Hi Dale, thanks for your review. 1/5 stars, seems a little harsh, especially when you have gotten calls and messages about your 4 dogs. Looking at the ad, I would add in more images, you can have up to 10 on the ad. We have cleaned up the formatting in the ad to make it easier to read. If you need any more help please contact us at support@dogs.ie
“The service itself is great in terms of details of the dog advertised. People enquiring and promising to view the dog can be very unreliable and don't follow up which is unfair to other people interested.”
Hi Thomas, You can edit the price and the ad title, as well as the images.
We have had to lock the description / breed & microchip information on ads, as people were selling multiple dogs from the same ad. If you email support@dogs.ie we will help you do do the changes.
“Ad only been up a week but although it got good viewing I've not had any queries or sales. I do think it's a good service though and easily accessible”
“Fantastic. Our ad was up within 30 minutes of us placing it. Great protection for dogs as the ad will not be uploaded unless all regulations are in place. Couldnt recoment highly enough”
Hi Tim, thanks for your review, I’m sorry you are not happier. Please email support@dogs.ie and we can get you sorted out straight away.
We had to lock the fields as some people were changing the breeds to sell multiple dogs.
“The site is good, well run and the admin team are supportive. However through no fault of the site this is the second time Ive advertised my dog for rehoming on the site. it has cost me 100 euro so far. Unfortunately Ive had no serious responses yet, only time wasters or, in my opinion unsuitable homes. Ie people wanting to keep her outside. I'm hoping to find someone soon as she is a lovely dog but does not get on with the other dog.”
Hi Anon, Thank you for your time for your feedback. We have removed one of the person who has contacted you from our platform. Please report other messages to support@dogs.ie
We also run adultdogs.ie to help dogs over 2 years of age get more visibility with people. About 90% of ads are for puppies and young dogs, so ads can get a bit lost in the mix. Hopefully you will get some legitimate contacts soon and get a new home for your dog.
