Ordered TV then cancelled within 10 mins to be told it had been dispatched. after numerous phone calls to customer services they advised me the Order had been cancelled only to receive phone calls and emails asking me when they could deliver. Phoned today to chase up my refund, spoke to Ashley, to be told It had been refunded today without asking my name, address or Order Number. Phoned again and told they had refunded on the 29th August but the Bank has advised me this is not the case. Stay well away from this Company they are a nightmare. I am fortunate I paid with my Credit Card and they will deal with it for me.

I ordered a chrome book from Debenhams Plus. It arrived promptly but was not the product described on the website and was not the product described in the delivery notification email. It was an inferior product. After great difficulty, time and expense, I finally reached Customer Services. Their response was that this isn't their problem if the product doesn't match the website description as the manufacturer must have given them the wrong information. They are very busy people and do I understand how many products they sell? My understanding is that the seller actually is responsible for providing what they have agreed to sell and for ensuring that their advertising is accurate. I certainly don't rate this company - who seem to be sullying rather representing Debenhams name. And I certainly don't recommend their customer services training provider, who seems to have trained their representatives to take a rather defensive/aggressive approach. They did offer me a small discount in the end.

I ordered a TV on Debenhams online which said it was in stock. The website stated delivery would be 2-3 working days. 4 days later I get an email from Debenhams saying they cannot deliver for another 10days. When I spoke to their customer services they said the item was not currently in stock. I had to get a refund. Totally misleading and inaccurate information on website. Poor customer service. Would never use Debenhams again.

I ordered on 14/08/17 at 12:32pm, i called on 15/08/17 at 12:27 to cancel the order and you advised me i couldn't cancel even though the order had NOT yet been dispatched, on 16/08/17 at 14:12 then dispatched the order. VERY POOR SERVICE RECEIVED! I will never buy or recommend you to any of my family and friends.

I ordered a freezer 4 days ago Tuesday)to be delivered Thursday it's now Friday customer care team said everyday it was to be delivered . Now 1900 hours Friday . I've waited in for 2 days. Appalling service. Sent emails with no response . Unfortunately they use the name Debenhams given them a bad name .

I ordered a Lenovo laptop, when it arrived it would not load up. I spoke to Lenovo who went through checks with me, it turned out the laptop had no hard drive! I rang Debenhams and was cut off twice 4 minutes into the call. I then emailed them and have been told it could be 28 days before I get a refund, that is if they accept it is faulty! Disgraceful! Avoid them like the plague!

Ordered a robust Cat B25 phone, after a few days it wasn't holding the charge, I contacted them and was advised to try different charger which i did, a few chargers + and in car charger, I emailed them and was told to return it which i did, got phone call to say charger port was damaged, this wasn't under guarantee they would return it with photo evidence, got phone back no report or photos or anything. So now I'm left with a phone a few weeks old which is useless, I paid £10 for next day delivery and then had to pay postage again to return it. --POOR SERVICE

Purchased a item in the sale was chatting to the cashier unfortunately didn't realise i was charged the full price for the item. Was in a rush so didn't realise until I received my bank statement. On contacting them was told that even with the receipt and item number they couldn't tell if it was ever in a sale. Maybe my fault that I should of checked at the time of purchase. But cannot believe they can't trace the product ever being in a sale. I will be contacting trading standards. And will never shop in there again.

Terrible company! I went with these as they said I would have a next day delivery... I waited in the whole day and nothing. I called the following day and was told it was out of stock and would be with me at the end of August! I made the order early June.. absolutely terrible and no communication what so ever. To make matters worse, I obviously asked for a refund nearly 3 weeks ago and still nothing.. I've called 3 times now and have had to put up with the same old story of its pending to be refunded and the last call the guy on the phone was really rude! I've now had to open a dispute with my bank to hopefully get my money back! I wish I had done my research before I ordered and if I could I would give this company no stars! Please avoid like the plague!

I ordered and paid for a black Samsung phone online, the cost was £199 and I paid £5 for next day delivery...very easy and phone arrived the next day...great service?? Seemed to be BUT when opening the phone it was gold :-( I called customer services to be told I must have ordered gold, even when I pointed out that to order the gold I would have to have scrolled down to bottom of web page, select the gold version which cost £209 and then pay my £5 for next day delivery so £214 but I have paid £204 for BLACK. the guy wouldn't accept this but did process my return, I said as this was their error I wanted phone picked up, no problem he said. I then get an email saying sorry you want to return "unwanted" item and telling me where to return it and that they don't refund the return postage! I called customer services again to say I want phone picked up and full refund including next day delivery cost. This guy is very helpful and reads the email previous guy and written and it stated "customer claims she ordered a black phone" What??? I paid for a black phone, I wonder who many times Debenham Plus kindly send customer more expensive items for a cheaper price...don't think so! This guy was very apologetic and refunded next day delivery there and then and has arranged for DPD to pick phone up. Would not recommend or use again!

I would not rate Debenhams!!! I made an order online which I received a conformation email for and they took my money.. I then received another email TWO HOURS later saying my item was not in stock and have to wait for my money to go back in my bank! I am a single mother to 4 children and was getting my daughter a dress for a wedding in 2weeks time. I can not afford to go and buy another dress until I have received my money back. This has just caused unnecessary hassle, this situation should not be able to happen. It has caused so much frustration and upset as my daughter was very excited and happy with her dress and it was a speacial treat to be ordering the dress I did!

Not being up on IT. After making a purchase last November, signing up for what I thought was to receive vouchers turned out I had signed up without realising and paying into a scheme that takes £15.00 out of your bank every month. Turns out this is is a saving scheme with offers and vouchers etc. I have received nothing. Customers do not click o n the link with the offer of vouchers. 😡

I bought a cooker hood from Debenhams Plus prior to the last Bank Holiday and whilst I have no complaints with the product itself (it actually was very good value for money), the whole experience was a nightmare due to failed deliveries and a complete lack of communications within the customer services department. I had paid extra to have it delivered on a BH Saturday..... and the fact that that it could be had swung the purchase for me. Needless to say it did not arrive. Furthermore it was impossible to find out what was happening from Debenhams Plus as they did not reply for days - let alone the 'hours' response that they boast about on their web-site. My time was utterly wasted, my builders time was wasted and the weekend kitchen work had to be put on hold ..... and to rub absolute salt into the wound..... I was given the princely sum of £10 compensation for this complete carnage in service, which Debenhams Plus admitted was their fault! Awful, awful, awful.

I ordered the mobile phone from Debenhams as a birthday present for my brother, had it sent directly to him. I received a call fromDebenhams last week asking me what phone I had received, I obviously didn't have this information as I had it sent directly to my brother who was told not to open till his birthday which was yesterday the 17th May, I had it delivered early as he was going away over his birthday and could take it with him. She advised that there is a chance that a different could have been sent, I did advise if this was the case I would be extremely annoyed as it was a birthday present. I continued to say that I would ring back if it was the wrong phone when he opened it. I called my brother on the 17th to find out what he actually received he advised a LG I then had to proceed to tell him it isn't the one I ordered, I may add this was horrible to do!! He then told me that he had opened the box and was looking at what it did. I then had to go on to tell him to put it back in the box as I now had to sort out this complete mess which Debenhams had caused. I honestly called Debenhams to advised the wrong phone had been received, spoke to a lady who took all the details and advised would have to pass to a different department to deal with the case and assured me that would receive a call back in the morning to sort this out. I didn't receive the call this morning and to make matters worse I received a email asking for more information, and thanking me for completing a returns form which I didn't do!! and then asking for me to take photo's of any damage of visual faults, bit difficult since I didn't have the phone, beside this has all occurred by Debenhams incompetents by sending out the incorrect phone in the first place. This is absolutely disgusting service from such a big company, will not being using again

Had a text to say goods had been delivered - No they hadn't. Phoned Customer Services to report this but they said the goods had been delivered and had actually been signed for - No they hadn't! She said she would check with the courier and call me back later - No she didn't! A week later I still hadn't heard a word from Debenhams, even though the cash had been taken immediately. Subsequently, I found (from a neighbour) that the item had been delivered, not only to the wrong house but to the WRONG ROAD! Many thanks to the honest neighbour but no help or contact at all from Debenhams. What a bunch of ostriches. Buy elsewhere!

Disgraceful customer services. DO NOT buy any electrical items from Debenhams .com. Who are actually Buyitdirect. Make sure that if you purchase a TV from them that you set it up within 5 days even if it is a present or you are decorating. Because if you don't and the TV is actually not fot for purpose they will take over 2 weeks to respond to your complaint and then will use any excuse they can not to rectify the matter and will insinuate that you broke the item.Utter disgrace.

First attempt at delivery of a dinning table and it did not turn up. Error with delivery company. I complained so they reduced the cost and had to reorder again. It turned up and gad a crack on it. So refunded again. The third attempt it arrived and the table was in pieces. So now I am waiting for the third refund but refuse to buy anything from Debenhams again. Absolutely terrible service.

I'm genuinely amazed that companies still trust Debenhams to trade their products. The delivery set up is awful. We were told our fridge would arrive between 7am and 11am yet still at 5pm nothing has been delivered and all customer service ever says is that they can't get through to the driver or that he's been in an accident/broken down. Blatant lies to cover up a seriously shoddy company. DO NOT USE.

Worst customer service ever! I would not give this company any of your money. Since buying a laptop of them which became faulty, i have been met with a catalogue of poor service - un returned calls which were promised, lost paperwork, rudeness and miss-quoting of customer rights!
