DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I ordered for a Right Hand toilet basin, a Tap and a waste disposal unit in June 2015 via the show rooms in Slough and paid £101. When I received the parcel/one box via Parcel Force (courier) realised that I needed a Left Hand basin instead of the Right Hand one. I contacted the Customer Services .They advised that I should place a new order and pay £101 again and to return the first delivery so that I will be given a refund of £101. I returned the first delivery parcel/box UNOPENED via UPS. It was returned on 26th June 2015 and was delivered to BETTERBATHROOMS on the 27th of June 2015. I didn't hear from them for some time . When I contacted BETTERBARTHROOMS they denied receiving any parcel from me. This went on for 2 weeks. I submitted confirmation of delivery given by UPS to BETTERBARTHROOMS and then they refunded ONLY £52. When I questioned about this amount they requested me to confirm the weight of the parcel as they claimed goods were missing from the unopened box. As it's NOT the policy of UPS to weigh parcels BETTERBARTHROOMS closed the matter leaving me out of pocket for £52. Then I had to go through Barclaycard and managed to get my balance money. It is an additional wonder of the world that items went missing in an UNOPENED box. I must have spent a fortune on telephone calls and seldom some one picks up the phone at the other end. Also I spend £20 to returns the parcel. This is ONE OF THE MOST HORRIBLE COMPANIES I have dealt with in my life time.

I'm getting onto a month now with no resolution or replies, damaged item, takes days to get a reply and now after uploading photos of the damaged item they have gone silent. Astounded a company with a online presence can operate with complete and utter disregard for customers.

If anyone had online order outstanding then Better bathrooms used PayPal for their online transactions. If you call PayPal they can dispute this and refund you to the card you payed on.

Everything went wrong, starting from a breach of contract - was promised delivery on Tuesday 20th March- today is 21st, and still NO delivery. Company staff have NO idea of when goods will be delivered. Spent approx. 4 hours on phone only to listen to music! that too awful taste. When I spoke to anyone in dispatch they were insolent, rude and absolutely unknowledgeable. No communication between personnel, great management. Even e mailed the MD Colin however to no avail, no response meaning he does not care. With staff and service like I saw I wonder how the Company does business and is in existence, shocking. Asked several peosonnel for refund but they only offer a credit note; with a Company with attitude how can one shop again using the credit note. Will go public to expose this Company and try to stop them doing business. In short con artists for want of a better description.

Dreadful after sales service. Wrong items delivered. Extremely difficult to get through to the central phoneline. Showroom staff say they cannot contact Better Bathrooms on our behalf. Once we've paid there is no customer support from showroom. I have twice given up after 45 minutes on hold to central phoneline. That is not counting 4 other abortive calls . Emails were not replied to. Delivery dates are indicated on an automated phone line. No human contact. Delivery dates twice not met. No-one contacted us to explain why. Waited in for those 2 days. No result. No way of contacting a human being on central phoneline. Still awaiting delivery of correct size bath panel. Have had to accept a bath smaller than the one ordered because wrong size delivered. . Have had to re-book and cancel our excellent plumbers several times. I'll probably have to buy the missing bath panel myself just to get the bathroom finished. How this company ever got any awards is a mystery to me. The whole experience has been a nightmare.

This company has gone bust. Just climbed through the gate at Romford showroom as we have £800 sunk into this outfit. Confronted a smartly dressed woman who appeared to be HR and she said “I can’t talk to you as we’re about to talk to the staff” I persisted and eventually she whispered “yes, we’ve gone into administration, we will write to all customers as soon as possible” we’ve been onto the bank as we paid with visa...they said they can help as soon as it’s officially logged at companies house as bust. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Ending up cancelling my order completely. It should've been delivered in 2-3 weeks (couple of items were out of stock). After 3 weeks I called them (took about 40 mins to get through), I was told it would be another 5-7 days. After 7 days called them again and was told it could take another 2 weeks...What a joke of a company! So I cancelled my order there and then.

I’ve just read all of the one star reviews on here. I agree with all of them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! It is showing all the signs of being fraudulent and obviously going bust. I ordered anew toilet, sink and taps for our downstairs cloakroom in Jan 14th on the strength that their website said it was all in stock for immediate delivery. LIE. No communication from them at all. Tried calling the service line it after very long waiting times, the calls are dropped. I telephoned again pretending I wanted to place an order so I could speak to someone. I’m told that the toilet is still not in stock.....should be in the warehouse on the 22nd Feb. Still no communication. Went to the York store to be told that refunds cannot be done in store! What rubbish! I ask for the advisor to telephone on my behalf, but he would not do it. I telephone the service line again this morning. I’m told I’m 19 in the queue. I wait half an hour. Gets to my turn and the call is dropped. I call again. Number 15 in the queue. This time my call is answered. Lovely lady doing her best. Tells me that she has cancelled the order, but is unable to process the refund back on to my card as the company is going through ‘transition’. RED LIGHT! I’m told that the only way for a refund is if she raises a cheque! I’m told this cheque will be sent recorded delivery and will arrive within 21 days. After reading everyone else’s reviews, I’m not confident at all that this will appear. Fortunately, I paid on credit card so hopefully I’m covered should this cheque not arrive. The company is obviously in dire straights with the owner taking peoples money without he intention of honouring the orders. Very worrying indeed. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt regarding my refund by cheque. If this doesn’t happen, I’ll be straight to trading standards. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! You will probably lose your money.

my delivery got delayed due to stock issues but spoke to a brilliant advisor caused Stuart who dealt with my inquiry and resolved the matter, I think alot of people need to remember its not the staff's fault who anwser the phone.

Possibly the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Bought and paid for bathroom fittings on the understanding it was a 3 to 5 day delivery, which the salesman promised. Items never appeared and never any contact from them. Their customer service is truly appalling. Promises to return calls are never kept and when told vague delivery dates it all turns out to be complete fabrication. Have a book ready if you do call customer service because you will be left “on hold” for hours. Eventually found someone willing to tell the truth (perhaps he shouldn’t be working for them!) who advised the items would be at least a 7-8 week delivery, not 3 to 5 days. Cancelled order and then waited weeks for the refund to appear, which only happened by constantly pestering them. Furthermore the items would have been cheap Chinese inferior standard products anyway. Should have researched more carefully before buying. Lesson learnt. Went elsewhere, paid more for quality products. but at least we have them. You are strongly advised never to deal with this company as you will certainly regret doing so.

Awful. 2 months of waiting for order. Some wrong parts and some defective. 4 calls to customer service waiting in the queue for 30 minutes each time. Still not resolved.

This is a froud company. They are selling products which are not in their stock. I bought a shower tray, enclosure and toilet. On the day of the sale I was advised by the sales adviser Shey that I should receive a call within 7 days for delivery date. I did not receive that call and when i called the customer service, I was told the profucts were not in stock and they would come back in stock In two months. I did not accept this and cancelled the order and demanded a refund to ve told ws this was a showroom sales the refund would only be authorised by the showroom manager. I went to the showroom on the same day on A406 and spoke to assistant manager Martin who admitted that it was a company policy to advise the customers with a week delivery phonecall whether the products are in stock or not. I was astonished at how they missold rhe products. It’s been a month now and I still have not received the refund. It took about a week for the manager to authorise it and I was told that I should be receiving a cheque within 7 to 14 working days, but no sign of the cheque yet. If I don’t get the cheque by the end of the week I will be taking legal action..

Placed order and paid for guaranteed delivery. Item didn't arrive, chased it and told its out of stock. Asked for refund and told 7/10 working days! Finally got refund after 3 weeks by doing a chargeback on my card. Just lookout the complaints on here and their Facebook page, its shocking. Ordered item from Victorian Plumbing, arrived on time with no fuss, good price and quality.

After just 16 moths all fittings corroded and fell apart costing a huge repair bills. When we called customer services we were told we "must live in hard water area".... we asked if that were the case why were other 14 year old existing fittings elsewhere in the house ok ...the response was " we only have 12 month guarantee " !!! We have since had to replace 4 sink fittings , one set shower fittings and full bath fittings after just 18 months at a cost of £1103 with plumbers costs !!! Should be called " BODGER BATHROOMS "

Avoid this company - Unless, of course, you like hanging on the phone for 30mins trying to get through, having your emails ignored and paying for bathrooms you don't receive, in which case, go right ahead. I've had to instruct my Credit Card provider to use my Chargeback rights as refunds seem impossible to obtain. To keep with the bathroom theme - they are a shower of sh**e

Not even worth one star STAY CLEAR i order a bathroom suite which after waiting in all day never arrived no phone call or apology i sent them numerous emaila at least 8 and no reply tried ringing them and eventually got through a lady called Mel answered no explanation or apology i asked for a full refund and an email confirming our conversation and guess what nothing after they promised a refund and email shocking!!

Disgusting customer service. Requested a refund of products they cannot give me a delivery date on, after telling me 3-5 working days. Told have to wait 7-10 working days for my money back. Not interested that I don’t have a shower or bath in the meantime! Avoid at all costs.

Ordered walk in bath on 15.8. Told 14 days delivery but usually 7/10 days. Ordered sink, shower etc on 22.8. Told these are in stock always. Plumber fixed for 3/5th September. Received text 29.8. that delivery was to be on 30.8. Confirmed with plumber. All arrived except bath. Phoned Glasgow store. Manager would get back to me. Next day he was off. Still waiting. Put through to customer care. 28 mins wait. Would be prioritised and get back to me. Didn't get back to me. Phoned customer care following day. 23 mins wait on phone. No news. Still waiting today, 5.9.
