“I have asked DCUK a couple of times about why I cannot buy the wedding ducks for same sex couples. I was fobbed off with no plans, coming soon, you can buy two brides but they will be looking away from each other. I have just checked again and still nothing on the website other than heterosexual ‘couples’. I don’t think I saw a Pride theme duck either (but I may have just missed this). DCUK if my search function on your website is broken, please show me where your LGBTQ+ ducks are. I did tell them I was no longer purchasing from them until they embraced our wonderfully diverse and delightfully individual society but I guess one voice just wasn’t loud enough. It’s a shame they have taken another step towards money madness- you used to get a lovely sticker free in the boxes. Now all of a sudden you have to pay for them. Over priced, overrated and out of touch.”

“Lovely product but delivered in branded box with no clear warning at checkout that this would be the case. In doing so this was a Christmas gift ruined. When I emailed to complain, I was met with a brusque reply that directed me to an obscure part of the terms and conditions that said boxes would be branded unless otherwise asked for. The customer service representative was unhelpful and stopped replying mid email chain with no explanation. Sadly will not use again or recommend.”

“I recently purchased two dinky ducks from you in celebration of the Queen’s 70th Jubilee. They have arrived this morning and I cannot express my upset, disappointment and anger at the products that I have received. I have been purchasing products from Dcuk for a number of years and have always been awed at how beautiful they are and how they make such wonderful and personalised presents. Today when I opened the dinky Dcuk they were not to the same standard that I have previously received. I was shocked! Not only do the ‘limited edition’ dcuks look like they have been done by a toddler with a silver sharpie and some clear nail varnish but they did not come in the beautiful cardboard display box that other dinky dcuks come in. For someone who brought these as a keep sake for myself and my mother to remember a momentous occasion in British history and to then want to pass them on down our generations, I am deeply angered and saddened at the quality of your ‘limited edition’ dcuks.”

“I’m very unhappy with my recent purchase I ordered two ducks it stated they were the same height one is taller than the other there is quite a height difference they are a gift for a couple and they look odd the female duck is way taller than the male duck and I can’t change them over because the female duck is wearing pink wellingtons but the biggest problem I have is they arrived with small name tags with a apology and 15% off my next purchase I am unable to change the name tags myself so I am going to have to give them to my friend for her birthday and hope she can change them the correct name tags arrived the very next day so why could you have not waited a day to post them so there is a significant height difference which wasn’t stated and they have small name tags on them to say I am disappointed with them is a understatement I have purchased ducks previously and always been happy with them”

“Not very happy at all. Purposely spent more money on the gift packaging expecting DCUK to consider the fact that the parcel may be a present for someone in the same household. Was hugely disappointed when the parcel arrived in DCUK branded branding so unfortunately the present will not be a surprise and buying the gift packaging was a waste of money.”

“I am very disappointed with my Remembrance Duck. In total I paid £21.04 which in my opinion is not worth it. I have made previous purchases and they cost £25.00 and were 3 times the size. I will not be ordering again as I do not like being ripped off.”
