“As an enthusiastic 'snapper', limited in knowledge and experience I had been somewhat put off dealing with Calumet as I felt they were focused only on serving a sector of the market that was much more technically competent than me. Having taken the plunge I am happy that I found helpful and engaging assistants who were more than happy to deal at my level though clearly also competent and knowledgeable to a much higher level of expertise. I will be very happy to deal again in the future with Calumet.”

“Hi Folks, been using Cal - Manchester for years, staff and service has always been great in my experience. They are however let down by a billing process that died when we stopped using stone slabs to write on - the time it takes to print receipts on several A4 sheets when you only buy some printer ink is just silly, and then you send another one in the post. And the web site is a joke you could find things quicker with a roller deck and at least related items bearing some resemblance to what you keyed in would be on the same page (and you just PAID someone to rehash this) come on guys for a company of your size and standing in the industry really wont do. The hire facility is great also. Best Wishes Keith”

“I recently attended the Open Day at your Birmingham Store. On the day itself I found all of the staff to be most helpful and friendly. The free sensor cleaning was carried out in an efficient manner and there was even free coffee whilst waiting. To my surprise I received an email about a week later informing me that I had won the draw for a Canon 700D kit. The assistant who I dealt with was able to use my prize as part payment for the model which I had been looking at since its launch. Namely the Canon 70D. The whole process { including using my existing model as part of the purchase } was conducted in a smooth manner. From John Hill {an appreciative customer}.”

“I found the staff very well informed and helpful. I wanted to buy a lens and the advice given confirmed my initial choice. But I also wished to explore buying a new interchangeable lens smaller system than my Canon and the assistant was particularly helpful in identifying what would be the most relevant options for me.
