“You're advertising that prices are down, particularly minced meat at $11.00 per kilo. However as a single pensioner, I only wanted half a kilo but it was $9.00 for 1/2 a kilo. How can you justify that? Half of $11 is $5.50. I did not buy any meat from you. I can get it from the butcher for a cheaper price!!”
“In the past week I have had three items scan twice at the check out. It appears they have a fault with their scanner. Not only do Coles ask customers to scan their own groceries, while reducing their staffing numbers, but appear to have installed faulty equipment to overcharge customers. I will greatly reduce my patronage to Coles now”
“You people.... looking at profits only.
Price rise...all the products.
Increase price first and then 50%off.
Just like an Indian giver.
Bad Bad Bad....we know what you doing...”
“The pricing on the Coles website was incorrect after midnight this morning and as such I made a purchase from this retailer on the basis that the advertised price for the goods was the actual price. Long story short a purchase that initially cost $56.80 (roughly) at 1:26am on 30/08/23, changed to $112.35 by 4pm that afternoon. I did not collect the goods and contacted the Customer Care department once I realised that the advertised discount had been removed from the total of my online order. Given that I would not have purchased the product at the real, unadvertised price, I explained what had occurred and requested a full refund. Not only was my request denied but to add further insult to injury I have been repeatedly accused by the Coles Customer Care Rep of having modified my order after the fact, I have repeatedly advised that I did NOT at any time modify my order and simply wanted a refund, my verbal request to the Coles customer care center was declined. I was told they could not help me.
I would strongly advise against purchasing from this retailor online, not only are they unable to advertise the applicable prices in real time in this technological era but they also refuse to assist to remedy the issue. Please understand that Coles expects that their Customers are across all of their promotions and policies and that their policy is that all accountability in this type of situation lays with the Customer.
Will never shop with this retailor again after this experience, their response is absolutely appalling.”
“Why do you keep employing so many Indians? They are always rude, ignorant and unhelpful, and shouldn't be allowed to talk in their own language on the shop floor. There are plenty of Australian-born people who need a job. It's anti-Australian and prejudice. Just total virtue signalling.”
“You bunch of Thieves.
Advertising on television that you're keeping prices down.. yet look what you're doing to the people who have dogs.
PUTTING UP OPTIMUM DOG FOOD FROM $59 to $91 in one whack!.
EVERYWHERE ELSE,
petcircle $53 for 15 kilo
Petbarn $53 for 15 kilo
Amazon. $43 for 15 kilo
***COLES, $91...FOR $15 KILO ***!!!
YOU CANNOT JUSTIFY THIS..
DONT EVEN TRY !!!
Store Location: ALL STORES !!!”
“Coles mt druitt is a disgrace my daughter bought this baby food from there a few days later gives it to her baby 12 months out of date lucky she checked could have made her very sick should have just called the health department with the rats in there as well all coles offer is a $5 credit which is a insult staff are lazy food was a rafferty pouch”
“I have been a Coles customer for over 10 years.
I have ordered for online delivery, Boston Buns and Cinnamon Buns.
Regardless of quantity ordered I have NEVER in 10 years had Coles deliver either, always out of stock, each and every day of the week.
I feel that COLES is treating me like an idiot.”
“I went to coles Newstead Launceston today and purchased a primo short cut bacon pack.
It had a sale sign if front of the packs half price $7.25. I got charged $18.90 when I call the store they checked the ticket and said that it was for the 750 gram which was half price not the 1 kg. I replied with there were only those packs there with a sale sign in front of them and she replied well it looks like they have just filled it up. I said that’s false advertising and you should have taken the sign down if there were no 750g packs left because they look identical. The store manager said there was nothing he could do for me I couldn’t return the product because of store policy. I want to know if it’s store policy tricking people into spending more money??? I will never shop there again 😞 I can’t believe I have shares in your company”
“I have been spending up to $800 per month with Coles. I received an email that states at the top my name and here's $25 off when you spend $100.I placed an order yesterday total cost $400 plus and did not receive the $25 off I rang and spoke to customer service and the guy said it will come off when you receive your invoice. Order came today and no $25 off rang Coles and they said I wasn't entitled to the discount and its in the terms and conditions that it only apply's to Unilever products. What a joke I had to scroll to the very end of the email and in very fine print it was mentioned. SHAME on you Coles misleading and GOODBYE My $800 per month will never cross your online service again Supervisor would not even come to the phone.”
“This week's debacle - Coles failed to deliver my shopping as they say they were not able to process my payment when the bank statement shows that payment was received and then returned at Coles initiative according to the back whom I believe is telling the truth - even if they now could process the payment they cannot deliver on the same day - no grocery this week from Coles. Last delivery they placed my goods on the ground when there was specific instruction in writing to place my deliveries on a trolley just inside the door. These people are hopeless, I will sell my Coles shares.”
“I went to Coles Parkhill
Not a single cashier
I see no good reason to scan and pack my groceries.
It’s getting worse
I have a bad heart and came home furious with Coles having the lack of staff.
Im going to have to find somewhere else to shop..
Terrible experience”
“Every time I use a delivery partner, the frozen items are left at the store. I had to ring three times over six hours, and was given the same BS that it would be delivered soon. Ended up asking for a refund. No accountability from Coles or DoorDash – “that’s all they gave me.” How about teaching your staff some initiative? Coles - you’ve lost a subscriber and customer.”
“I am glad I live close to this Beechboro Coles WA supermarket store, because almost every week I shop there I get robbed on some items. Today I got Turkish bread that was reduced but again I was charged full price which I forgot to check while there. It is embarrassing to line up and have to say the same story repeatedly. Shoppers check your dockets because I do not believe that I am the only one this happens to. On some items there is potential amount of money lost.”
“Multiple times Springvale coles wasted my time closing 1 hr early when advertising trading hours, never again i am pressed for time as i work for a living . How do i bill them for it . As the executive s would. I pay your bonuses as a customer, ALDI for my family’s grocery”
“I have spent over $500 with Coles online and I ordered 2 pkts of coles mushrooms they arrived today after 7pm and the expiry date is the 24/12
I rang and they sent me a link to speak with an agent via chat first one dropped out and second agent informed me that you only get a 2 day expiry on items but puzzled these would have been marked down in store it appears all online orders get the rubbish sent to them
Wake up Coles get some customer service people and show then how to answer a call I’m done with their nonsense 😡😡😡”
“Ordered Boston bun which couldn't be supplied replaced by another product which was nothing like a Boston bun. Don't know what these pickers are thinking (are they thinking) but if you can't give me what I ordered Don't pick for me”
“Love the Souvlaki Chicken Strips, however didnt read the warning about the bones. After buying this product regularly and never seeing a bone, today I unfortunately included a large bone in a wrap which was a choking hazard. Please be careful as I wasnt.”
“Coles customer service now informs customers they can no longer request a product to be brought back. This level of service shows customers they mean nothing to Coles and is a very poor reflection on company performance suffering under bad management.”
