“A few weeks ago, our Company gave CorteClean Composite Cleaner a 5 star review. and said we'd be back-after using CorteClean on a deck "in much worse shape"... The Deck: TimberTech Composite Decking & Railing system-installed 2011*-in Cedar Embedded mold throughout. Extreme fading. Freakishly accelerated mildew growth. We thought this deck was minimum 10 years old-when we first saw it-in 2014. *Apparently 2011 was a very bad year for this product line-but so much worse for those who purchased....TimberTech refused our customers claim because she'd mentioned the word "mildew"... Time in: Deck Surface: 4 applications-approx. 3 hours including prep. Railing System*/multiple sections: approx. 1.5 *verticals are tough/but mold wasn't as prevalent as on the boards the Results: Nothing short of Amazing our customer was so happy-she cried! Synopsis: Whether you've neglected cleaning your composite deck, or were disappointed after using other products/methods, OR have a newer deck and want to keep it looking great, CorteClean Composite Cleaner really is the one-and only one- to use. Professional advise: if your gonna do it- Do it Right! Serious deck cleaning and maintenance isn't for everyone. If you don't own the proper equipment and/or aren't up to a couple/few hours working in the hot sun-hire someone to do it for you.”

“This is the 3rd year that I am using it & it does a great job of cleaning up the black mold here in central NJ. In heavily molded areas, it does not totally remove the mold but it definitely makes it much lighter. You must follow the directions and do 10 sq. ft. at a time. I buy it directly from the manufacturer because it is fresh. I never used another product. It is not cheap but reasonable for the price. I do it in the Spring and Fall, just like they recommend. I have called them a few times and they were very helpful and courteous. I will continue to use the product.”

“This stuff is like a miracle cleaner. It lifts out stains from the BBQ, animals, greasy shoes, everything. It makes the Trex deck look new again. Spray it on and it starts to bubble away the filth. Rinse and walla a new deck. And it doesn't damage anything. No bleach spots, nothing. Expensive, but worth it.”

“Works just as promised. First application Cleaned all the deep stains, and now I simply maintain the deck spring and fall with. A quick spray of diluted product and rinse. Looks great and didn't harm the plants or the metal siding either!”

“A friend of mine recommended this. I was a bit sceptic as our Trex deck was pretty worn and dirty. Extreme sun and winter had taken a toll on the deck. After the first application I was amazed how well it looked. Just be sure to wash everything down as I was applying it to our upper deck and didn't wash off the underside of the deck. I had to come back and wash the underside after I noticed the I had white streaks running down under the deck. No problem though. I ended up purchasing two more packages for future use.”

“I use this product in several geographic areas. It works great! There are different nuances to the cleaning process that is learned over time. Early morning sun works best for me in the northeast. In SW Florida late fall is best as the product doesn't dry out as fast. If applying in full sun during normal hours, I need to do very small areas at a time or the product doesn't get a chance to work on dirtier parts of the deck. Also, gliding a medium bristle deck cleaning broom lightly over heavier stained areas makes it much easier to hose off. The two biggest issues my friends have is spraying large areas at once and letting product sit for to long without watching for dried out areas or dirty color. However, the best advice I can share is doing two lighter cleanings instead of one 2 hour event. This has saved me hours of time and allows the rain to help clean my decks during the year. Other product simply don't work as well on my costly composite decks.”

“The product worked fabulously...better and easier than I had anticipated. It's easy to mix and works quickly on the areas that need treatment. It will last for quite some time so it is well worth the money. And my deck looks brand new. I was careful when researching which products would be safe for my deck and this was the one... I have not used anything else. My deck is only 2 years old so will not need to try any other product.”

“Wonderful product. I have a 8 year old 16' x 22' composite deck. I had some black mold spots in an area that was shaded by the house. I first used an electric pressure washer very gently (not blasting it) so not to damage the composite. It helped, but the black mold spots quickly returned. I purchased 6 bags of Corte Clean. I only used 3 bags to do the job. This stuff really works. Very happy. The bags have an expiration date. I have not used the other 3 bags yet. I'll see what happens when I use it this year. Did the job 2 years ago.”

Thank you for the amazing review! Corte CLean does not have an "expiration date", but rather a "Best IF used By: date". Corte LLC only provides a "Guarantee & Limited Warranty" till this date. We don't suggest buying more than you will use in 3 to 6 months, from our website or right away from a retailer, as this date is 1 year from the manufacturer date. Corte Clean looses strength and will not likely remove difficult to remove stains, such as those caused by common Black Mold, Grease & Oil, Rust & Tannin, etc. If it has been "2 years" since you purchased it, it likely won't do the job and you will need new fresh Corte Clean. As you likely know, Corte CLean is designed to be used proactively, "At least twice yearly, Spring & Fall, or when stains appear" as its label directions state. Are you aware that most composite manufacturers recommend the same? Proactively using Corte Clean is this fashion will generally have you spending approximately 2/3rds less time and approximately 12/ the money or less. Failure to use Corte Clean allows mold roots to deeply root into composites and other stians to deeply saturate, costing more time and money to thoroughly clean due to the need to repeat the application process to a properly prepped thoroughly dry composite surface at maximum strength. “Great product in that it goes beyond simple pressure washing to provide a uniform, unblemished look. A minor inconvenience is the need to cover the glass and rinse the siding below our deck to prevent white residue/spotting.”

“I spray lightly with the product in the fall and allow to stay on , not washing it off, over the winter--Wisconsin. In spring my deck is good to go. I have done this twice now. I like the product.”
