Nonexistent support after placing the order. Order was SUPER late. No agent could tell the status of the order when contacted twice. Three times after that, nobody ever responded to my chat/email query. It felt like everyone has quit or got fired from bulkbooks. I even contacted my credit card to see if I need to dispute the charge for non-delivery.

Hi Meena, Thank you for your review. So sorry to hear of the delayed shipment and lack of communication. In checking the order, it looks like the book ordered was a print-on-demand title and we were assured delivery by the 1/16 requested delivery date. It looks like our customer service reps checked in on 1/12 and 1/15 for tracking and updates. We finally heard back later on 1/15 that the books were still being printed. They then shipped on 1/18. If none of this was communicated, then I sincerely apologize as you should have been notified every step of the way. If you don't mind, could you please let me know which number and/or email address you attempted us at? I want to make sure we get this resolved so it does not happen again. If you decide to give us another chance (and I hope that you do), please reach out to me directly when you're ready to order books so that I can personally see your order through, as well as provide our best discounts possible. I have not received my order yet. They were shipped to the wrong address and UPS has not delivered them yet.

Hi Kay, I'm sorry to hear that UPS hasn't delivered your order yet. It looks as though the address was provided directly as you entered at checkout. Have you talked with UPS? The communication with bulkbooks has been very poor. I get an email from someone and reply, and then it takes days to hear back. I thought I was doing a good thing by ordering from ya'll instead of a bigger company but never again.

I was grateful that we were able to make bulk purchases of the books, but the after-sale experience was so opaque. I did not know whether the shipment has been despatched and could not get the relevant information from customer support to inform the recipient of the books.

Good morning, Stephanie. I'm sorry to hear that you did not receive updates through the processing/shipping of your order. You should have received a confirmation email at purchase, then another email with the tracking details once the order shipped. I do show that the tracking was entered (https://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/track?track=yes&trackNums=1Z2707730376221121&requester=ST/trackdetails) and the books were delivered on the requested Jan. 24 delivery date. This was my second order with bulk books. I was very happy with my first order but this one was a far cry from that one. I ordered books in July for an Oct event to make sure I got them in time. My books did not arrive on the expected/requested date nor did I get any notice about when they might arrive. I called 5 times over a period of weeks and left messages (never got a human). I sent emails with no response. On my last attempt, I finally spoke to a live person that communicated she was the only one handling orders. She informed me the books were on back order to which I asked "why wasn't I informed?" In the end she was able to find my books available from another vendor and they are supposedly arriving this week for my event. My event is days away and I now have to carry them in luggage on a plane when I could have shipped them had they arrived on time.

Both times that I have ordered from BulkBooks.com I have experienced issues with shipping. I receive only a partial shipment while my account and the tracking number associated with the order indicate that the order is fulfilled and delivered. I have had to call customer support for both orders. This most recent order I called and got no answer. I never heard back from anyone until I called back again today and was told that the second half of my order should be shipping today. It seems there are some logistical issues with shipping and fulfillment at BulkBooks.com and I will be looking elsewhere for my next bulk book order.

The ordering process was easy, but the wrong order was sent from the publisher. Everyone I talked to was friendly and fairly responsive, but it has taken over a month of me calling or emailing and I just got part of my order yesterday. In the end, it looks like it is going to work out but it took way too much time and effort to make it happen.

Well, the staff on the phone were service friendly, but my order was late by more than a week due to current health situation. The problem was I never got updates about shipping...always left feeling it may or may not cone in. My suggestion is that in future just do automatic updates on shipping status. That would take care of problem. Otherwise, books finally arrived in great shape.

I was not notified that my payment did not go through until I followed up on my own because it was WELL past the time when the books were supposed to arrive. Janessa was very helpful from that point on and the books arrived on time, but I should have been notified so I could have rectified the situation in a more timely manner. Also, the web catalog was not very clearly written and worded -- I was not expecting all board books -- they were not clearly delineated as such in the catalog. The books did arrive in time for our event, for which I am very thankful. A big thanks to Janessa for her help. However, I won't be using your company again.

I did not receive an update for a week with the tracking information until I contacted customer service. Upon calling, I learned that my order was NEVER processed and the books were not available/in stock until the day I called. The call agent helped to take care of the order and I had asked for a manager to call me back with an update. I didn’t receive a call, but I did receive an email of the order update. I would have given 1 star but I did receive my order within 4 days so I give my experience 2 stars.

We tried six times to fax our credit card information to you and each time we received information that someone had answered the phone and it could not go through or that the signal on your end was interrupted. Very frustrating to have to work so hard to give you money

I was notified late that my books were out of stock, and when my shipment finally arrived, I was missing 10 books.

A complete set of books was not in the shipment. I expect we will resolve the issue. I thought your prices were great, ordering was easy, and the partial shipment came quickly. I never received an order nor any kind of notification regarding The Invisible Man, by H.G. Wells, but my payment was processed. I waited to reach out to the company because the other titles came in. I assumed The Invisible Man would come. Now, my back is against the wall without a copy of the book. I will be phoning customer service tomorrow, this alone is the reason for my rating. It is a big deal because it affects my students and my classroom, and my stress level.

My order was not correct. I only received the books and not the workbook, which was a part of my original order. I placed a time-sensitive order. The class starts this Sunday. We will not have the workbook in time. This is not satisfactory.
