I got my desk without a desk top and tried to call twice with no result currently trying to get hold of this company to locate my desk

Hi Nathan, We're sorry your desk top has not been delivered with the rest of your desk. Our offices have been closed today and over the bank holiday weekend, however, we will be open tomorrow from 9am and our customer service team will be able to look into the issue for you. We have found that some deliveries are getting split up by our courier at the depot due to the large number of items they are handling due to the coronavirus. There is a good chance that the rest of your desk top will be delivered tomorrow if it still has not arrived. However, we will be happy to look into this for you tomorrow, so please either email us at help@bluespotfurniture.co.uk or give us a call in the morning on 0800 804 4760. Once again, we're sorry that your order was not delivered together but we can hopefully get this issue rectified quickly for you tomorrow.

Furniture seems to be of reasonable quality however although it was one desk, there were three packages that arrived over 2 consecutive days. There were also screws and caps missing so I now have to wait further to have them sent separately in the post so still not able to use. Their customer services staff were, however, helpful when dealing with these issues hence the score of 2 stars.

Unhappy with Kerbside delivery and the attitude of staff on the phone when they said it would cost £100 to return them 10 miles away, forced to take delivery in the end.

We're very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the delivery of your order. Unfortunately, as stated on our website, our delivery is always kerbside only. This is standard practice across the industry, due to the type of couriers required for large and bulky items such as office furniture. For customers that require an alternative, we offer a delivery and installation service on our products for those that wish for the product to be brought into the premises and constructed. We are sorry that you find the return delivery charges to be high, but again this is due to the couriers required for this type of item. It also reflects the distance that the product needs to be returned, which is to our factory in Wakefield, over 200 miles away, rather than the 10 miles you suggest. The cabnet came with instructions that were for a larger unit. The instructions were far from clear. Had I not got previous experience of building flat-packs I would have been completely lost. Further, the materials used for the unit are poor and cruel with pressure. The delivery was very difficult with your driver finding it difficult to accept that we did not want the pallet that the goods came on. Very, very poor all round.

We take customer concerns very seriously and do our best to quickly resolve any issues, so it is unfortunate that this is the first we are hearing of your concerns. With regards to the quality of materials, as the manufacturer of this furniture, we only use the highest quality of materials. We ship thousands of items every month and poor material quality is not something that we get reports of from other customers. If there was an issue with your items, it would be greatly appreciated if you could contact us directly. With regards to your delivery, our delivery information page (https://www.kitoutmyoffice.com/pages/free-delivery-office-furniture) clearly states that your items may be delivered on a pallet. These terms also state that the disposal of the pallet and all packaging materials are the responsibility of the recipient. We are sorry that you were unaware of this, but this is common practice when delivering larger items that require palletised delivery. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

Second time ordering. The first time it didn't turn up and then we had to argue with them hen they said it would be with us in a few days. Ordered again and they have failed to deliver it again so exact same problem. Good quality kit when it arrives but do not order if you want it in a hurry.

Hi Stuart, We are very sorry that there was an issue with your delivery yesterday. Unfortunately, this was due to an error on the part of the courier. In order to minimise the inconvenience caused, this has been upgraded to an AM delivery today, so should be with you soon. With regards to your previous order, the delay in delivery was down to your choice of our lower cost economy delivery option, which offered a 7 working day lead time. Once you contacted us, we were able to upgrade this to a next working day delivery option for you in order to resolve your issue. We're sorry if you were not happy with this solution. I was charged an incredibly large (30% of product cost) re-delivery fee due to not being at home to accept the delivery even though they did not give me any time frame for delivery outside a 12 hour range.

Hi Emil, Thank you for your review. It is worth noting that we contacted you when delivery was taking place and you confirmed that you had expected the concierge in your building to accept the delivery. As discussed with you at the time, this delivery was not accepted by the concierge due to the size of the package, something that you informed us you had not considered. While we apologise that you were not able to receive your delivery on the expected day, this is not something that was within our control to resolve. While we are aware that the cost of re-delivery is high, this is due to the high prices charged by couriers for bulky furniture items. Delivery is built into the product cost on our website, but the re-delivery costs do need to be paid for as the need to re-deliver was not the fault of either Kit Out My Office or the courier company.

Asked to cancel part of the order and emailed a full day before dispatch. Never had a reply and stuck with a desk I don’t need. Cost of sending it back and the hassle is a pain.

Damage to some corners of desk and some dowels too big to fit properly. I now have a desk that is unsafe and not put together properly and will have to pay someone to come and resolve the issue

Hi Debra, Thanks for taking the time to review, and I'm sorry to hear of your issues. Have you reported the damaged to customer service? I have no record of it at our side, as we would of course replace any parts from delivery damage. Regarding the dowels being too big, there are some adaptors in the fittings pack to put in the holes first, again if you give us a quick call we can walk you through any issues. Instructions are poor. Instructions seemed to show another cabinet and it’s down to you to figure it out. Basic concept is the same but nothing to follow to the T. Lock is not Sturdy.

The product panels are not of good quality. Some of them already had light damage. The fittings do not hold the unit together well. I paid £325 for this office desk with top storage. Not worth the money.

We ordered the desk we wanted and delivery was arranged for Friday at anytime. I turned down a mornings work & waited in - the delivery didn't turn up. I emailed to find out why to be told, 'they were not sure and it would be re-delivered Monday'. (Thats 2 days I've had to wait in and not be able to work). As promised, it got delvered on the Monday with the same delivery driver stating, he couldn't get his lorry down our road because his lorry was too big & there were too many cars in the way. Had someone of rung me, I would of driven the 100 yards down to the end of our road & collected the desk from the back of the lorry. It arrived in several boxes as it was quite heavy, some of which were partially wet. I unpacked the desk & started to build the base, only to find some of the special screws were missing. I emailed Chloe at Kit Out My Office, and was told they would be sent out in the post. Its now Thursday and there is no sign of the screws. I've emailed again and asked about the missing screws, and been told they must of gone missing in the post and they would be sent again. My husband is trying to run his business, do quotes, look at drawings, work out prices and is now struggling because he has no desk to work on. His other desk got dismantled on Friday last week, because we thought we would have the new one up and working. All in all, what we can see of the desk so far, it looks of good sturdy quality. As for missing screws & many emails... really frustrating, as its now affecting our business & our customers. Things like number of screws etc. should be checked before its sent out. We have had the desk in pieces dotted about our house now for 5 days as of tomorrow, waiting for the screws. £250 payed out but its no bloody good if we can't put it together! If this was for just the kids to do homework, it wouldn't be a problem, but it's not, it's to run our family business & its needed every night.

I ordered a desk and chair for next day delivery. Both items were shown as in-stock when I placed my order. Within a short time I got an email saying that the desk was out of stock and I could either wait or change to a replacement, which I did. The desk arrived but the chair did not. It seems this was also out of stock but nobody told me until I contacted the helpdesk. I have had to cancel this part of my order and look elsewhere

I ordered three desks, one of the desk tops arrived damaged, to be fair KOMO were quick to send a replacement but that was also damaged. Again quick to send a replacemnet, assumining it arrives tomorrow as promised and in one piece. Shame. On the whole, nice company and good people, but you've got to get it right first time. Bit village really.

delivery date promises not kept, no communication and I had to follow up more than once. Eventual promised delivery date not met after I waited in all day. Finally i got a call to say deliver would be the next day only to find the item delivered and left in our front garden when i returned home....all in all very poor service...

I was really looking forward to receiving my desk that I purchased and accepted the delay due to units not being stock at the time of ordering. When I did get the delivery date I waited in and when I rang at 4.59pm to see if it was indeed going that day I was told that the staff finish at 5pm and everyone had gone and could not confirm if my order would arrive that day. In fact 30 minutes later my order did arrive. When we went to put it together the holes underneath the desk did not match up with the unit where the computer is stored so we just hoped the weight of the top unit will be enough which it does seem to be. The instructions were not clear as each section had its own instructions without any whole document. I had hoped my ordering something via yourselves would be better than a bog standard Ikea order - it seems not! I will add looking at it now it does look lovely but the construction and lack of holes in the right place is not great.

The legs for the desk were delivered on Friday as expected (ordered Thursday before 1pm with "Next Day" delivery). Delivery driver said the actual desk itself was being delivered separately. Waited all day, no sign. The company offers Saturday delivery so was hoping they'd pick up that it wasn't delivered on time and expedite it. Still no sign on Saturday. Finally delivered on Monday, 5 minutes before I was leaving for my flat with some other furniture to move in. Also disappointed there was no tracking info at all, just a dispatch email although they were using trackable services.

Delivery much slower than the (already slow) times shown in website. Delivery only to kerbside. Matching pieces not assembled correctly (2 left side pieces). Slightly mitigated by friendly customer service, but little in practice done to alleviate the problems above. Nice people, but I wouldn't buy furniture from them.

To clarify your point about delivery - you ordered a 'made to order' reception desk, one of the few products on our site that is not 'next day delivery' and we emailed you throughout to tell you the estimated delivery date for the product.
