I am a little disappointed with my first order at Decathlon. I ordered swim suits for my girls over a week before going on holiday and some clothes for my son. The order didn't get treated for 4 days because of an item not in stock but I was not notified so I had to call and ask for an express delivery but the clothes arrived after we had left for holiday. The boy clothes were great and the right size but all the swim suits for the girls were ridiculously small for the size stated and I had to return all 6 pairs! Refund was quick and efficient. I will hesitate to use again.

Dear Alan, thank you for your feedback and your time. We are sorry to hear you are experiencing problems with your delivery. We have tracked your parcel in Royal Mail website and we would like to confirm the order was delivered on 12/09/2016. If the parcel was not delivered to yourself, could you please check with your neighbours and in any suitable locations around the property where the parcel could have been left. Royal Mail does not require a signature for the deliveries therefore they can leave parcels to other members of the family or neighbours. If you are still unable to locate the parcel you may call directly Royal Mail on 03457740740 and check if the parcel is in the local office otherwise please contact us on 02070643000 and we will be able to open an investigation. Good customer service but very unhappy with a pair of hiking trousers that zip off. Wore them for a day and ended up with scratched legs where the zip off bit stitching is, considering the fact that the description has a bit that says reduced chafing it really didnt live up to that!! Cannot wear them again so was a complete waste of money!!

Some of the products are really good but others are hot and miss. I recently purchased a pair of Nike trainers in my size (according to measuring and my several other current pairs of this trainers from this brand). However they are at least 2 sizes to large and very narrow. Makes me question how they source these products as these are clearly factory rejects or a miss sized.

Having checked the status in my online account, decathlon are yet to dispatch my order 48 hours after I placed it online, with just the commitment that they will 'prepare' my order within 7 days! I'll not be ordering online from Decathlon again if the service is always this slow, simply not good enough for online delivery.

The delay in the delivery is because some of the items you placed are coming from France which at least takes 4 business days to arrive to the UK. How decathlon made me happy - they delivered some of the items I wanted. Unfortunately others were out of stock and I had to chase refunds

First.y, my son was reprimanded by a member of staff for dropping a football.....not impressed. Then we went to collect the order and figured the single person at a computer to the left of the cash desks, was the best option, only to be told to join the queue...again, not in a particularly nice manner. Woman who served us was fine, despite struggling to find the order as it was packaged in a box. Overall, not a particularly good experience.

Product was good but you need to train your staff on the InPost system. I do not like giving out my mobile number to everyone so left that blank on the order and gave you my landline. When I went to collect at the InPost locker they asked for my mobile number but did not recognise it and refused to open I had to come home and check my order and then rang Inpost. I found that you had input my mobile number as 07000000000!!! Your IT system need to trap orders that do not have the mobile number box filled in and your staff must not make things up!!

i was very disappointed to find that the item that i was looking for online.i was told that they where in stock but when i got there.they had run out the staff member told me the should have been taken down. that did not make me feel any better.

I ordered stuff online and picked it up at store as the online goods weren't stocked in store - at the same time I was trying other stuff that was available in store. So the order process was fine, returning wrong size goods was easy (I ordered multiple sizes to try in store), what was not easy was finding goods I'd seen online in store. It wasn't that easy for the staff either, so better store labelling would help or maybe flagging up where stock will be located in store when you're looking online??

D provide access to a range of sporting good not available elsewhere on the High Street. Problem 1: Increasingly you have to order on-line (paying in advance) and then go into the store to try things for size / assess quality / check colour seen on screen matches the actual article in your hand (and potentially obtain a refund if not suitable). Problem 2: Sports like Fencing while possibly available in other parts of the D empire on the continent aren't available in the UK. Bonus 1: Their refund policy is very good.
