Missed delivery date twice - cancelled order Still waiting for refund 15 days later. Customer services not helpful. phone Que waiting times are enormous. Steer clear!

I finally recieved my bathroom suite in July 2017. Parts were missing some sections of the shower cubicle were not what we had ordered this resulting in cancelling the plumber for a further six weeks until the correct one's arrived. Not good when there's four adults in the house without a complete bathroom!! Since then I've had to replace three parts, two at my own expense as they were only covered for twelve months, so read the small print and I'm trying yet again to get through to customer services to arrange another replacement. Customer sevices phone line often has extreemly long waiting time so where possible use the chat line. Quality, I'd say the lower end of fare. I wont be using Better Bathrooms again.

As others on Reviews.co.uk have found, the customer service at Better Bathrooms is a shambles. Having ordered a cloakroom suite on 6th January and paid for delivery on 25th January, the delivery day arrived with no update on the order either via email/phone or the tracking/my account info on the Better Bathroom website. Trying to contact the company to discuss the order is only possible via phone (live chat is only available to discuss making an order, not after sales support) so I called them up. 25mins later my call was answered and after another lengthy hold period, I was told that the entire range I’d ordered had been discontinued, and wasn’t even available at the time I’d ordered it! I pointed out that all of the items I’d ordered had been showing as ‘in stock’ when the order was placed and it was explained to me that the website doesn’t represent stock levels accurately! I was offered the chance to order something else with a discount of 15% as ‘our new ranges are a lot more expensive’... or a refund. I asked for the refund which I was told would take 7-10 days to appear on my credit card account. Judging by other recent reviews, I imagine a further call will be needed in two weeks’ time when no sign of a refund has materialised. One thing to note is that the customer service rep mentioned that the reason for this problem was a merger that happened around Christmas, with a subsequent decision being to cease stocking certain lines. No help knowing that after ordering but worth bearing in mind if you’re thinking of buying from them. In short: avoid Better Bathrooms.

Avoid this company - Unless, of course, you like hanging on the phone for 30mins trying to get through, having your emails ignored and paying for bathrooms you don't receive, in which case, go right ahead. I've had to instruct my Credit Card provider to use my Chargeback rights as refunds seem impossible to obtain. To keep with the bathroom theme - they are a shower of sh**e

Please please please avoid this shambolic 'company' like the plague. Wish I found this site before I had the misfortune of placing an order with them. Cancelled the order and now fighting for full refund. Don't make the same mistake...you have been warned

Very unhappy with this company. They misinformed us numerous time about delivery time. we ordered pices for a complete bathroom refurbishment in a hope that the goods will arrive in one go and quick as they promised. They delivered the promised items in seperate loads, missing parts etc. Horrible experience. Finally as I lost hope I cancelled the delivery of the missing last item and bought it in the pluimber shop nearby. ( no need to say cheaper ) I am now fighting for the refund. Of course there is no one I can talk to about this in the company.

Steer well clear of this company, there are far better companies on the net. They take your money knowing that they haven't got the goods, give you a delivery date with no intention or hope of delivering on that date. If I hadn't phoned them I would never have known they were out of stock and wouldn't be having any more stock. They never phone you back or answer Emails and you will have to chase them for your money back. A real shocker of a company who couldn't care less once they have your money.

I bought goods worth of £350, and they charged £704 over the telephone order on 24/12/2018. Today 22.01.2019, and I am still waiting for my refund of around £350 pounds. When I call they simply saying that it is with account department (final stage) and I will get paid in a week time and I made this call 3 time and I got 3 weeks extended without result.

They messed me about for 5 weeks, are very hard to get hold of 30-55mins in my experience. I waited 30mins for a reply on live chat. They couldn't help obviously. Lied to and deceived when you do get through, don't reply to emails I have waited 47 days to receive a refund...still waiting. I threatened to seek legal advice which seemed to prompt them to do something. I've been told I should receive it within 5 days. I have no faith in this company at all.

Not even worth one star STAY CLEAR i order a bathroom suite which after waiting in all day never arrived no phone call or apology i sent them numerous emaila at least 8 and no reply tried ringing them and eventually got through a lady called Mel answered no explanation or apology i asked for a full refund and an email confirming our conversation and guess what nothing after they promised a refund and email shocking!!

I'll admit, I have had a few issues regarding delivery days/times & such however I wouldn't actually go as far as to say their customer service was "appalling", for starters the people on the phone aren't the drivers & don't really have any power over how the items arrive plus, they're stuck in an office all day being screamed at for issues that aren't their fault. Of course, I've worked in CS for a number of years & even though my overall experience wasn't the best, I know it will be rectified eventually & the people on the phone have enough to deal with without another irrate customer telling them everything is their fault, they can only do so much.

The first delivery was missing a toilet cistern. Which to be fair was replaced within a few days. However when we opened the undamaged box the cistern was cracked and scratched and didn't even match the toilet bowl either. I am still waiting for a resolution to this matter.

See my review from a couple of days ago. I called the day I wrote the review and was told that the refund of over £100 that I had been waiting for since the 14th of December would be paid straight back to me. I have just checked my bank and guess what- nothing. Just avoid this company (in my opinion). Customer service STINKS.

Purchased a bath and paid a premium for next day delivery. I received no confirmation from the delivery company on the day that the bath was supposed to arrive. After a phone call to customer services (20minute hold time) I was told the item was out of stock, despite it saying otherwise on their website. I would have had no way of knowing this if i did not call them. I requested a refund on the 3rd January, which I am yet to receive (it is now the 16th). Do not even go near this company, absolutely appalling.

Disgusting customer service. Requested a refund of products they cannot give me a delivery date on, after telling me 3-5 working days. Told have to wait 7-10 working days for my money back. Not interested that I don’t have a shower or bath in the meantime! Avoid at all costs.

I wish I had read all these reviews before I placed my order with them last November. OK I only spent a little over £900 but the bath had to go back as they had sent the wrong size which delayed the bathroom being fitted. The vanity unit had scratches all over the doors. They exchanged both these items after a week but only took the bath away and told me to dispose of the vanity unit myself!!! Then I had to exchange the shower (my fault) They would only agree to take the shower back once I had ordered a new one from them and paid for it. That was on the 14th of December. I am still waiting for a refund of over £100.I have called twice, but get no where!!! I will call again today and see what happens. Yes the show rooms are great but then it all goes down hill ( in my opinion). I would NEVER use this company EVER again.

1/ CUSTOMER services Do we need to say more, well ok bought new bathroom suite ( individual items so just bit dearer) but when you what to send back or exchange a item , you have to wait till credited with the item sent back then order new one and wait till it turns up. That could be ages, then there's the point of the credit for your item WHO what's credit when you have bought your bathroom just refund please.

Avoid using this place if you want to receive your products on time. I ordered a wi-fi speaker on Boxing Day and was told it would be delivered within 3-4 days. On January 7th I called them to find out where it was and was staggered to learn that it wouldn't be delivered until February 4th. That's more than 8 weeks after I placed the order! They told me there had been a "delay at customs" and that the company had been "restructuring". I received no update and no apology. Not the most expensive thing on the planet but the kids were looking forward to using it on New Year's Eve. Total waste of time.

If I could submit a review with no stars that would be more accurate. I only wish I’d read the reviews before ever going to this company. Spent £120 on an illuminated mirror with clock feature along with full bathroom suite. Spent about a thousand pound in total. Had bathroom fitted whilst away on holiday. Came back the clock is faulty... in a day it’s changed 2 minutes. Went into Leigh store to be told we have to take mirror back to be checked by their technicians would take a few days.. if they deem it faulty I get a replacement if not I get it back... they said it could be our fitters who have fitted it wrong... how can you fit a mirror wrong. I offered to pay for a replacement so my fitters would only charge me the one price but they said if the technician deems the item not faulty I get it back without a refund. My problem seems quite small in comparison to some of the problems I’ve read on here but customer service is unbelievable... I had tiles from b&q that were no longer needed and although I had purchased them 2 months ago due to being away they just refunded the money back to me without question yet all I was asking for was a credit note. With service like better bathrooms provides I can’t see them being around long term!!!!

I bought a bathroom suite approx 2 years. Can’t remember having any issues with the delivery. My complaint about the this company is that the quality of their product range which the absolute lowest in quality. I have already had to replace the sink tap. The 2 screws that sit underneath the fountain tap for the bath tub have been dislodged, and therefore no longer in use. And the thermostat on our shower head is faulty. We also noticed very quickly noticed the surface on the bathtub changed colour in spots. Plus they use plastic toilet seats, which give your suite a cheap look. I understand from someone in the trade that they use a cheap product range sourced from China. I would seriously advise you to avoid this company if you want a durable and quality bathroom suite.
