Your staff are awesome but corporate are the scourge of the earth. I am guessing with record profits they get huge bonuses under guise of investors returns. They don't care about us customers, we are a means to an end...the end of which is their individual income pushing up well and truly over 6-7 figures. Look at how low you pay the front line employees, the ones who actually do the work (unlike you lot), how are they supposed to pay rent and feed themselves. Oh that's right, you lot do not care do you because you think a pathetic discount makes up for it. It's absolutely disgraceful when prices have double on almost everything while inflation has decreased and your profit margins increase. I call it profiteering.... don't blame your suppliers or the cost or the cost of transport. Have some transparency and accountability. Transport is tax deductible, so are wages and losses plus the company has an extremely low tax rate compared to us customers. An inquiry may find you lot profiteering but we all know nothing will come of it because you lot have a monopoly on the food market. And as we have seen before with fuel prices nothing gets done. So I am now boycotting your shops and will go to the independent shops. I hope all Australian do so that your profits plummet, forcing the company to reduce prices to what they should be.

Online ordering system is a joke, it says on the customers end the order is there but when you speak to so called customer service they say they cannot find it. They then will not attempt to deliver it and say it was my fault when clearly it is listed on my order page as a active order. Way of compensation is a big 20 dollars and a very very insincere apology, if you can call it that. Arrogant and rude staff who really do not care, must be good to be big business and be supported by the government so you are not accountable for anything.

Not fresh A lot Not available, then why could I order? Especially as what was missing was the reason I chose this option. When I look at my total order I am dissapointed at how little costs so much. Unreliable always.

Coles customer care is non existent ,you get to speak to an idiot on the phone who has no intention of helping you .I done an order online and it wouldn’t process because the site crashed .I done another order that worked. Then I’m informed 2 orders are coming .Their solution take the goods back to Cole’s to whom do I take it too .Then call them back and we may refund you .im sure Coles are going to take back lettuce ,tomatoes perishables back .i am never going to get Coles shopping again.Another customer going to Woolworths .How much has that cost the company.religiously shopped every week there .I will lodge with consumer rights on this .now Cole’s can shove it up there ass !!!! look at your review status you morons .Consumer support staff can hear at home being complete muppets .good bye and f##k off .

I have been shopping at coles for over 20 years but that has now changed. My online order was canceled at no fault of my own. Instead of organising a redelivery like I requested. I was forced into a refund… that was on Wednesday, today is Sunday. I am still with out my money and am unable to do a food shop to feed my children. I have reached out to coles on many occasions and was told someone would be in touch and yet nothing. Customers beware & avoid coles. This is a regular occurrence.

Took my money for my online order, then on the day the order is supposed to be delivered, CANCEL the order and say they aren't going to deliver it?!!!! Online customer service just gave standard template responses and offered no resolution to keep a long time customer happy. Will never do my online shopping with Coles again, will stick to Woolworths. Woolworths would never do this to their customers.

The mince meat is usually off a number of days before the use by date. Customer service now is dreadful also. Unhelpful, arrogant manager who rejected the return of a Coles Branded product without a receipt. The customer service representative on the complaints hotline advised me that I should have been provided a refund or exchange when it was returned to the store and provided me with a Reference No. to get an exchange - when visiting the store again, I was advised the reference number was not relevant. Coles have lost the plot on customer service. My last spend at Coles Tooronga.

Small muffins in cellophane, a good cheap snack for mums and kids on the move, was $1, now $1.75 - not worth it, and a 75% markup. WTF?? 12 items or less checkout now mostly blocked, rarely manned. Wait til a smoker shows up before staff arrive. This is to encourage customers to use the hated self serve.

Coles delivered today, and again sent expired food, I went off them for a bit anyway from this issue giving them a chance, but now gone with Woolworth as never had this issue, this happens a lot I highly recommend anyone not to buy from coles, you pay high prices and get expired food, waste of money. Had to share as don’t want other families to go through this.

The meat in coles across the country is filthy. It’s disgusting to look at and the most unappetising presentation. This is all in the aide of cost cutting and extreme profiting. On top of this, 25c a paper bag (smaller than the previous plastic bag)and your advertising that you are keeping costs down whilst price ripping people off.

Check reviews before applying for work with this chain! After going through the LENGTHY process of applying for a simple pick/pack job, last thing to do was a medical check which was booked for next day. Next morning, to my disgust, a coles supervisor cancelled my medical & sent an email to tell me i was not successful for the position, due to my asking (was there somewhere closer I could go to have the medical done as the drive would take an hour 1 way) to which the response was no, i politely thanked the person & hung up. It was just a question which obviously made her feel as though her superiority had been attacked. The things people do for power! That being said, I'm so glad the planets aligned on this one & I'd say, there have most likely been many others that have had their time wasted.

In the past week I have had three items scan twice at the check out. It appears they have a fault with their scanner. Not only do Coles ask customers to scan their own groceries, while reducing their staffing numbers, but appear to have installed faulty equipment to overcharge customers. I will greatly reduce my patronage to Coles now

The pricing on the Coles website was incorrect after midnight this morning and as such I made a purchase from this retailer on the basis that the advertised price for the goods was the actual price. Long story short a purchase that initially cost $56.80 (roughly) at 1:26am on 30/08/23, changed to $112.35 by 4pm that afternoon. I did not collect the goods and contacted the Customer Care department once I realised that the advertised discount had been removed from the total of my online order. Given that I would not have purchased the product at the real, unadvertised price, I explained what had occurred and requested a full refund. Not only was my request denied but to add further insult to injury I have been repeatedly accused by the Coles Customer Care Rep of having modified my order after the fact, I have repeatedly advised that I did NOT at any time modify my order and simply wanted a refund, my verbal request to the Coles customer care center was declined. I was told they could not help me. I would strongly advise against purchasing from this retailor online, not only are they unable to advertise the applicable prices in real time in this technological era but they also refuse to assist to remedy the issue. Please understand that Coles expects that their Customers are across all of their promotions and policies and that their policy is that all accountability in this type of situation lays with the Customer. Will never shop with this retailor again after this experience, their response is absolutely appalling.

Why do you keep employing so many Indians? They are always rude, ignorant and unhelpful, and shouldn't be allowed to talk in their own language on the shop floor. There are plenty of Australian-born people who need a job. It's anti-Australian and prejudice. Just total virtue signalling.

I have been a Coles customer for over 10 years. I have ordered for online delivery, Boston Buns and Cinnamon Buns. Regardless of quantity ordered I have NEVER in 10 years had Coles deliver either, always out of stock, each and every day of the week. I feel that COLES is treating me like an idiot.

I went to coles Newstead Launceston today and purchased a primo short cut bacon pack. It had a sale sign if front of the packs half price $7.25. I got charged $18.90 when I call the store they checked the ticket and said that it was for the 750 gram which was half price not the 1 kg. I replied with there were only those packs there with a sale sign in front of them and she replied well it looks like they have just filled it up. I said that’s false advertising and you should have taken the sign down if there were no 750g packs left because they look identical. The store manager said there was nothing he could do for me I couldn’t return the product because of store policy. I want to know if it’s store policy tricking people into spending more money??? I will never shop there again 😞 I can’t believe I have shares in your company
