“Wrong item sent. Delivery times not good. Waited over a week for delivery”

“Every time I've bought from the company and had to return, I've been bitterly disappointed...their customer service is non existent. Bought an item online July 24th and returned on August 2nd. Received a confirmation email to state the returned item was with them on August 4th and I would get my refund in 7 working days. 8 working days pass and no refund, so I called their customer service line (because no one responds to the WhatsApp OR the tickets I raised via their website) only to be told the item hadn't been received. I confirmed it had and provided the Royal Mail tracking number, only to be told I would need to provide this via an email address they would send me. This email address was NEVER sent and now I have to go through the process of calling them all over again, with the first time I called I waited 42 minutes to speak to someone. And this is all because THEY sent me an XL top as opposed to the medium I ordered...I am paying for THEIR mistake. However...apparently going into store and complaining will get you a bit further. I managed to speak to a Store Manager (shout out to Liam from the Harrogate branch) who contacted customer services directly and sorted the issue within a matter of minutes. Absolutely shouldn't have to do this, but it might be a way forward if you can access a store. I refuse to buy from this absolutely vile company ever again. They're an actual joke.”

“If I could give a 0 I would. Ordered 4 items on 1/8/25 paid express delivery. Wed 6th no status on my order page. 34mins 23 secs to get through to customer service to be told “yes sorry we have had some problems” You’re not kidding. Couldn’t cancel the order but neither could they tell me when I might expect them. Absolutely shocking”

“I am very unhappy with the sizes. I always buy from you in sizes 6, my last order 😢 was horrible, big for sizes 6. I do not like to send things back because the last time I did, I had to beg for my money. Please do not change the quality of your dresses, they were beautiful before and weren't long ago. Only last year, I bought lots in the perfect size. Thank you”

“I received a faulty item and feel very annoyed that a week later the situation has not been resolved. My emails have been answered with we are very busy and will get back to you. This is despite being specific about the problem and sending photos.”

“Ordered an item of clothing for a birthday present, when ordered delivery was 3/5 days collect from store. Order was confirmed by email, a few days later I received an email advising that my order was on the way. 7 days later I received another email advising my order was on the way. 8 days later I received yet another email advising that my order would be delivered between 0845 and 1230 hrs. Later in the day I received yet another email advising that my order would be delivered the following day . 9 days after the order was placed in still waiting !!! We will not be purchasing from Crew Clothing again, very poor service.”

“Terrible customer service. Ordered 3 tshirts in 2 for 3 offer and only recieved 2. (£25 each). They suggested I order another and they would refund me so I did and they only refunded £6.37. Clearly they are incapable of maths and digging heels in. Will not use again. Its not the money that the issue but the shocking customer service.”

“Tried to order three items in their sale but was unable to finalise payment. Three telephone calls plus an email to customer services came to nothing . My order still shows the three items in the bag but I’m unable to finalise payment. Frustrating is underplaying my feelings. All of this despite having ordered and received other items one month ago.”

“Please be cautious when ordering from Crew Clothing. Their customer service is extremely poor - responses take ages, and they offer little help even when you call, likely due to system issues. Additionally, a promotion advertised on their website wasn’t applied correctly to my order, and when I asked about the discrepancy in payment, they failed to investigate or resolve the issue. While the clothing is nice, the customer service is unacceptable!!!”

“Paid £5.95 for next day delivery ordered at 7am as needed a last min gift Items from Barbour and Boots both arrived next day at no extra cost.(ordered same time). Customer service totally ignored all my points and gave incorrect information. Tracking still says it’s in Birmingham. This is not express delivery. Now I have read how long it takes for refunds and cancelled / out of stock orders, I am thinking there are cash flow issues afoot and dread dealing with “Customer services” again. Please just read the reviews and shop somewhere else.”

“As previous reviews have remarked, it is very difficult to get a refund. Returned one out of three items purchased. Received confirmation that Evri had picked it up but when checking tracking there was no apparent further movement. Contacted them, received an acknowledgment of my complaint but received no further information. Phoned and after waiting 15 minutes, instead of speaking to one of their “friendly, helpful staff” I had to leave a message on their iMessage service but gave heard nothing since. Your customer service seems to be none existent. The items I retained are satisfactory but I will not be using Crew Clothing again.”

“It is now nearly February and crew have still not refunded for any returned items purchased even ones which were returned and confirmed received by Crew on the 2nd January. Sadly to say though the clothes I have kept are great, I will be reluctant to purchase from Crew in future and as they have closed the shop near me I can’t return online purchases to store to get an instant refund”

“Wish I could give them 0. Ordered an item. Nothing. I chased up, they told me it wasn't available and was cancelled. They lied. A couple of days later I had a message saying it was put for delivery. I'd already bought elsewhere. Tried customer service they told me I'd just have to lump it, wait for it then return it. Useless. I'm out of pocket in the meantime. Put a complaint in but predictably ignored.”

“If there was an option for 0 stars then I would give it. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I purchased a cardigan on line as a gift but it was too big, I returned it by courier and I have been chasing a refund for weeks, I have been told twice that my refund is being processed yet 3 weeks on I still haven't received a penny. Yesterday they told me I was getting a gift card for £60 as I paid by cheque yet I don't have a cheque book, I paid by credit card and it was £50, you cant ring them as its a permanent recorded message, so you have to just keep emailing and not getting anywhere.”
