I have had to change my bank card due to the site being hacked. This has caused me an awful lot of problems and continues to do so with having to change passwords and regular payments etc. All very inconvenient and disappointing as the reason I chose Debenhams was due to its good name and reputation.

My experience this time was not a happy one I'm afraid. In the past I have always been very happy with the flowers I've ordered through Debenhams. But recently bought some roses/fresias to cheer my mum up after a bout of illness but the roses were dead within 2 days of arrival and the bouquet was sparse to say the least. It wasn't the most expensive bunch of flowers in the world but when I actually saw how many flowers there were I have to admit I felt rather embarrassed ;-( Not sure I'll use company again.

Sorry to hear about that.We have a seven day guarantee, so we will send out a fresh bouquet if the flowers die that quickly. I'll ask one of the team to contact you. Regarding the volume of the bouquet. We do specify exactly what stems are included. If it's short, please let us know.

So disappointed with Debenhams Flowers! The quality is very poor and not long lasting at all. I have complained and previously they have always sent another bunch. However I would rather my mother would just receive a nice bunch of flowers that last and in her words 'like Sainsburys'! Unfortunately I am not going to use Debenhams again !

Ordered flowers with a vase. Vase was never delivered. Door bell not rung and door was not knocked. Flowers were left on the doorstep for anyone to take. And now I have received an email from these jokers asking for my feedback with a competition, of which expired nearly two months ago.

You failed to deliver my mother's day flowers and then advised me that the Royal Mail had returned to their office. This was untrue. The flowers had not even been attempted to be delivered.

Dear Computer!!! I don't expect a real person to read or respond to this, therefore, I will be astonished if someone in authority (not a call centre person) calls me so that I might be able to help Debenham's Flowers improve customer service and increase sales! ORDER NUMBER: 100311170 - Modern Indoor Planter Gift and Paid Extra for Chocolates! Dear Debenhams, Where shall I start . . . I noticed on ‘your’ website, Mother’s Day Flowers, order before 6pm on Saturday for delivery on Mother’s Day and after taking time choosing what I thought would be the perfect gift, I decided to continue with my order, when eventually reaching the ‘end’ of the ordering procedure I found out that the gift could not be delivered as advertised, so decided to arrange delivery on Saturday (yesterday) anyway. Saturday – A large box arrived – the attached photographs tell the rest of the story (I have more photos), but please read on to hear what happened next!!! I called the Debenhams flowers contact number (approx. 10.15am) to be greeted by a lady that I found difficult to understand due to her heavy accent, she (without me explaining what my problem was) immediately offered me 15% refund for my ‘undelivered’ gift! Eventually. I managed to explain that my Wife’s lovely gift had actually been delivery but was totally ruined due to very bad packing (see pictures) and poor handling during shipping, the paid extra for chocolates were also missing! Your operative then offed to re-order and send the gift again, however, I still have not received any confirmation of this, nor I suspect will the precious Mother’s Day gift arrive today. I have tried to call ‘your’ flowers hotline again today three times and after waiting for ages each time, had the phone put down on me twice (before I spoke) and then could not get though at all. I owned a large customer facing company for many years and would respectfully suggest that you review your association with ‘Debenhams Flowers’ or whoever it is you have a contract with to take care of your online flower operation, as my guess is that this is not the only flower complain you have been reading today and as such the Debenhams brand IS being damaged (my Wife is a big Debenhams fan and a Gold Card Holder!) Finally, I am keen to find out how you deal with my complaint and look forward to your personal attention to put this matter right (and behind me!) Nigel Hudston (Husband of one of your loyal customers) STOP PRESS - This morning (Wednesday 29th March) we received the reorder which was not the product I first ordered! Please note, this is NOT a money issue, I don't need £38, this is more about companies that get too big to be able to give anything other than very poor customer service and should review their complaint procedures! - contact me, I may be able to help your profit line!

Flowers ordered....tracking emails received. Flowers not delivered, when I chased this up I was told there was a system error and the flowers were never actually dispatched. Refund given but no offer to send flowers just a £15 credit to the account. Not good enough!

My mother was disappointed with the flowers. They arrived almost dead and did not last long. I was very disappointed it was her 80th birthday. My mother was also disappointed. It was meant to bring a ray of sunshine in her life as she marked her birthday but instead it did the opposite.

To be honest, I ordered nearly a month in advance, the delivery was great and on time. I order one rose in a glass bottle for valentines day for my boyfriend. Arrived on the Tuesday which was great and by the Wednesday it was completely dead!!! The flower had water and enough sunlight, the right room temp... None of those factors were a problem. It was a lot of money for a days worth and made me embarrassed. Won't order from you again I don't think or recommend that others do. Highly disappointed.

The picture of the flowers I ordered looked nothing like what was delivered. When my mum showed me them on a visit a few data later I was very disappointed. I normally use M&S or interflora and wish I had not altered from this choice. First time I have every been let down ordering flowers.

Awful experience. Ordered a bouquet of flowers (which looked lovely in the online picture) along with a vase and bottle of wine. Flowers never arrived. Called the helpline and after holding for over an hour I eventually spoke to someone and explained the order was never received. He advised they would send again, priority post and I would get a text message/phone call to advise when they were delivering the following day. Following day, no text/call but my friend did receive the most pathetic bunch of green foliage and 3 flowers. No wine. Called to complain again and, once again, was told they'd send a nicer bouquet of flowers and the wine - neither arrived! Rather embarrassing when you've ordered something as a gift for someone.

Ordered birthday flowers, chocolate box and balloon for my wife. Was delivered on time but the flowers looked old and some leaves were torn. The flowers were lily and roses, the lilies were buds while the roses were big and mature so they withered in a couple of days even before the lilies could open. They showed a picture of a round birthday balloon with Happy birthday written on it but sent a palm sized star plain balloon. No where while ordering the balloon was the size mentioned but when i checked my email for order confirmation the summary said small balloon, so they get away with this. When i paid 5 quid for a balloon i didn't expect it to be a small size if it wasn't mentioned. The ordering of the flowers is tricky from their website. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Don't use this service! They are VERY misleading with their pictures of flowers. What you see and what is actually sent are two very different things! I picked an arrangement called Paisley which has 9 flowers plus lots of greenery. What my friend received was 6 flowers and hardly any greenery!! I paid £22! Total rip off..!!

The flowers did not arrive on the date of the occasion and no contact to explain. My partner was going away for his birthday hence did came back to dry flowers which were delivered in his absence. Contacted Debenhams through their online contact us no response up to now. I normally use Waitrose and kick myself for changing. A pure waste of money and poor customer service. Sorry no more business from me.

I agree this sounds like a terrible experience. I will ask the team to call you as according to Royal Mail the order was delivered on the requested date.
