The worst online shopping experience I have ever encountered. Clearly no-one had tested the Uk version of the site - parts of it were in French. The payment transaction flow just didn't work and the site forced me to pay twice, once by Paypal and again by credit card. Click and collect took far too long. Thankfully I managed to cancel my order and get both payments back. Avoid this retailer online.

Very poor customer service - message received to say click and collect parcel at store ready to collect - it wasn't! No reason given for incompetence no support or help offered.

Went to store to exchange an item at Southampton, asked young man where I should go for this, and he snapped at me "Go to the back of the queue". Charming. Will avoid in future.

Not receive my purchase in the time advertised. Let me completely without any info until the item was dispatched. The website is broken, the help options didn't work or appear to me. If I need to purchase again online sport goods I'll avoid Decathlon online.

Online experience was fine, apart from a few language translation errors on the order form. But service in store at pick up was awful. Self serve machines were broken and there was a long queue with only one person on a till. Whilst in store I picked up some socks that were on offer only to be charged a higher price at the till. I challenged the price as code and description matched the shelf offer. The manager informed me that the price at till was correct regardless of what the shelf showed. I was appalled and took a photo to make a written complaint. When he saw me take the photo his attitude changed and he said he would take the sign down and charge me the offer price. Clear mis selling and total lack of empathy to customer from staff. I won't return.

THIS WAS THE WORSE ONLINE SHOPPING THE ITEMS WAS STOLEN FROM WAREHOUSE NOTHING BUT LIES FROM HELP LINE STAFF MANAGERS FAIL TO CALL YOU OR SORT OUT THE PROBLEM ITEMS NOT BEING SENT AND GOING MISSING ??? I HAD TO CALL HEAD OFFICE 3 DAYS ON THE RUN JUST TO GET NEW ITEMS SENT AFTER WAITING 2 WEEKS WITH NO CONTACT FROM THEM OVER DELAYED DELIVERY AND ITEMS GOING MISSING

My order never arrived. The delivery company said they would try to rediliver a further 2 times...they tried again once. Despite someone being home order was not completed. No refund has been offered. Your company still believe the goods have been delivered. There was no option to leave with a neighbour either. Very disappointed

Sizes are all off and the material is cheap, I wasn't expecting an amazing deal but I also wasn't expecting the t-shirts to be so poor quality

It took a long time to dispatch my items, and then only part of my order arrived. I could only complain using an online form which took 2 days to respond to. It took another half a week for the rest of my order to be dispatched an arrive. Overall I am very dissatisfied. Once you noticed the error the rest of the order should have been shipped as a priority, not in the same way as normal orders. It would have been quicker an easier just to go to the shop and buy what i needed. I won't be using the service again.

We do apologize for your bad experienced with the delivery of your order. There was a problem with the sizing that made your order been delayed. I was given a delivery date which was confirmed the day before due but failed to arrive-no notification was given ,no apology made

I ordered a few basic fleece tops for my husband but the sizing was all wrong. I followed the website's size guide but when I received items the item size label was correct but the actual size of the tops (I measured them with a tape measure !) did not match the website's guide so had to return - all of them came up smaller than expected. Postage had to be covered by myself when returning so it was an expensive experience from start to finish.

I'm only giving a rating of very poor because the delivery you company you used was ATROCIOUS! The staff and service and products at decathalon were actually great but the (failed) delivery of my bike caused me a great deal of stress, led me to taking unnecessary time off work and using a weekend to try to get my bike! I also spent over £20 in phonecalls to decathalon and DHL but decathalon only refunded me £10 (and only in vouchers for use at their store). I would probably return to decathalon to shop therfore in person but would NEVER get one of their products delivered due to the stess involved. Mammy people have admired my bike and i've told them where it's from but I have to day ice told more people about how dreadful dhl were.

I purchased a pair of ice hockey skates for my son for Christmas. I was assured that they would arrive just before Christmas - which they did. However, the blades were completely blunt and unusable. At no point in the ordering process was I told that the blades would not be sharpened. We had previously bought figure skates for my daughter which were ready to use. This was a huge disappointment as we were planning on a surprise trip to one of the outdoor ice rinks in London over the holiday period. I feel I paid for items that were not as advertised and would not use Decathlon again and warn buyers to beware of this company. I tried to get the shop at Watford to resolve the situation at the time but although the young shop assistant was sympathetic he could not do anything to help. As we left, a man in a suit who was standing behind us started talking to the assistant and went behind the counter and into the back of the shop. I do hope he was not a manager and not at all interested in helping as this further reflects badly on the company.

Ordered a size 8.5 trainer but a 9 turned up! after talking to a sales person that i could barely understand, he told me they sent a size 9 because they had no 8.5s left. What was the point in sending a size i didn't want?!? Useless returns policy and procedure too. Would not use again or recommend.

Dear David, Thank you for contacting us. I am sorry to hear you have experienced problems with your order. We looked into the cause of this error and have discovered that we have made a miscalculation with the UK & US sizing of this model. Different brands use different measurements to measure their footwear, we have applied our Decathlon branded size chart to this product which has caused the UK & US conversion to be incorrect, the EU size remains correct. We apologise profoundly for this inaccuracy and will be reporting this back to product manager to make the necessary changes so that we can avoid this occurring in the future. Worst service ever, not only did they send my order to someone else, then they were unable to rectify there mistake and reorder and deliver in time for daughters birthday. Had to request a full refund, which was a painful process aswell.
