The one star is for prompt delivery. That is the only positive word I can say about this ghastly product delivered as a fifth wedding anniversary present for my son and daughter in law. I was mortified. They said the roses were already brown on delivery, and I saw the actual bouquet five days later, unspeakable. Disgusted with Debenhams. Have rang contact number twice, emailed, sent photos of product, (Lovely Lilies and Roses bouqeut)Trustpilot report, now this. Really poor customer response. Sorry, hate to give negative feedback, but so upset as this was supposed to be a nice surprise! Order no 100245580. Please recompense in some way, thank you.

Awful flowers. So disappointed. This was a sympathy present and when they showed me what they received I was so embarrassed !! Going XL was more like XS. Such a poor bunch of flowers from now on I'll be going to florists and paying the same amount for double the bunch ! Feel Completley ripped off !

I have ordered from Debenhams only twice, first time (order number 10024912) was delivered on the wrong date. This was very upsetting as it was following a bereavement. I was offered a refund of my delivery charge, this is not acceptable. For this order it was my Daughters birthday I ordered the large peon yo bouquet they are very poor and have not opened. Not great service.

Bought as a gift and delivered straight to my friend. Box damaged. Hardly any bufs on rose. Wont be buying from here again.

The recipient told me the flowers were of a very poor quality on arrival. They also had to be thrown away within a week. I must say the next day delivery service beat my expectations, order placed on Saturday morning and delivered by 10am Sunday, however I can't help but think perhaps the flowers were substandard due to the short turnaround time, and perhaps they were 'leftovers'.

Good afternoon, Delivery reference: delivery reference (ITEM-100243574-11663-427676) . I am writing in regards to a recent purchase that I am very dissatisfied and unhappy about. The picture on the website ( Cheerful Lily and Rose - https://www.debenhamsflowers.com/flowers/shop-by-flower/lilies/cheerful-lily-rose) displayed a very vibrant colour of orange lilies. I based my purchase only off the vibrancy and colour of this picture. I am aware that the description does not state that the lilies would be a bright orange but rather a "salmon classic LA lily". When the buds bloomed it was neither orange nor salmon - please find attached pictures of a very standard yellow lily instead. I feel very misled by this advertisement and definitely do not feel it was worth the price i paid for it, especially since i ordered a large bouquet and the picture advertised stated the image was only a standard bouquet. What I received was extremely sparse and I was expecting a much bigger bouquet Lastly the roses had withered and died by the time the lilies bloomed .

These were incredibly disappointing and really looked nothing like the pictures. The roses were wilted and almost dead within 24 hours and the lilies took another 4 days to open. The carnations too looked faded and the stems were much longer than the roses so everything looked oddly out of shape. I would be very unlikely to spend so much on flowers like this again.

I was not very happy with the service and the fact that the flowers when delivered took 4 days after it said on the site order before 9pm delivered next day the card with the note was put in the box that was not looked as as it was diabolical and on a bit of paper! The flowers were not in water and half dead before they got there I'm not a happy customer and will not use debenhams again !

The peonies are my wife's favourite flower, but they did not boom. They just stayed closed and died over the course of about a week. Won't be using this service again.

The roses in the bouquet were dead within 2 days.i was disappointed that the flowers were just packed flat in a thin box,that's not what I call a bouquet .They are sending another bouquet I just hope this ones better.

So disappointed with the quality of these flowers the photograph sent from work colleague on receipt did not look anything like the picture on your site. Whilst I appreciate that the lilies were yet open - was not impressed. Can send the photograph, unfortunately unable to attach.

The flower arrangement was very 'light' and didn't have the same sort of volume displayed online. Also after a day the flowers were beginning to wilt, and despite my best efforts did not last long. Also a large proportion of the flowers did not open before they died. If this was a one off I'd let it go, but this it's the second time I've ordered, with the same result. very disappointing.

I ordered flowers from Debenhams for my nan's 97th birthday; I specifically put on the delivery instructions to be patient, however, I was absolutely disgusted to be contacted by her care worker today, who found them dumped at the top of her road. Fortunately, I had phoned my nan earlier in the day to tell her a parcel was coming and to keep an eye out for it, otherwise I would assume they would be still there now, as she sent the care worker round to ask the neighbours if they had seen a parcel and one of them spotted it. I can accept that sometimes it is necessary to leave a parcel with neighbours or in the porch, however, I must reiterate- this parcel was dumped on a lawn at the top of her cul-de-sac, the driver could not be bothered to go the extra 150 metres to put it on her door step. I must also add that my nan has to pay the carer out of her own money. I informed Debenhams of all the problems and all they offered to do was send her more flowers to say sorry - she spent nearly a day worrying where the last bunch went, why would I put her through that again?! *Updated following Debenham's response below* I have spoken to nan and the care worker, they both are adamant the flowers were found on the lawn. If you could send me the photos of the flowers on the doorstep that the courier provided, then I would consider the matter closed and will update this review accordingly.

I'm sorry to hear this - I agree the whole experience is far from what you rightfully expected. We have investigated this for you further. The courier left it on the doorstep and has sent us a picture. This doesn't excuse them not waiting for the door to be answered but you shouldn't have the same situation on a reorder, and we can use a different courier to try to avoid the situation. We still don't know how they ended up in someone's lawn. If you would still like a reorder please reply to the previous email. Thanks.

I purchased the flowers for my mother birthday. They came on time and were a beautiful bunch. However in the second day the leaves started to turn yellow. Now it has been about a week and the roses haven't even bloomed!! My mother has been keeping good care of the flowers as well, they are just very poor quality, I am not impressed with the service at all.

The flowers arrived with 1 bud knocked off. The outer leaves were tinged with brown as if they had been in a fridge/freezer too long. The buds did not open but just withered and died after 3 days causing me acute embarrassment. All in all they were a complete waste of money and I shall never order flowers from Debenhams again!!

It sounds like one of your buds had an unhappy journey and we're sorry to hear about the ones that died after 3 days. One of our team will be in touch about that. Regarding the outer petals, it sounds like you're talking about the 'guard petals'. By their nature they appear this way and are left on deliberately to prolong the rose's life. Ordered flowers to be delivered on a Saturday as my partner works on a Saturday at the Hospital and it was for something special. They were ordered a good 5 days beforehand but arrived on the Monday. So she had to go out of her way to collect them They were supposed to last around 7 days. They were dead by the Friday and thrown out. Not impressed and wont be going back.
