we booked our return ticket for Las Palmas - Tenerife connection. The service provider was ARMAS. According to the given port location by Directferries, we could not find the ferry location though we were in the port 1h before departure. We had to walk to few locations without success. When we were on the return journey, we realized that there is a shuttle service from city to ferry in Las Palmas. Such information needs to be provided to customer while buying the ticket. So, for the outbound journey, we had to buy another ticket, from another service, costing another Euro 100. When we informed this situation to Directferry after our journey. They said that we should have contacted the service provider. If Directferry sales tickets, they should take the responsibility to provide the correct location to customers. It is not understandable, why they mentioned to contact service provider. Based on this experience, I will never buy ticket through Directferry, but first search the local ferry operators, and get the ticket and other relevant information. Also, we found that the other operator provides a good customer service compared to the one with Directferry.

shocking experience trying to amend a booking with Direct Ferries for which I had paid an additional £30 to have the right to cancel. It was a complete rip off, and Direct Ferries were unhelpful - their customer service centre use email, so they deliberately ruin your holiday by making trying to change anything as drawn out and painful as possible My advice - go directly to the ferry operator - as well as it being cheaper, it would be difficult ot get worse service!

Sólo 1 vez y no más , en general dentro del barco no es como lo ponen en las recesiones, limpieza raya lo moral, y dentro del barco, pues eso para una travesía corta puede pasar. El problema es la poca cara dura Italiana, que la verdad es que no sabes si llegaras a puerto o cuando. Retrasos en todos sus barcos ( siempre!! Hablamos con varias personas que hacían el trayecto 1 o 2 veces por año) y la tripulación no informa de nada, los retrasos siempre los justifican por causas marinas medioambientales, por lo que las reclamaciones no servirán para nada. En fin, si es la última opción,bien..si no mejor hacer 2000km con el coche

They took my money and they never send me an email or booking ID. I keep email them because they don't have another way to communicate and they keep telling me that they don't see any reservation.. The money was gone and I have no ticket. I send them a screenshot of the purchase from my bank account and they keep telling me the same. The worst experience I had. They can't manage anything. It's a fraud. Stay away.

I asked a change in my ticket, they made me pay an extra money for the inconvenience. I made it and now o don’t have neither the first ticket nor the last one. They didn’t help me during the process and the comunication was almost 0. Don’t do it with them

We booked round trip ferries from Māori to Capri. Due to illness we had to move our reservation within 48 hours. We started trying to contact you 14 hours before departure and could not get any response. We missed our ferry the next morning. When I finally got though on the chat line and wanted to re-schedule I was told I could only reschedule my return and that I had to buy new ticket for the outbound. Even though I tried to reach direct ferries well in advance to request a change. I rescheduled my return and purchased new outbound tickets. I then never received new PDF documents reflecting the return change. I kept being sent pdf documents with my original return date. It took me four different online chats totaling almost 10 hours to finally get an online agent to send me the correct return pdf showing the correct return date. I am shocked by what it took me to just move a trip because of illness not to mention that I had to pay twice for 2 tickets because I could not reach anyone at your company. As a professional advertising person I plan on posting this horrible experience on every travel and review site. You should be ashamed To run a booking company in such an unprofessional manner.

Appalling customer service from Direct Ferries. There is no mobile number, and an extremely slow response time via their enquiry form. I had changed my booking to a new date and time, received an email confirmation from Direct Ferries and the booking had amended via the website. What Direct Ferries failed to do was contact Brittany Ferries to inform them of the change. I had arrived at the Port for an overnight ferry with 2 children and NO booking. Outrageous! I then had to pay extra to even get onto the ferry, without a cabin may I add, which I had originally booked and paid for through Direct Ferries. The service from the beginning was awful, and I strongly advise to NOT use Direct Ferries, I will never use their service EVER again!

I would like to know how their compliance to operate can be reviewed as they are not a company that can be trusted . They have no understanding of customer service and are impossible to have a person to contact when things don’t go as promised. I have given them my contact number as they have left me abandoned in Italy

Ferry from Villa San Giovanni to Messina on 12th June 2023. Information on the booking documents we received was totally inadequate and wrong and shows they no nothing of the circumstances at Villa San Giovanni. You will be able to get your tickets when you check in. Wrong the ticket office is no where near the check in to the ferry. Fortunately a local guy helped us for a 20euro bung. You need to be at the terminal 2 hours ahead of the time. Wrong or at least unnecessary as the ferries are running every 20mins or 30 mins. Ideally you would just turn up at the ticket place and buy a ticket for 33 euros and thats that. Very disappointed as i thought buying in advance was a good idea. Think again!

Dishonest company...they constantly cancel trips and withdraw money from the customer's account without ever having traveled. They do not refund money or respond to emails. Corrupt Company!!!

I BOOKED FLEXI TICKETS AT EXTRA COST BUT THEY WOULD NOT HONOUR THEM. ALWAYS GO DIRECT TO THE FERRY OPERATOR. THESE ARE A GANG OF SCAM ARTISTS. A SHOWER OF SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAYS. NOT TO BE TRUSTED. ONLY OUT TO SCAM THE CUSTOMER.

HORRIBLE company and a total rip off! I cancelled the reservation within minutes when I realized they were charging hundreds of dollars more than the boat company. Direct Ferries says they are going to keep $101.23 of my money! Totally unfair and unethical. DO NOT do business with Direct Ferries.

The most upsetting run-around I've been given. been at going into its 3rd week now. They are playing games with a lot of money, constantly pass over your problem to someone else, give you the same excuses, and won't even find the opportunity, to be honest. Something deeply problematic is happening here, please just steer clear and book your ferries with the ferry companies instead.

SCAM. They take your money, try to buy you a ticket and if they cant they say they will refund your money (for 15 days you always get the same polite reply "please allow 10 working days blablabla", but the money never arrives. Just go directly to the boat companies to buy your ticket :) It works fine!

I am not sure why i have yet to receive my refund Booked tickets for 24th Feb, but system picked up wrong date on the 27th. I rebooted another business class far for 2, for the 28th, in trust i will get my refund. Until today the treatment is soooo bad; no response/just stall me.

Direct Ferries is NOT LEGIT and ignores emails Direct Ferries will not reply to my 3 emails. They sent a cancellation notice to me about the Salerno-Amalfi route on Positano Jet. However, Positano Jet says that the INAG (booking) number from Direct Ferries is wrong (i.e. false). We booked 3 return tickets which cost us over 60 euros. Direct Ferries will not respond to my requests for a refund. If a Direct Ferries representative is reading this, please check your email and refund me. I will correct this review if that happens. Otherwise, to all future customers looking at booking with Direct Ferries, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Direct Ferries Booking DFP157517566, Destination Gotland Booking 10190907 Never ever use Direct Ferries, it is robbery in broad daylight. They have just sold me a return ticket with Destination Gotland for 4580,74 SEK, and then at Destination Gotland bought the same ticket for 2574,00 SEK. For a simple booking they charge 2006,74 SEK for themselves. This is a profit of 80%. For the cheapest journey without meals, cabin, reserved seats or cancellation. I will fight for my money to the last krone. Never ever use Direct Ferries!
