I ordered a deluxe gift box for my brother’s birthday in Kelowna and it was delivered 3 days late after I had to call and ask where it was. I talked to a person who didn’t even care. She said she would upgrade it by adding some deluxe chocolates. The chocolates were pathetic. No apology. The gift basket was a not what it looked like in the picture. Do not order from Bloomex!

Frankly, that should be -1 star. Bloomex is, at best, below mediocre and, at worst, a predatory business. I ordered a gift basket from Bloomex to be delivered on April 30. Since the order wasn’t delivered and it was showing as “updated”, I called the Bloomex and was told that the driver returned the order to the warehouse. Their story is that the recipient wasn’t home. The recipient’s story is that he was. Whether the Bloomex lied because they committed to more orders than they could deliver or their driver lied because he stopped to get a cup of coffee is irrelevant and certainly not something that a customer should pay for. So, I ‘be requested the full refund from Bloomex as the terms of our agreement were not met. Bloomex offered to deliver it some other day in the future (on a slow business day, probably). No other date would work for me, or for the recipient. They also offered a store credit, which is a common pressure tactic - it forces the wronged consumer to continue to do business with a business with which they are unhappy. I insisted to get a refund instead and Bloomex replied that they couldn’t do that as per their store policy. The Consumer Protection Act trumps any store policy. NEVER LET A BUSINESS GET AWAY WITH A STORE CREDIT! You are entitled to a full refund every time the store false advertises, doesn’t meet their obligations, or you are not happy with their service or quality of the purchased goods. Consumer Protection Act protects you and your money whatever the store’s petty store policy is. :) As Bloomex didn’t meet their end of the agreement and I had never agreed to any other delivery date, we’ve reached an impasse. Therefore, I submitted a number of complaints against their unfair business practices. Think about it - If Bloomex didn’t refund an unfulfilled order, they de facto stole the X amount of $$ from me. If they get away with it, what stops them from incorporating such practice into their business model and stealing from others too? Bloomex business practices are borderline criminal.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I placed two seperate orders but with the same flowers that were to be delivered. The recipients received a completely different bouquet while none of the flowers were the same. There was no bow on the vase as in the photo, the vase was different for BOTH orders, there were no roses, not even the colour scheme was the same. The carnations in one of the photos were broken off when arrived. One of the cards weren't even on a stick while one of them was on stick. Do not purchase from here. I ordered all roses and received dried up carnations instead. This company is the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL floral company in Canada. No wonder the reviews are so low. Hope they get shut down. See below for what I ordered vs what was delivered - such a scam.

Paid over $75 dollars for fifteen tulips and a vase delivered, and within four days the tulips were dead. The tracking said they were in transit for two days…no wonder they died so fast. Very disappointed.

I ordered a cookie basket to be delivered in Kelowna B.C. to my daughter. On the day before it was to be delivered, I was told the delivery service was having technical difficulties and it would not be delivered the next day as scheduled. Oh, and they don't deliver on weekends so my "next day" delivery actually took 5 days. I complained on Day 4 and they said they would send the order out again. Day 5 my daughter got a basket of crackers, tea, and candy - NOT ONE COOKIE. On day 6 she got a second basket identical to the first one. NOT ONE COOKIE. Again I complained and they said they had the right to substitute for items they did not have. I was not notified that they did not have ANY cookies in stock (so why do they have it available on their website?), nor was I given the chance to change my order. I will NOT be ordering from them again.

I ordered flowers for a celebration of life to be held in Arnprior 1 week prior just to get a call the same day, after the time they were suppose to be delivered, to tell me that they were unable to deliver the flowers. Never even got to know the reason. This is unacceptable. They did offer to deliver the flowers at a home address but this was for a colleague and I did not know her address. I asked for a full refund on the Monday. Hopefully they will grant it. I will never order from BLOOMEX again. They are unreliable.

I was very disappointed in a recent boquet I sent to my dear friend who lost her Dad. However, because of the excellent customer service I received from Bloomex who offered to an additional boquet free of charge or an in store credit of equal value. I will definitely order from them again. Lenore Sweeney Nova Scotia

My son sent flowers through Bloomex. I think the box cost more than the flowers!!! 6 Cala lilies no palm stems as requested, no package of product to keep them alive longer. I’m sure he must of asked for a card to be enclosed. No card just a piece of cut up paper with a message. This was for a milestone birthday, If my son knew he would be livid!! I’m sure my son paid a lot of money. This doesn’t resemble anything on their website. I’ll never use this company in the future.

I ordered flowers for a loved ones passing on March 27. On April 10 I received an email saying the flowers I ordered were too expensive to deliver for what I paid. I called the 1-800 immediately to see what was happening. I was told a supervisor would call me back. That didn’t happen so I called again I was given an email saying they don’t do refunds. The flowers were not delivered and I have not received a refund yet. They did offer to deliver other flowers however it has already been two weeks. DONT BUY FROM BLOOMEX!!!

I recently received a bouquet from Bloomex purchased by several family members for my birthday. I have NEVER in all my customer experiences seen anything like the blatant lack of service, reliability, value for money and sheer deception in this transaction. $110 was spent for this gift for what was to be a Supersized bouquet, however, what I received was a $14 bunch of mums that looked like it was picked out of a bucket at the corner convenience store. The flowers were left outside on the porch, it was 4 degrees outside and I was home!! The flowers were wilted and 3 days late. Several promises were made for dates and times of delivery by Bloomex, however, NONE of them were met. This is DEFINITELY a BUYER BEWARE situation. This is a service that I would NEVER use or recommend to anyone.

The worst service ever!!!!!! Please do not go to this Scam!!! I was trying to send flowers with a card to a family that just went through a very very painful loss …. Not sure when exactly they got the parcel … but the card was messed up … only part of my message was transcribed, with no signature so they never knew it came from me … I requested a refund but they refused saying it’s not in their policies and they wanted to offer a store credit, I said no thank you, I want my money back … but they would still not want to refund me … so I had to go to my bank and ask for a reversal …. I’m waiting for it to be processed … DON’T ever go to that company … I don’t know who they are or where they are hiding but we gotta make sure they stop scamming people

I have never had such a terrible experience trying to get flowers delivered before.  I placed the order on March 21st for a 20 Tulip Combo (Supersize) to be delivered to my cousin for her 60th birthday on Friday the 22nd.  After i ordered I get an email stating that tulips are no longer available and that they would be substituted with a "designers" bouquet from your florist.  The flowers were not delivered on Friday, or Sat, or Sunday.  I called twice during that time.  First time i was told that they were out for delivery and they would be there by 8pm Saturday night, and the second time I called they said it would be Tuesday before they could be delivered.  The flowers arrived Monday morning.  In no world are these designer flowers.  They look like a $12 bouquet that you would pick up at the grocery store that got dropped a few times on the way to the car.  Im pretty sure the vase is from the dollar store.  The message on the card was printed on a printer that was running out of ink and was printed on the backside of a coupon that was then taped to a card.  This has been a terrible experience from the very beginning. So not only did they arrive 3 days late but I paid $110 dollars for something that looks like its worth $15.

I got scammed out of $160 for flowers and a gift basket that looked nothing like advertised, delivered 2 days late. What a rip off company this is. It is amazing they are still in business. Do your research before buying from these crooks.

Terrible Experience with Bloomex (Order #4361368 - March 12, 2024). I placed an order (#4361368) on March 12, 2024, for a special occasion, hoping to send a thoughtful gift to my sister in Canada. However, the entire process was a complete disaster from start to finish. No flowers were ever delivered and Bloomex are refusing to refund my money. Firstly, Bloomex unilaterally changed the delivery date without consulting me, citing logistical reasons. Despite my concerns, I compromised by agreeing to the new delivery date, thinking, if the flowers were to arrive sooner than the occasion that was better than later. Bloomex then left me completely in the dark about the status of my order. Their promised updates and promised store credit for compromising on the earlier delivery date never materialized. When I reached out to inquire about the delivery some days later, I received vague responses and no confirmation whether the order was actually delivered or not. It wasn't until I escalated the issue that I eventually learned my order hadn't been delivered due to a "courier mistake." I had to chase down this information. Despite admitting fault in writing, Bloomex are refusing to issue a refund and instead are offering to resend the order or provide an in-store credit. Why would I want in store credit for a company as unreliable and uncommunicative as this? Their unwillingness to take responsibility for their mistakes speaks volumes about their lack of integrity. I have received neither goods nor services in exchange for my hard earned money. I am left with no choice but to escalate the matter with my bank and will be requesting a chargeback on my Mastercard. It's unfortunate that Bloomex's incompetence and disregard for their customers forced me to take such time consuming measures. I strongly advise others against doing business with Bloomex if you value reliability, transparency, and actually receiving goods or services in exchange for your money. Save yourself the hassle and avoid being scammed by Bloomex at all costs.
