“It has been easy to purchase and repair wall plate clocks. I had two broken 30-year-old electric clocks, I replaced the mechanisms but the original hands didn't press fit onto the new clock mechanism. The original hands had a smaller diameter than the new clock shaft. I had to trim the aluminium hands to the correct length with some sharp diagonal/side cutter pliers. I later purchased & fitted the new hands and now both clocks working and keeping good time. So when replacing some 30-year-old clock mechanisms, I suggest buying the press fit kit with the hands etc.”

“Great service and advise”

“My son made us a timber clock when he was 17 almost 20 years ago. That clock means a lot to us. I rang the Clock shop to get advice on what hands match what mechanism. The young lady I spoke to could not have been more helpful. Parts fitted and our clock is back in working order again and I am beyond happy. Thank you so much, we could not source what we needed here in Sydney. FANTASTIC.”

“My wife and I were at the clock shop 20 years ago, not much has changed and that's a good thing. A great little place with all sorts of clocks and happy to see it's still in the family, well done guys.”

“I watched online, the video which was presented by Daniel. "I can do that," I said and ordered the parts. They arrived within a week and now my clock is up on the wall and ticking away merrily. Thanks, Montville Clock Shop. Di O'Mara”
