Ordered online for click and collect, product broke within 1 month, requested replacement, had to drive 20 miles to receive replacement as customer services refused to send replacement in a small jiffy bag to my house (although they posted it to a store) as I had used click and collect originally. So not only did Decathlon supply a faulty product, they inconvenienced me further by forcing me to make an unnecessary journey to collect a small item. I do not buy from Decathlon now. Unfortunate really as staff in store are helpful, customer service are not.

Unfortunately we have to confirm that the click and collect service follows a different system from the home delivery procedure and we have no facilities to change the shipping methods, not even for returns and replacements. I ordered the X-Lite jacket having very much admired one bought at Christmas for a good friend of mine. However, hers looked so neat and smart but was without a hood - and that's the problem for me. Not only have I found that the medium size is too large for me but the hood sits very awkwardly on me and looks ridiculously bulky in comparison to the rest of the very neat design. That alone is the reason for the poor rating, as service was actually excellent. Having not long received the item, I will be returning it in due course for a refund in full. I would normally have done this more promptly but we have been away on holiday. Apologies, therefore, for the delay. I can honestly confirm that item has not been used other than for trying on purposes.

I gave a poor overall rating for the following issues: I ordered in the Decathlon at Southampton a Fitbit Surge smart watch. My issue is that the shop assistant ordered automatically for me the small size watch. I realized after getting the package that there is 2 size of the strap exist (small and large). Why I should suspect? The shop assistant should ask which size of the watch will fit on my wrist. So I had to go back to Decathlon (cost of the expensive petrol not even mentioned) to change it, order it again and waiting to reimburse the money for the original purchase. Also I ordered a Asics running shoes (you didn`t have on stock at that moment), and after telling to the shop assistant my european size she ordered the wrong size shoes so I had turn back again and exchange it. Hope you will be able to give adequate training about your products to your staff. Thank you!

I bought a knee support. I had to cut the label off as it was scratching me which meant that when I discovered the support was very ineffective and, in fact, made my lower leg swell I didn't feel I could send it back.

Placed order online. When i got order home an item was picked wrong. Returned to shop and original item was not in stock although computer said it was. Had to get a refund instead.

I always buy these pumps and they have always been a good fit until this time. It seem the pumps are much narrower than before and also less elastic used Which makes them a very poor fit, so much so I am unable to wear them :-(

I good product, but very poor delivery service. Item ordered 22/4, with an estimated delivery date of 26/4. Heard nothing until 30/4 when I received a delivery note from Royal Mail to say that a DHL parcel was in their system and that there was £3.00 to pay. So much for free delivery. I guess that someone cocked up somewhere! Regards Roger Blackmore

Great product, but it didn't arrive on the date you said it would. It was a day later. You offer different couriers, but don't explain who is most reliable etc. It would be better to say within 3 days than a specific date if it isn't guaranteed.

I have used your Surrey quays store for quite a few years but the last couple of visits in the last few months have been less than impressed. Store has generally been cluttered with things off the shelves, the self service tills are frustrating and slow, things rarely scan and I had had to wait for an assistant to put numbers in manually, security guards on door generally treat paying customers as suspected criminals. Not a fun experiance

Visited Sheffield store to return some ski boots which I'd ordered online that didn't fit. The manager was rude and seemed very uninterested in cooperating when I explained the price I'd bought them for was different to the since drop in price he could see online. I explained when I'd bought them and he achnowledged this was after the decrease online however was blunt and seemed frustrated. Wasn't a positive experience and I'd strongly consider buying my ski boots elsewhere in future.

Love the store but buying online for a cycle that was out of stock for about five months then did not email me like it was supposed to when it finally became available was disappointing

The horse riding gloves were very cheap so you wouldn't expect long life, however the stitching started to come apart on the first wear which was disappointing.

I ordered a grey golf cap. I received a black one. I could have bought a black one cheaper elsewhere. Decathlon is a great shop in France, but maybe online and in the UK, it is not as good.

Bought a pop up seconds shelter on line, loved it. BUT wanted the correct Quechua groundsheet to fit it, Decathlon had never heard of it and tried to sell me a generic one (too long and too narrow). I emailed Decathlon HQ and they ignored me. Is this good customer service??? what do you think???

It took a almost 10 days for them to assemble the items in our order. Then there was a technical error which meant our address was incomplete on the package. Despite us noticing and contacting them about it they were unable to correct it and the package was returned to them. At this point, there was no more time for us to receive the items before we needed them so we cancelled the order.

We bought an inflatable tent and a hand pump which completely snapped in two at first use! We were really disappointed by the quality of the item to say the least as the tent was inflatable only and we could not use the tent when we went camping last week-end!!!!! The customer service has been great. They have sent a replacement pump but too late for our week-end away.

Bicycle arrived in shop and no one contacted me to say it was there and if my daughter hadn't went in for something else and saw bike sitting We would still be waiting for email from you. When my daughter questioned if it was for us they told her it had been in for a few days and checked name then decided to send me an email! So pretty poor service.
