Blocked payments, security team does not contact you, spend ages contacting them, assurred it is unblocked and will not be blocked again, then they again block the payment without notifying you, contacting you or doing anything a responsible credit card company would do. Absolutely awful, embarrassing, time wasting and I cannot wait for IHG to pair with a better company so I can remove this card from my daily chores.”

“Been in dispute since before Xmas. Have asked for statements with balance after each transaction which they say they cannot do. Over £1000 in retailer credits showing on statements but do not appear to have been deducted! All they say is the credits are there! Thank you but you need to deduct them. Seems like a case for the ombudsman to get my £1000+ back.”
“Could not give zero stars but my goodness. I have a contract with creation and it’s been 3 months, recently they have over drawn money from my account and didn’t pay it back in. Then had the cheek to say it that they never received payments, so charged me £30 extra as a late payment fee. Bear in mind that it’s direct debit. So I contacted creation and told them what was Happening, sent them evidence. They have ignored me for 2 months.”
“Impossible to contact, either by phone or email which they don’t reply to. I bought a product from Curry’s and decided to pay by installments with Creation and a direct debit was set up. They didn’t take the first direct debit and told me I haven’t paid it and the slapped on a £30 charge. I got a letter today, after many emails from them (which you can’t reply to) asking for me to set up a direct debit! Today I paid off the full amount and will never go near them again. Dreadful non-existent customer service!”

“Terrible service / experience.
Purchased a TV from John Lewis and decided to take the 0% option. Approved immediately but the e-agreement link failed.
It failed again from the confirmation email.
It failed again on the website and asked me to ‘come back later’ which I did and it still didn’t work.
I call JL who can’t help and refer me to creation. Creation tell me that it’s a problem my bed because I’m using safari (I’m actually using chrome), it’s then a problem because of my phone, so I try a laptop (it still doesn’t work).
The proposed solution is to send an agreement by post for me to return by post… in 2023…
So I cancelled the order.
This is just amateur and reflects terribly on John Lewis.”
“My mother is currently selling her property and just before exchanging on 9th November we discovered that there was a charge on her property for a card that was paid off in 2008. Creation’s solicitors did not remove the charge with Land Registry in 2008 and 14 years later this is now preventing her from completing on the sale which has resulted in stress not just for her but for her buyer and the chain beneath him and ahead of her. We have been contacting them on a daily basis asking them to remove the charge to no avail. A very helpful lady called Caitlin initially took ownership of the case when she realised the difficulty we were having getting anyone to help us and she managed to get an email sent to is confirming that they have no interest in the charge, however the matter needs to be dealt with by their solicitors directly with Land Registry. They have advised us that though the matter is now with their solicitors it could take up to 6 months for their solicitors to deal with it. This is so incredibly unacceptable. If anyone has had a similar experience please can you advise us how it was dealt with.”
“Took overpayment, by claiming a payment they told me had failed. Complained about it and they left me waiting for weeks. £100 of my money just sitting with them. Funny the don't pay interest!”
“I bought a voucher online and I am charged £5 for handling fee and plus interests on that for the next 2 statements, even though I pay my balance in full by direct debit.
I rang and explained this. I requested to remove it and they said they cannot. I explained that I am not aware that it was being charged as a cash transaction and that the other bank card did not charge me any cash handling fee for the same transaction, they should at least inform and let the customer make a known decision! Another credit card does not charge for it and creation does for the same thing, on top they charge you interest on it for 2 months! Rediculous!”
“Strongly suspect fraud within the company as despite telling them someone was trying to pretend to be me and search for a loan a month or 2 later they allowed a fraudulent loan to go out (it was stopped) and again someone has tried again a hard search for another loan using this company. This is despite me having a cifas on the account and them putting one after the first attempt . I think they need to look more closely at their fraud prevention measures”

“Truly awful customer service and product.
Initially advised Creation that I was going abroad a few weeks ago and was advised to call back again within a few days of leaving the UK to go overseas as allegedly they cannot set my card to be used abroad until within the week prior of going overseas, although other credit card providers have no issues whatsoever doing this action well in advance.
During the second telephone conversation on the same subject, I was informed that there was already a note on my account to state I was going to Poland on 29/09/22 and returning home on 06/10/22, and that I could use my card whilst abroad.
Tried to make a purchase on my outbound flight but unsurprisingly thus was declined. Attempted again to use my card in Gdansk but again the transaction was declined.
Tried again on two occasions this morning to pay dental bill but again each attempt to pay was refused.
Now trying to get through to their work class customer service team (I have now been waiting over 26 minutes for an answer).
For a peaceful and stress-free life, do not use Creation Finance at all.”
“The absolute lowest of the low. I apply using a soft search, this was approved, it then asks you to do a full application for a line of credit to make purchases from Currys. I was then approved with an account number and an online portal to manage and log in to see the line of credit of £1500. So i go to buy an item and go through the laborious process of purchase using this credit to find i am declined!!.. i call them & thats like speaking to mannequins, they tell me to check my file, well i work in FCA line of business so I check my file weekly and there is nothing but “excellent” on everything so thats just a fob off by them, it boils down to i am a property investor buying, selling houses etc so my file is always searched by mortgage lenders but oh no try telling them that and instead all they use is some computer… so i have been encouraged to have a hard search, get offered a line of credit then boom… they turn you down.. seriously do not bother, they are a utter waste of breathing air.”
