Where do I start...
I ordered over £2,000 worth of goods from Better Bathrooms and received less than half of them.
I have been constantly fobbed off and told that the remainder of my order was on its way.
Stuck with half a bathroom and no chance of getting the rest of my order as they have now gone into administration I took to the internet to try and source what was missing.
To my surprise the company (Hudson Reed) that supplies Better Bathrooms with branded and non branded products also owns Better Bathrooms.
After several calls to Hudson Reed I have managed to get the remainder of my goods.
I suggest anyone in the same situation do the same and give them a call

“If anyone had online order outstanding then Better bathrooms used PayPal for their online transactions. If you call PayPal they can dispute this and refund you to the card you payed on.”
“I had an order cancelled beginning of February for £216 and was told I would get a full refund, just found out when chasing up my refund that they have gone bust. People like this need locking up, taking money from customers knowing full well they won't get what they have ordered! I feel genuinely sorry for people with much bigger orders than mine.”

“My order is very small as it is a faulty part, but I ordered on 19th December and was told 4 - 6 weeks, and the money was taken out of my account on that day. after 6 weeks I tried to contact them, the recorded message said that the item was still on route but when I tried to get through to customer service I was in queue place excess 30. I eventually contacted them via online message and got a reply saying it would come on 28th February. Ha ha ha should have said 29th Feb as obviously not going to come now. Very frustrated and disapointed. Was pleased with the company 5 years ago when we got out full bathroom from them.”
“Since Better Bathrooms have gone into liquidation,my daughter has lost half her order. Has anyone got any of the Nottingham matt white bathroom furniture they want to sell? (It's the shaker style). We need the 300 base unit, the sink that fits on top of the vanity unit (rectangular shaped) and the tall boy unit. Or does anyone know any other stockists that we can buy it from?”
“I, like many others, have found myself with no goods and them owing me £520. I paid for my order in January via credit card and have now spoken to them who advise me they will be able to pay me back due to non delivery of order. I also bought something else via my debit card which did arrive but was faulty and the credit card company told me to contact the bank as they should be able to help. Hope everyone gets sorted. “Went into the York store on Monday 26th of Feb orderd over £800 of goods was told I would receive an e-mail regarding delivery, this arrived on the Thursday and delivery arranged for Saturday, tried to contact them on Saturday no reply , went to store all locked up ,I cannot believe that they did not know that they were on the verge of going into administration,now awaiting for Frpadvisory to contact me, don't know where I stand , I have contacted my bank to see if they can help.”
“I have goods ordered to value of over £1600.00. only just added to my order last Monday. The staff in York have always been helpful and polite. I placed my original order in January but wasn't in a big rush as the builders couldn't start work until mid March. I was however reassured they were just waiting for one item and it could then be delivered at a time to suit me.
I am so annoyed now looking at reviews and other information which looks like they have been struggling for over 12 months. It's criminal that they are allowed to take money for goods they do not have or can't deliver. Cross, cross, cross!!!!!! So much for their customer charter, not worth the paper it's written on.”
“Should be a choice of no stars. Took £575 from me on the Wednesday afternoon with a delivery given of the Saturday. Although the website said the item was out of stock they said they had ones in the warehouse which the customers didn’t need TIL July so they would have stock in April to replace. They went into administration on the Friday. Total fraud. I am so angry with myself not to have done my usual research before committing. Even more upset at missing out on the steam cabinet than losing the money.”
“Only put 1 star as it wouldn't let me put minus stars!! Awful company full of rude staff who take your money for stock they don't have. When i suggested it was fraud the woman in Customer services disagreed. They lie about delivery dates, don't ring back and pass the buck.
Wish I had read reviews first.

“This company has gone bust. Just climbed through the gate at Romford showroom as we have £800 sunk into this outfit.
Confronted a smartly dressed woman who appeared to be HR and she said “I can’t talk to you as we’re about to talk to the staff” I persisted and eventually she whispered “yes, we’ve gone into administration, we will write to all customers as soon as possible” we’ve been onto the bank as we paid with visa...they said they can help as soon as it’s officially logged at companies house as bust.

“I ordered £527 worth of goods with them around two weeks ago and I wish I had read these reviews beforehand. The website said that the goods were in stock and would be on 3-5 day delivery. This was a lie, when I phoned them and was in a queue for 1.5 hours, they then told me it would be another 3 weeks before delivery. This was yesterday.
Today it looks like they’re in administration. The phone lines are closed, stores are closed and it appears that I won’t be getting my goods nor a refund! Criminals and pure robbery. How do they get away with it?
They shouldn’t have taken my money until goods were released. Absolute b*****ds!!”
“** Beware** This company will take your order and your money but will not give you your goods or a refund. Ordered a shower cubicle a over month ago which was not delivered. After queuing for an hour to speak to them was told it would take 2 months. Cancelled the order immediately and have received repeated promises of a refund which has not appeared over 3 weeks later.”
“It seems that the company has gone into liquidation. Don't quote me on it, but the store in Birmingham bad its gate closed at 5pm and people were inside, even though their website says 8pm is the closing time.
Also their customer services telephone line seems closed and the store in Birmingham isn't picking up.
If you have paid on your credit/debit card, contact your banks ASAP with a view to a chargeback.
Recently, they've asked people to pay via PayPal. Anyone who knows PayPal will know your rights are less using PayPal than a bank, as they simply act as an agent.
If anyone has any other info, please do let the rest of us know.

“All the one star reviews are correct. Ordered toilet suite in Nov 2018, on delivery contents were checked and appeared OK. When plumber came to fit, one of the small plastic seat fittings was half-formed, making it impossible to fit the seat to the pan.
Pointless phoning, was number 30 in the queue. Went through the website, got an automated response from the "Zendesk" system saying that my case number was 'quoted below' - but there was no visible case number. 3 further mails later, and there is absolute silence from this company.”
