I am disappointed with service because my delivery arrived damaged and defrosted and I sent an email concerning this problem on the date of delivery and received no response last week, not even a holding response telling me you would get back to me.

I did not receive the original order which was held up in a DPD depot and I received a full refund. I have ordered the same amount of venison and I am hoping it gets delivered this Friday 16th December when it is due! I will provide a review hopefully after this latest delivery 🚚

Disappointed with the gammon steak the way it's been cut, it's almost like they can't be bothered. It's not at all what I expected compared to what it shown in your online display. Very disappointed!!

This time I received a completely different quality of mince. It was nowhere near the product that I received with my first order. Basically, it's a brown pulp ground into a mush with no texture at all. It doesn't even look like ground beef...Also with previous orders, the 500g pack was giving me 4 massive patties from my burger form and now it's 3 and a half...Doesn't taste like the beef I ordered before. It looks more like tuna flakes than beef Disappointed.

I am a wheelchair user with MS in a Nursing Home at the young age of 64. I am trying the Wahle's diet for MS which requires organic meat. I have been directed to you by someone who orders your food, Deborah Vickers in Sheffield.

My first experience was really disappointing. Did not arrive on the day it was supposed to, and as the next few days were NYD and BH’s I was unable to source what I required elsewhere for a dinner I had planned. As the items wouldn’t have been edible by the time they arrived, I was advised a new box would be sent after the bank holiday. I then received a further email explaining certain items were out of stock and would be replaced. I was not given the option to chose what J would prefer but told what the alternative items were. I emailed to explain the alternatives were not what I wanted and weren’t suitable. Again I was not given the option to select what my preference would be. I instructed to cancel the order, to which the relay was just ‘ok’. No offer to remedy the problem or any offer to retain my custom. I regularly use another well known online organic farm and this was my first time ordering from Coombe. Really disappointing experience.

Your first box was unfortunately damaged by our courier so could not be delivered due to the nature of our goods being perishable. When we went to resend out your box, a couple of the items were unavailable. Our email to you was meant to offer suggested alternatives, rather than be a directive for what you could or could not have, we would have been open to any suggestions you had. Ultimately when a customer requests a refund instead of a resend of product, we aim to respond to the customer's wishes rather than trying to persuade you to take products you don't want. Although the website is so, so promising - I was disappointed about the meat. It was so fat. Even the broth bones were so fat, there was simply too much fat and skin attached so that the broth was too fat to eat. I also ordered lamb pieces and even these were full with fat through and through. I got more fat than meat. I think it’s just too expensive to get fat delivered. I think the Waitrose organic sortiment is much better. It’s actually sad because I was planning to order on a weekly basis.

We strive to be transparent about the amount of fat on certain cuts, as we believe that the right amount adds extra flavour and keeps the meat moist during cooking. Our diced lamb image clearly shows the fat on the meat and is described also in the product description as this is intended for slow cooks where fat plays an important role in the cooking and flavour. We do have lots of naturally leaner options available, such as venison, chicken and turkey so that our customers have a balanced mix of cuts to choose from. Slightly disappointed that the meat arrived frozen thought it was going to be fresh. Also the burgers, sausages and bacon had started to defrost so couldn’t put in the freezer.

So far we have eaten only one item from our order - the gammon. We were so disappointed to find it terribly salty, despite an hour of boiling as directed, and for it to have just a strong and coarse flavour of smoke and pork scratchings. We found it most unpleasant and put it in the bin. I am hoping for better things of the two beef joints I ordered.
