“Delicious, tasty, tender meat. My husband and I have been thrilled with all of our purchases of steaks, stewing meat, mince and roasts. The customer service has also been good, when my delivery was going to be delayed by a day, someone phoned me to let me know what was happening and why.”

“As yet the product remains untasted as it only arrived 3 days ago. it all looks very good and the delivery was as promised, ordered Monday delivered midday Tuesday and we are looking forward to tasting it. The ladies at Dartmouth Food Festival, were very personable and gave a good customer service.”

“Hi Everyone, I ordered the Lamb Box and I would say that the quality of the Lamb steaks was excellent. We made a Lamb Kleftiko and the meet came out tender and full of flavor. Will be ordering again!”

“Sadly I was a little disappointed. Not in he quality of the meat because I haven't tried it yet & the samples I tried at the Dartmouth FOod Fayre were delicious. However, I didn't receive a text or email as to when the order would arrive so wasn't able to warn my husband that it was expected and what he had to do with it as I was out for the whole day. I don't know what time it arrived but he found it in our unlocked porch as I had requested and put it in he kitchen until I arrived home. At his point I quickly put it Into the freezer but the meat was beginning to thaw out at the edges. I still took the risk and hope it will be ok when I am ready to use it. It was beautifully packaged but the cost of doing that must push the price up considerably and leaves me wondering whether I wouldn't be better to buy good quality fresh unfrozen meat when I am ready to do so rather than buying it using this method and risking the possibility of it thawing out as well as being left with packaging waste I don't want.”

We’re so sorry to hear of your disappointment, particularly after trying our delicious samples at the Dartmouth Food Fayre. We really appreciate you taking the time to let us know of your experience. We have tried to make it clear on our website and order confirmation process when you will receive your delivery (we send an email when orders are despatched). However, we appreciate that there is more we can do to ensure you know when it will arrive and will work on this in the coming weeks. Regarding the packaging, thanks for the compliment, we agree that it is very striking! More importantly, it is a fantastic system for keeping our meat at the perfect temperature during transit. It is also as sustainable as possible - every element of the packaging is recyclable or reusable. We can personally assure you that whilst our packaging is slightly more expensive compared to the polystyrene alternatives, we do not add a premium to our products to counter that. We hope this experience hasn’t put you off our service and hope to serve you again.

“I placed my first order after a tasting at the Dartmouth Food Festival. On the whole I was very pleased with the order. Arrived 'next day' as promised, and early in the morning (not pm). Order was boxed, wrapped & insulated and there was no detoriation in its condition. This order was a trial in my part and was very pleased with it. The meat is delicious - some of the best beef I have ever tasted. The mince and steak strips in particular and I have the stock bones simmering at the moment! My one disappointment was in the lamb shank. From the description on the website I presumed I would be getting two shanks (I think the description said enough for two persons), but what turned up was one shank with a very large bone, so will give those a miss next time. Overall, I love the meat, particularly the beef and will definitely order again.”
