I ordered the product to be delivered and the service from DHL was very poor i will not be using them ever again they sent me a message at 20.45 if a need to amend any information to respond to the link all good sow far witch i respond to by 21.10 witch is to late sow what is the point in sending the text in the first place Order number 2 click and pick up sow i check if the product was in store yes there was 3 sow cary on then you still have to wight 5 day to pick it up think i will stick with amazon from now on One unhappy ex customer

Worse online shopping experience ever... Next day delivery clearly isn't next day. Refunds take ages also... customer service is rubbish. Still awaiting my refund 6 weeks on although I've had emails conformation that this will take 5 working days. WARNING DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!

As I can see from your online account, I would like to confirm that my colleague opened up an investigation with DHL locate your original order but as this process takes from 2 to 17 business days, she already created a new order for you so that you could receive your item as soon as possible and she also contacted warehouse to make sure they ship it as priority. Very poor experience of a company not properly set up for online shopping. Initially tried purchasing for collection in store, debit card debited although against their policy apparently. Contacted by email to say item was not available in store, despite showing as available online. I then tried to purchase item again from the main warehouse. Waited over a week to be told item is not in stock, despite again showing otherwise online. So if you're in a hurry for something, avoid decathlon, which is a pity as otherwise I do like their products.

Dear David Thank you for leaving a review. Despite our attempts to keep our stock level fully up to date there can occasionally be errors or damage to products. In regards to the payment some banks do show the fee as authorised however the money is not taken until the product is scanned through the till. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Have a nice day.

Ordered a pair of UK size 2 on arrival they were half a size larger! Decathlons reply was there's problems with size conversions from the European to UK sizes. Very poor nothing offered eventually got a refund.

Dear Steve, Thank you for contacting us. We are sorry to hear you have experienced problems with your order. We can confirm that we looked into the cause of this error and have discovered that we have made a miscalculation with the UK & US sizing of this model. Different brands use different measurements to measure their footwear, we have applied our Decathlon branded size chart to this product which has caused the UK & US conversion to be incorrect, the EU size remains correct. We apologise profoundly for this inaccuracy and will be reporting this back to product manager to make the necessary changes so that we can avoid this occurring in the future. For this reason we have changed your return for the refund option instead of the replacement. This process may take up to 5 business days, depending on your bank account. My parcel arrived stinking of cigarettes ! Then the item inside did to! I had to chuck it out !!! Tried emailing and it was constantly refusing to send as one of the boxes apparently had wrong text in but it didn't ? No phone number no customer services ! So complete waste of money ! Would never recommend or use them again

First of all can I say that I love Decathlon. I can spend all day wandering around and spend a lot of money there. However, I was very disappointed with my recent experience. I bought some MTB pedals at the Stockport store and the price on the rail said £17.99. Altogether I spent nearly £60 but didn't check my receipt until I got home at which point I found I'd been charged £24.99 for the pedals. I looked online and the price said £17.99 so the next day I returned to the store to query it. I was told that the online price was a generic price and not the price in the Stockport store. I was also told the pedals must have been on the wrong shelf and that £24.99 was what I'd have to pay. I said can you not match the online price and was told no. I said well I'll return them and order online and asked for a refund which I was given. I went home, ordered the pedals on click and collect at the Stockport store for free and a few days later returned to the store to pick up my pedals for £17.99. It seems silly that I had to do this and make extra trips to the store to get a refund and collect my order for the same product. It won't stop me shopping there but I feel you could definitely do something to stop this happening in the future.

Purchased a Fitbit watch and some Fitbit scales - delivery took longer than promised and once they arrived, it was obvious that the scales had actually been used before, plastic cover had been removed and was folded up in the box and they had someone elses footprints on them - they were either customer returns or graded stock but sold at full price. Was hard work getting a return for them to collect the goods, all returns forms were expecting me to pay for postage. A week after collection I still had no refund, was told that they would be refunded once the warehouse checks them (a week later?!) - after i said that wasn't good enough they refunded me straight away but a customer shouldn't have to call. They could take some tips off operations such as 'Next'

Good service let down by appalling lapses in product quality. £600 bicycle with paint finish so poor it scratches away in moments - I have never known anything like it.

The men's running underwear I purchased fell apart at the taped seams after about 5 long runs of 12 miles and more not impressed at all.

After ordering some volleyball equipment with decathlon I was strung along for over 5 weeks, to finally be told we dont sell that!!! I then managed to purchase the same equipment myself through exactly the same company.... You!!!!!! Spending around £600!! If I hadnt been desperate for this equipment I would have gone elsewhere!!! Will not be shopping with you again!!!

I'm still waiting for my goods! Had an email about 3 weeks ago to say they were shipped to my chosen delivery point but as of now, still haven't turned up! It's not my job to chase you! SORT IT OUT!!!

I aked to asambla a bikeweel and they asked me to pay 12 pounds and they seeled to me things whant didn t need. So poor, decatlon is doing nothing for the customer.????

I was called by the giltbrook store to say our bike was in stock & ready for collection, on arrival at the store we were informed this was a mistake & it wouldn't be there until the following day. This was a birthday present for our daughter & we were informed there was nothing to be done, we received a call later that day to say the bike had gone to the wrong store & that we could have taken the same model of bike from their stock at giltbrook. My daughter missed out on her birthday present (on her birthday) due to decathlons communication breakdown....never again!!

I ordered a children's shoe in UK 1.5 as advertised on the website. It was click and collect. When my wife travelled to collect the shoe they were actually a UK 2. The order confirmation clearly states UK 1.5 but the show said UK 2. The store assistant wasn't interested and said that Decathlon is a European company and goes on European sizes - well the EU size is 33.5 for anything advertised as a UK 1.5 yet the store assistant stated Decathlon class EU 34 as UK 1.5 therefore ignoring the uniform sizing system. Wasted journey and wasted purchase

I have bought twice on Decathlon but won't be buying any time soon. First it doesn't allow you to pay with another card except yours. My mother in law that lives in another country asked me to buy her something and pay with her card,but Decathlon asked for proof of residency. I understand is a security matter, but I am sure you can go around that in another way other than to ask for proof of residency. I had to call and cancel the order, do it again and pay with my card. Also the pick up policy just be extended. 7 days holding an item that has been payed already is just annoying. People are very busy and may not have that chance to go pick it up in a week. 14 days would be better. Bare in mind that all of these situations happened in one order. Because I couldn't pick it up on time, again it was cancelled and I had to that all over again. So, my experience with Decathlon wasn't good at all and I am not one to complain, believe me. It was just too much hassle and too much time spent on just one order. Not good!!

I ordered a pair of Adidas blue basketball shorts, drove all the way to Croydon store to collect them and when I collected my order, it turned out a pair of red shorts was delivered instead. I did not want those, so returned them there and then. One of the staff members checked the website and informed me that an incorrect image was uploaded with the item description on Decathlon website. Very disappointing.

I couldn't collect my order so it was returned after 7 days. I didn't get a refund though. I had to chase this 3 weeks later! Left me feeling like I wouldn't want to order again with Decathlon

I received no notification my order was ready for collection, when I collected my order a week later half of it was missing. It was then reordered and delivered ... All this took nearly 2 weeks! Would have been quicker and less handle to drive to store and buy!
