks. needless to say, i had to purchase her presents using my TARGET RED CARD (where i also able to use my cash back percentage points and a 5% automatic discount) to save a significant amount of money. i even spoke to customer service representatives and all they could offer was "we seem to be experiencing the same issue with other customers." i called again on two separate occasions, only to hold for more than fifteen minutes each time; i still have not received my new credit card. needless to say, as soon as i use up my BEST BUY REWARDS i will close that account/credit card.

I am very sorry to say that I cannot recommend Quakertown Best Buy. Wanted to get a tablet for my grandson gave me bad information returned it explained the situation to them put me in touch with their high tech Guru who gave me bad information. After trying to contact them via the telephone to discuss this on hold 18 minutes disconnected second time on hold 16 minutes before I got frustrated and hung up. Will never shop at this store again.

I purchased a Best Buy gift card for my Mother to purchase a new cell phone. We went to our local Best Buy at 4413 Birkland Place, Easton, PA 18045 and were taken care of by Patrick. Everything went well with our selection and purchase until we tried to pay for the cell phone with the gift card. We were informed by Patrick that we could not purchase a cell phone with a gift card. I checked the gift card and there were no such restrictions listed. I do find it hard to believe Best Buy would place such restrictions on their gift cards, but Patrick checked with a supervisor who said the same. I was going to make the purchase with my debit card and then decided not to spend my money at Best Buy. We left and purchased the same phone at WalMart. Unfortunately I now have a Best Buy gift card that I really don't want.

I tryed to buy a Mac air in the store and strangely they dont accept international credit cards, I was receiveing a weird message of "amount above pin limit" and people from the store was useless and didnt have a clue of how to help. I them move to the website and purchase from my cell phone inside of the store using the same credit card. All of this to say that we might not need physical stores anymore.

Had problem with my Kindle which I had purchased at Best Buy. Couldn't get it to do nothing without tapping on it 3 times. Could not read or download any books that I wanted to purchase. Stopped at Best Buy, after talking to a attendant he took it to the mysterious back room to an expert. He came back in several minutes and claimed the touch screen was wore out and the only solution was to replace the Kindle. Not satisfied I returned home and touched the "help" button. A guy popped up on the screen and asked what was the problem. I explained and he said just a minute. He was back in 20 seconds and said problem solved, he was right!!!! Give it a try, Works perfect. "Best Buy rip off"

Best buy is a worse place to shop for elelectronics. I saw an item at a price, I returned the next day to purchase and all I realized was the price had gone up. I waited the next day and it doubled up.They kept adding$ 20 everyday. I would advise you check prices days before purchasing and you know what i am talking about. It's so annoying.
