“Purchased these sandals at least twice before, never had any issues with them. My girlfriend loved them. These pair cracked on top of sandal within a few weeks of wearing them. Reached out to Birkenstock and was told it was her fault, she is walking around in them incorrectly and that’s why they are cracking. That does make any sense and has never happened with the previous 2 pair. I’m so glad Birkenstock supports their products. Not happy at all!!”

“Worst customer service ever. My Birkenstocks wore out after 3-4 years, so I tried to order the same model and color. I received the wrong color (lighter brown) twice. I returned the first pair and complained, but when I ordered again, they sent me the wrong color once more. I contacted customer service, but they were unhelpful. They kept responding with the wrong colors, and when I sent them the links to the correct and incorrect items, they just replied, "Here is the link, and for technical reasons, we can’t take orders by phone or mail." Despite using the correct link, I received the wrong color both times. Do not rely on Birkenstock customer service—they can't differentiate the colors of their products and won't help resolve issues.”
“I have had several pairs of Birkenstocks and have always had great success with them, usually lasting for 3+ years. This pair that I purchased a year ago is already broken and needs to be thrown out. When I brought this to their attention they offered me $10 off on a new pair. This is ridiculous I spend 100 dollars on a pair of the shoes and they will pay for my shipping as a fix? These used to be one of my favorite brands but now I don’t see it being worth the money. On August 15, 2022 I purchased Andermatt Shearling boots. They lay in my closet for a long time, about six months ago I started wearing them. I was just walking along the city asphalt. Recently I got caught in the rain and got my feet very wet. When I looked at the sole, it was full of holes! This is already my second pair from this brand that end up with holes. My first boots of the same model wore out quickly in the same way. I replaced the soles, but they were too heavy for them, the shoes were no longer comfortable to wear, and I had to throw them away.
These shoes so short-lived even though I paid 125 euros for them! I will not buy anything from Birkenstock again.
When I bought them, I hoped to wear it for several years, but Birkenstock is simply mocking me by selling substandard goods.”

“Defective sandals won't be replaced. They said it is normal wear and tear. They have been worn a minimal amount of times. The so called leather is cracking. The customer service agent acts like the replacement would come out of her check. $100 sandals probably cost 10.00. I have numerous pairs of Birkenstocks, but I won't have anymore.”

“First, I am a fan and advocate of Birkenstocks which is why I feel extra frustrated with customer service because I do love the brand. For years now I buy every year new Birkenstocks and lately I wanted to try som in-house Zermatt Premium Sherling. VEry nice for in house, especially during cold winter months. I wear them after taking a shower in the evening but unfortunately the black color stains my feet intensely. The stains are not only intense in color but also extremely difficult to remove. I can't wear them in the evening because it would effect my white bedding linen. Instead of taking my problem and request to return the item seriously. I received an email saying that there is nothing wrong with the product and that the recomendation is to clean my feet first with olive oil and after with Soap. To be clear, after taking a shower in the evening - the perfect time to wear these in-house- Birkenstocks, I have to take another shower to clean them. The oil and soap recommendation doesn't work by the way. My feet still look un-clean and it looks embarrassing when I am with people.
Birkenstock, no matter if my return request was beyond the time frame, there is something wrong with this product and it would be appropriate to address factory errors accordingly instead of trying to justify the 'health and quality' of the product and sending me complicated cleaning guidelines on how to wash my feet. A Birkenstock fan.

“Appalling customer service. After dozens of emails and calls to customer services I'm still no nearer getting a refund. I've been owed £260 for 2 months son i 'm now going to try and claim via PayPal.
