“Ordered a shoulder of lamb for Easter Sunday dinner. My 90 year old mum had been saying how meat doesn’t taste like it did when she was younger, I also ordered lamb chunks so she could make a curry. Mum was delighted with the taste and said it tasted much more like the meat she used to be able to get. I tried to explain that her meat as a child would have been organic and this is what she was eating again. The 4 stars were because of the shin beef I thought I was ordering for her to make a hot pot. Osso bucco arrived and there was more bone than meat and it wasn’t usable for a hot pot and at £9 for two pieces bearing little meat I thought it was poor value for the money. We were able to get diced shin beef from the local butchers. Overall I would definitely recommend as the meat we did have was very tasty and succulent and anything that makes a 90 year old happy is a winner for me”

“Great quality meat box, good variation. My only complaint is they swapped out lamb mince for a chicken breast, which is not a like for like with what I can cook with it.”

“Most of the raw products are really good. In the last order I bought pork stuffing which nobody enjoyed as it was too dry. We were not fans of the cooked beef stew either.”

“Great service, would definitely order again - some of the portions are much smaller than expected so I wouldn’t reorder those items but the pie, steak, short ribs and sausages I would order again”

“Organisation, delivery great . Usually very happy though this time when I ordered a children’s box was disappointed that my grandson ( user of epipen) complained of a stomach ache & had itchy hands after eating some of your sausages which seemed very peppery ! Just thought I’d highlight this as like to help him by buying organic meat. Usually very satisfied.”

“Lovely to find organic herbs available and with a discount! My meat was tasty and good. Largely i like to by meat in my box so set boxes with added pies don't attract (I am gluten free) FODMAP stocks do attract although I've not bought any yet as I tend to make my own stocks.”
