“Excellent , the goose was delicious, and most importantly it was an organic bird so I was confident it had had the best welfare during its life Sausages in bacon were too salty, so will not have those again”

“A lovely business to deal with. Very friendly when discussing a change to my order. All the meat that I ordered was absolutely top quality and completely delicious. “Amazing piece of beef, 2.5kg rib on the bone, the cooking instructions were spot on, never had such a tender cut, still licking my lips, served 5 adults and 3 under 10's with enough left over for a curry the following day, oooh yehhhh”

“The delivery arrangements for my turkey were excellent. Being given an hour's time-slot is perfect - and it was delivered during that slot. The packaging was amazing (thanks Paula?) and the bird was still well-chilled on arrival. The turkey itself was absolutely delicious. Contrary to some advice, I stuffed the interior with a superb chestnut stuffing, and put another type in the breast/neck area. Thus the bird was beautifully moist (and the chestnut stuffing didn't dominate at all). Christmas must have been hectic for you.... Have a good rest and a Happy New Year. “I was thrilled with my turkey. It was so well packed. I unpacked it on Xmas day and it was still cold inside. The label said goose but it was a fabulous succulent turkey. I would definitely order another”

“I cook a turkey every year, and this definitely was the best! I have previously bought organic turkeys, and paid more when they were less common. Everyone was complimentary about our Coombe turkey. I didn't stuff the cavity, except with herbs and onions and the flavour was delicious, the meat was moist and I have made soup with the carcass. I really liked the wool packaging because I will use it too, and the re-freezable ice packs. I have already recommended it to friends. So pleased!”

“It would have been helpful if you had specified 'bone in', as I'm used to rolled loin. While I accept that I should have noticed, and where joints had been boned that was stated, it wasn't enough for everyone at the meal as I had done my calculation based on 2kg of meat,and I had to get another joint. Hi Penny, Thanks for the feedback on this. We have now amended the site to show the the cut is indeed on the bone. We will also look into providing customers with a boned and rolled loin of pork in the future. I hope the meat was enjoyable. Best wishes, Coombe Farm Organic

“Very high quality bird. Came with quite a few feather foliciles still, which at first was a great sign of freshness but was a pain to remove them all. Delivered in secure and temperature controlled packaging. Will definitely buy again. Pic has a lot of stuffing under the skin so looks swollen.”
