As well as clocks, there is a fabulous range of German made weather instruments, barometers and weather houses, German souvenirs, beer steins, European Christmas decorations including nutcrackers, smoking men and Christmas pyramids.

“I purchased my clock online, the CLOCKSHOP website was easy to navigate and the online shopping process was very simple. I needed a clock with a retro vibe as we are renovating our 1950's style kitchen and the STELLA SILVER STARBURST clock is absolutely perfect and completely hit the decor brief. I had been searching the interent for a clock of this style and was finding only overpriced clocks from overseas, I could not believe that I found the perfect, well priced clock in Montville QLD! If I have one negative comment about the clock it's that the hands are not black but silver so it can be difficult to see the time from a distance however this is a minor issue as the overall asthetic of the clock is stunning. The clock arrived quickly from Montville to our home at Macleay Island and was package with care. I can highly recommend this business and if I require another clock this store will be my first stop.”

“What felt like a daunting task of replacing 2 different movements for very old clocks, was pretty simple with the great info on this site. Once I received the new movements, I had them back on the wall and ticking within no time! Felt really good to DIY it. A great business I would highly recommend!”

“I purchased a Takane mechanism and hands to go in an old clock that was losing time badly. Easy to install and not keeps time very well. I have another clock with the same mechanism and it has long kept good time, so I'm happy to recommend this mechanism. Clock Shop shipped the parts quickly and their website is very helpful.”

“The quality of the pendulum was so poor I was shocked. It was tinny, light weight metal and the bar was next to useless. Both went into the trash straight away.”

Hi Brendan, Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you are shocked by the quality of the pendulum you purchased. If this was a replacement for an older, brass pendulum that is made from heavier material then I understand a comparison may reflect a significant difference in quality however this is an economy pendulum that is sold with many of our battery operated pendulum movements and the weight is important for the operation of these clocks. We can source other heavier and better quality pendulums from our clock manufacturers in Germany however you these won't cost less than the price of a burger. The price you paid is reflected in the product you received. If you want better quality, it will simply cost more. Our happiness guarantee provides assurance that if you're not happy with the product then you can return it for a refund.
