Ordered items which were committed to be delivered for 23rd December, only to receive an email on evening of 23rd to say it was delayed and would not be available for pick up until next week!! Very poor service and communication.

I ordered a number of items on Monday. The options for delivery were given as arriving by 23rd December to pick up from a box collection service or Asda. Alternatively have post office or DHL deliver it. Having tried the box option in the post and been delivered fresh air i didn't choose this option. The other from Asda is at least twenty miles there and another back. So I chose DHL. I expected them to deliver by 28th and id lucky to be sooner. Every day I check both the website and for e -mail confirmation and so tonight, Friday night I check and it says that Decathlon.co.uk have done absolutely nothing with my order. They have done nothing to tell me why there is a delay and have changed the status to show they will prepare my items by 28th. Well whoopy doo to you Decathlon, That is complete rubbish.

I made an online order on the 15th of December to collect instore and was given the 22nd as my delivery date. Needless to say I'm now having to phone in on Christmas Eve to find out if my delivery has arrived. This is a Christmas present and I doubt it will be on time. An absolute shambles. 9 days to deliver to a store is unacceptable.

Horrendous service, delivered a faulty bike with pedals missing, that I have no real issue with as these things happen, its the customer service I received, well lack off, afterwards. I waited on a replacement with absolutely zero communication despite using all means of contact, this company is expanding in the UK and quite clearly don't have the infrastructure to support it, it was stick your head in the sand stuff, they are condescending and patronising in their replies when I finally received one. I gave them plenty of notice that I wanted to cancel the order and guess what turned up today a bike that we no longer want or need as we have purchased a replacement. I certainly wont be using this company again as they are a complete shambles and no doubt have let many families down this Christmas, you should be genuinely ashamed of the service you have been providing customers.

Ordered an item on 14/12/2106 (DCUK2776619 ), with the guarantee deliver at their store by 20/12/2016, have called the customer service number of time but are not very helpful, when asked what is the delay they don't have correct information and answered I get back from their team is "if I want to cancel the order they can do that for you". So my question is why did DECATHLON accept the order and charged my cred card if they can not deliver, its the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I don't think they will deliver the product before Christmas, I have lost hope now!!!

I love Decathlon products, they are good quality and affordable. I work out a lot and always love treating myself to Decathlon stuff

Nobody knows where my order is :it's the 22nd December and it should have been dispatched by today: I called and had to leave a message and no one has contacted me. This is not what I call a good service.

Copy of the message sent to them through the Paypal Resolution Centre: >> I already used the "Contact Us" form on Decathlon.co.uk 7 days after my online order. I received an apologetic email: "We are awaiting the stock transfer and making every effort to resolve this problem and dispatch your order as soon as possible however we may not be able to meet our estimated delivery date." YOU ALREADY DIDN'T. "We will further monitor your order and keep you informed in case of any problems that may cause further potential delays." Well, you didn't keep me informed on anything. 12 days after the online order, it's still showing as "In progress". Commerce isn't rocket science - EITHER YOU HAVE THE GOODS and you send them to me, OR YOU DON'T and you offer a refund or a combination of the two. You could of sent the 4 items I ordered one by one, in separate orders, according to your stock.

Seems like I am not the only person duped into a placing an order on the basis it would be delivered before Christmas.................shame on you Decathlon!!!! On principle if I don't get it before Christmas I will send the entire order back, I encourage everyone in this predicament to do the same, very untrustworthy to say the least.

Placed order for Christmas for my daughter who is 10 years old. See details Order date : 16/12/2016 order DCUK2781985 to be delivered on the 21/12 Received email 22/12 say sorry your order has been delayed. Great no Christmas presents ! Called your contact number but no one answers. What are you going to do?

Again I find myself writing a review SHOCKING company I have been lied to and fobbed off with any excuse my original delivery date 16/12/16 i have phoned many times to be told 6 different dates, after a call this morning I have been told it MAY be with me by Saturday. And the two bike will come fully assembled not in a box are they joking where am I supposed to hide two fully assembled bikes. When asked what sort of protection the bikes would have ie. Bubble wrap plastic cover to protect from scratching they couldn't tell me. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

Absolutely disgraceful! I ordered a girls bike for my daughter on the 15th of December for Christmas – on the basis that the website said the ordered would be prepared before the 20th. Eight days on and not only has the bike still not arrived, the order status on the website says: “We are committed to prepare your order before 20/12/2016”. In my opinion the information about the orders is extremely ambiguous and none committal, despite there being 'track your order' buttons and options available. The loyalty team also failed to respond to my email, send via the website, or voicemail. After finally speaking with someone today (22nd), I was told the bike had not even left the warehouse. Looking back, the 'reviews' section at the bottom of the website is rated 'excellent' 4.5, I only wish I'd clicked the link and read the reviews. If I had done that, I’d never have placed an order. I will never buy anything from them online again!

Good afternoon, I expected to receive my item today. And I don't know why, in 7 days after order you have send me an email that you do not have this item any more and I should choose a subtitute product or to cancel the order. I can not cancel the order because it is in progress, I've tried to call you customer service several times today and nobody picks up the phone. It is not the service I was expected from Decathlon. In other countries Decathlon is working quick and on terms, I can not understand why in UK it should be different. I am disappointed in your service. I want my refund as soon as possible! Starting to panic as I read the reviews. I have ordered my sons bike and looking at reviews I doubt I'll get it for Christmas as its overdue already. I will have a little boy on Christmas Day thinking santas not brought it! Disgraceful

* would give zero stars if I could! Faulty bike returned 05/12/16. Chased a refund several times and received one reply yesterday saying my PayPal account has been refunded - it hasn't! So, I asked which email address the refund was issued to and the reply received was: "Unfortunately, we don't have the information requested. We would suggest you to check the transactions in all your PayPal accounts. Thank you for your patience and have a nice day." This is completely unhelpful and does not answer my query at all; obviously I checked my PayPal account and there is no sign of a refund only the original debit. I've just called 020 7064 3000 and been advised that I will receive a reply by the end of the week... that isn't acceptable! I do not understand why it is such a big problem to issue a refund to the PayPal address that payment was taken from?

Placed an order over a week ago, after carefully checking that it would arrive in time for Christmas. Online order says "We are committed to prepare your order before [two days ago]" but still in "being prepared" state. Guess that Christmas present won't arrive on time!

Wish I could give no stars...placed my order on the 6/12/16 with delivered advised for the Monday which was perfect as the order was needed by the Thursday. Called Monday the order hadn't even left their depot. I explained that if it would get here my Thursday before 1pm there was no point in sending it. They assured me it would be here and I received a notice to say the order left Tuesday, I received a text to say order would be delivered on the Wednesday...waited in all day nothing turned up. I phoned DPD and they advised the driver has ran out of time so returned it to depot. I was assured it would be delivered before 1pm the next day, as you can imagine 1pm came and no order arrived. I called Decathlon this time and I got a person who may as well have been a recorded message as he kept reading the same thing of the screen that I could have read myself....'Item will be delivered by the end of the day'. Brain cells are obviously desired but not required for this job. I returned the items when I received them after 6pm on the Thursday night so I am not £11 out of pocket for returning the items plus the charges for all the calls I made. Sent email absolutely no contact at all....if they think this is it they are wrong...I will be calling after the 5 working grace period and then will take it to their ombudsman for distance selling, if you have to return an item due to their mistake they must refund return cost!!

Order placed on 14th Dec. with commitment to ship by 20th Dec. Today is 21st; product has not been delivered and I've had no news from decathlon or courier. Have called the 'Loyalty team' phone number at least 20 times in the last two days to change delivery method as I won't be home anymore to receive delivery if not delivered today, but no answer. This is absolutely ridiculous for a company this big.
