“Went to local ( North Olmsted, OH ) Best Buy and bought an item I found on their website. I couldn't find it and when I asked for help, the person in that dept. was not available. Another associate told me they were kept in a separate area. That's why I couldn't find it. I realize it was not real expensive but I felt I was treated as unimportant. Will have to find another store to shop at.”
“I had a refrigerator delivered last Friday. Upon delivering the appliance, they made two dents. The functions of the fridge were never explained. And the 24 hour survey was never sent.”
“A large, expensive xbox accessory was left at our front door in the original package. Our child found it. In the future I would hope any expensive items could be delivered in a brown discreet box. As it is, it was not taken by someone but our child now knows what they got for christmas.”
“Customers treated unfairly. I bought a printer and they told me five or six days out and a person behind me bought one and because she is a Geek Squad member they said oh you get yours quicker because you are a member. This person has her printer and I've not even received an email notification for shipping yet. This is an unfair practice and it's telling you a message if you don't have the extra money to sign up for Geek Squad, you are not treated equally as a customer. Not Good! What they should have said is you are my customer and I'll get that printer to you right away and I was with the other person so I know this took place.”
“Love Best Buy when everything runs smoothly. Review reflects their bad customer service. While writing this review, I've been on hold with a customer service rep for 69 minutes since he first picked up my call! All he was doing was checking on the status of a payment. I got so frustrated I've canceled my order (microwave) through Best Buy and purchased through a different vendor. You lost my business because of bad customer service!”
“Went to Best Buy after my 15 yr old windows 7 died and told them I was 76 and only needed basic services but would like to upgrade to a better desktop. They show me two all-in -one Lenovo computers $639 and $679 and I asked repeatedly do you have anything less but the said "NO" turns out they did have one on their website for$529. They claimed it was not in store but would have to shipped to my house. They sold me a $200 year policy that included transfer of my hard drive info to the new computer but later told me they didn't have the ability to do that there(this the Geek Squad) but would have to send it out adding costs not in the $200 because my computer was too old which they new when they started this offer. I found that they were not totally upfront with a senior person who had little tach ability. The only thing that went ok was the time Zachary spent with the use and set time of the computer I bought because driving from Eastham to Hyannis was getting crazy to do over again with a new computer at a new company.”
“Absolutely horrible after sales service. I would not buy again at Best Buy no matter the price. The sales associate was great until she took our payment. After that she was MIA. Delivery service and Geek Squad service is deplorable. My husband has been waiting 4 hours on the phone with no response.”
