“Very quick delivery! Oysters Rockefellar great, soft shell crabs fine but I remove some of the breading so I can taste the crabs more and I haven't tried the Beef Wellington yet...looks good!”
“I ordered the 9 layer chocolate cake and Linzer tart cookies as a gift. They arrived in a sturdy package in its own cooler. I was told that both items were delicious and the perfect gift! I highly recommend Chesapeake Crab Cakes and More!”
“I'm rather surprised you've asked me for a review, as I had a difficult experience with you regarding the Clams Casino I ordered. They came with no ice & were spoiled. I called your Customer Support several times & was only offered a 20% discount on a future order, which I found deeply insufficient.
After writing you an angry email & contacting the Better Business Bureau, I was finally offered a refund.
While, I must say, the other item I ordered, the items I was sent by a family member & the items I sent him, were delicious, the above incident left (excuse pun) a really bad taste in my mouth.
I sincerely recommend that you revise your Customer Service policies to be more generous to your customers who are, after all, paying premium prices & expect better treatment from you.”
“Everything we have ever ordered from Chesapeake Bay has been wonderful and just as described. Their selection is so diverse that it enables us to try wonderful dishes we otherwise would not have booked ourselves. High quality and excellent service”
“We purchased the Smith Island cake. It was delicious, moist, easy to thaw. All of our friends loved the 9 layers and chocolate fudge icing. The crab mac and cheese was good, however, I personally thought it tasted a little too fishy. My other family members had no problem with it.”
“We have ordered our Christmas entrees from Chesapeake for a number of years with a different choice each year and have thoroughly enjoyed. This year was their Turducken which was delicious. The variety of appetizers and meal accents we added to other meals over the holidays made each one special for us and our guests.”
