Recieved 1 invoice for 2 separate firearm purchases, only recieved 1 initially, so I write the CS dept. They give me a generic answer stating I can check my shipment any time on there website....that only shows an invoice for 1 firearm. I recieve the second firearm 3 days later and have to pay for a second background check. The firearm is damaged and missing the 2 magazines its advertised with. I emailed the CS MANAGER SUZETTE and she replied with I'm sorry to hear your situation. And now I cant her to reply. Do not go through this company they are trash and there CS doesn't care about you or your business. Spend the extra $20-50 on the same gun somewhere else, and rest easy knowing you dodged a ton of problems working with classic firearms.

My situation was VERY simular to Katy TX's issues with Classic Firearms. It started when using their pulldon list of Classic Firearms FFL's. When pulling one down selected with yellow bar of approval (as stated on their own site..."If you chose a Preferred Dealer or any other highlighted dealer from our drop-down list when you placed your order, then we already have their license on-file."). My first choice was from an FFL right around the corner from where I lived. Their site would NOT let me select that one or any other FFL in my area. Finally, just to see if site was even working, I selected one in the next town over. It was excepted. I attempted to go nack and change FFL's back to the orriginal one I wanted and the site would not allow me to. The next day, I attempted to call and was hung up on over 30 minutes on hold. Later, the FFL that I was stuck selecting called to let me know that he was not that kind of FFL and that he was going to have to return my order of 2 weapons. The next morning, I called early still waiting over 30 minutes for a Customer service rep. to answer. I told them what happened, was told that once they received weapons back then they would refund my money. The next day, the 14 round magazine (part of the order) arrived at my house. As a courtesy, I attempted to call them to let them know I received the magazine ok and that they did not have to add the cost of that item back to my card I ordered on. I was left on hold for 1 hour and 33 minutes, was "next caller on their waiting list...and suddenly, the phone went dead...AGAIN! Now I am concerned about my refund for the other 2 items after reading several other customer experiences similar to my own. Customer service is obviously NOT a high priority with Classic Firearms like it once was just 4 years ago. Buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't know about their ammo, but the seller is not very sharp. They took a 500 round box of .308, put a sticker with my name on it, and dropped in the mail. Now everybody and their moms know what I bought. If you care about your privacy, look elsewhere. In days or 'red flag' laws they have no idea what that is. Unreal!

I'm not the kind of person who complains much. I understand bad things happen sometimes. But my experience with classic firearms is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I've made 3 purchases from classic firearms. The first one went fine. The second one, they neglected to tell me that the item I ordered was out of stock. After a month of waiting, I reached out to their customer service. They gave me a generic response that didn't address my concern. After reaching out to them again, I finally got a real answer to when I could expect my order. Okay, fine. I finally got my order nearly three months later. Recently I made another order that got lost in shipping. The tracking says delivered, but no where to be found. I reached out to their customer service again, and despite having purchased package insurance, they won't do anything about it. I'll reiterate that I'm understanding that sometimes things happen. What bothers me about classic firearms is their lack of any concern with trying to address customer complaints. Not only did they not do anything to fix the problems, they don't even pretend to care or make an effort to fix it. They will never get another dime from me and I would advise everyone to take their business elsewhere.

I ordered a Mdl 81 Beretta pistol from Classic Firearms on February 3, 2020. Note the following quote from Classic Firearms' purchase confirmation of my order "If you chose a Preferred Dealer or any other highlighted dealer from our drop-down list when you placed your order, then we already have their license on-file." My choice of an FFL dealer was then approved by Classic Firearms. However, although the FFL dealer I selected had notified Classic Firearms that they no longer held an FFL in May of 2019, Classic Firearms continued to identify that selected FFL as an appropriate choice. In my order placed on February 3, 2020, Classic Firearms not only included my selected FFL dealer on their internal list but also verbally approved that selection, even though that dealer had notified Classic Firearms 8 months prior to my purchase that they were no longer a licensed FFL dealer. Subsequently, the pistol that I purchased was sent to a non-FFL dealer, was thence returned to Classic Firearms (which return has not been acknowledged by Classic Firearms at this time), and has resulted in no refund of the purchase price plus a shipping and restocking fee. Basically, Classic Firearms abdicated their responsibility to be a reputable firearms vendor by not providing a guaranteed assurance that the FFL dealer which I selected and which Classic Firearms approved actually possessed a valid FFL and that there would be no mishandling of my purchase and would enable the appropriate delivery of that firearm. At this time, conversations with the representatives of Classic Firearms has resulted in the statement that my circumstance is not their problem. My recommendation to any potential purchaser of goods from Classic Firearms is that the purchaser should carefully weigh his or her options and determine if any cost savings that might be obtained from buying from Classic Firearms is worth the good chance that the firearm purchased will not be delivered as promised.

I ordered a Beretta Mdl 81 from Classic Firearms on February 4th. In my Classic Firearms' order confirmation, the following was noted: "If you chose a Preferred Dealer or any other highlighted dealer from our drop-down list when you placed your order, then we already have their license on-file." That was confirmed verbally with the sales agent for Classic Firearms prior to ordering my Mdl 81 and specifically for the FFL I had chosen. Unfortunately, the FFL I had selected had notified Classic Firearms about 6 months earlier that they no longer were an FFL; however, Classic Firearms neglected to update their files. Needless to say, the pistol was delivered to the address that Classic Firearms had approved, was then immediately refused by the non-FFL dealer, sent back to Classic Firearms, and subsequently has not been verified as returned by Classic Firearms ... add to that the additional return shipping and restocking fee that Classic Firearms wants to charge and you have a very poor showing on the part of Classic Firearms and a very black mark on an otherwise reputable firearms vendor. I spoke to the representative of Classic Firearms about this issue and was told that it was my problem that the FFL was no longer active. True, it is my problem now but a problem that Classic Firearms promulgated. Given this recent history, and although I believe that Classic Firearms is a reputable dealer, I would no longer recommend that anyone order from Classic Firearms.

I ordered a bond arms derringer with a driving holster& 2 barrels 44/410 & 38/357 I received the 45/410. I did not receive the 38/357 or the driving holster. They offered to accept a return. But I was told I would have to eat the cost for the FFL fee & the background check .They said they would not honor would was represented on their site. They further informed me that they would not exchange the 410 for a 357 barrel.

I bought a Romania PSL that got recalled. I shipped the weapon back, it arrived Monday, credit was supposed to have been issued Tuesday, here we are Friday and I have not been paid back yet. These people are scoundrels. Do business with these people at your own peril.

Terrible customer service, chose their preferred dealer and can not get the purchase, call back or email and Classic firearm customer service only response is we should of chose a different classic firearm dealer. So I guess no worries of who hands the gun will end in as they got their money and no help. Guess this is just another reason to not buy firearms on the internet just buy local.

Unethical and out to overcharge...several weeks went by without any care to resolve my complaints. I finally posted a negative Google review. 1 day after this review the Cust Svc Manager contacted me with what amounted to a 10% refund, partially in store credit. Within a couple of weeks I placed and paid another order to test our new resolution and utilize my store credit, along with a credit card. Two weeks later I had not received my order so their Cust Svc dept was contacted to determine when the shipment would arrive. I was told a 3rd party verification team did not release the order and they will not contact me with updates, but i could cancel the order. I emailed the Cust Svc Manager with an inquiry about the issue, indicating my intent to remove the previous review once my order and credit was fulfilled with this order. No reply was received but a day later my credit card was credited, EXCEPT for my previous store credit. They kept that. I called directly again and the Cust Svc Manager informed me my account was flagged and frozen after my first review and they would not do business with me any longer. Bottom line, they did not honor their first resolution, never intended to and punished me for posting a negative review due to lack of communication or care. They attempted to have me remove the review before they honored their promises. Had they completed my next order and honored their promises, the review would have been removed and problem solved. Please avoid this firm...there are many other places to do business.

Bought a Beretta Mod 81 with their "Hand Select" ad-on ($20). Received a pistol missing a grip screw and bushing. Customer service credited me $10 and gave me a link to GPC. GPC had screw and no bushing. Finally went to EBay and spent $36.72 to get bushings/screws from Turkey (only sold it packs of four). Suddenly, after I made my views known in social media, Classic announces that they are sending me the replacement parts. Their Customer Service Head calls me and says "he regrets communication mixup". I've done 2k in business with these people. Never again.
