“Bought as a gift but heard from person that flowers were as expected in colours and that they were very nice. However, what do you expect someone to say about a gift... Arrived on time but, did pay extra to arrive on day as, buying a gift that may arrive one day late is a bit off as far as I am concerned so, paid the extra and it was worth it.”

“Delivered on time, excellent value for money and the recipient was delighted. That was the precise version but for those of you who like a bit more information please read on. Choosing flowers for a recently widowed Aunt who had been married for 67 years and is a retired florist, was, for me quite daunting. I looked on several sites and saw many bouquets before finally deciding on Debenhams. I was drawn to Debenhams by the choice of flowers available and thought that compared to the other sites the value was amazing. At the funeral I asked my Aunt if she liked the flowers and unfortunately at that point she couldn't remember having received them. At the wake, I asked her very good neighbour if she knew whether she had received the flowers, she began to gush about how beautiful they were and that my Aunt had put them into two vases, one of which she had received as a wedding present and had been delighted. The flowers lasted really well and she still had a handful of carnations left two weeks after receiving them. Then my Aunt remembered, smiled and said "Oh yes, I had some beautiful flowers from my David (don't men always get he credit) she added that they were really beautiful, she loved them so much and they were such good value that I am going to order her some more today, it's three days since the funeral and hopefully she will remember them this time. Thank you Debenhams florists you have made people smile at a very difficult time.”

“The flowers and gifts arrived on time, but the message was missing. These were a birthday gift for my mother. I am in the Armed Forces and am currently serving overseas, so was disappointed that my mum had to guess who they from. Fortunately I was able to phone her and which was when I was made aware.”

“Wanted to send a friend some flowers and a small gift for the arrival of her son, having checked a few online shops including interflora I came across Debenhams flowers. The bouquet was lovely and the gift to go with was perfect, delivery was on my chosen day and it couldn't have worked out better - I had a phone call from a very happy friend who was overjoyed with the surprise.”

“Flowers were nice but the card was way too small and had a promotion on the back of it that, to be honest, just made it look cheap. The message on the card should be separate to any promotional leaflets.”

“The flowers arrived in poor condition (looked dead) there was no structure to them at all and looked like they had just been thrown together! Very disappointed with them as looked nothing like advertised, I could have bought a 10 pound bunch that would have been fuller and presented better”

“when I arrived at the hospital I didnot no what flowers I had sent as the card was separate from the flowers. I picked the blessed bunch, but I still did not recognise them. so I cannot review the flowers.”

“My friend recently had a baby and had a really tough time, after being in hospital for over a week, i arranged for flowers to arrive to her house for when she got home. I paid for next day delivery, however they didn't arrive, until the following day by which time the flowers had started to turn brown, I just wasn't very happy with the service.”
