Hi David, Thank you for your review. I understand your concern about traffic on our site. We continuously work to improve our visibility and attract more potential buyers for breeders like yourself. Looking at your ad we feel you could benefit from having more than one image shared of the dog you are selling. Ads with 4 or more do best. Also a longer description could possibly help too. Thanks for your input, and we hope to see more success for you soon! Best wishes, Team dogs.ie

Hi Miroslav, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I'm sorry to hear that you're not satisfied with the response to your ad. The cost of €50 allows for your ad to reach a wide audience, but I understand that getting interest can sometimes be challenging. Your ad has been seen over 300 times in the last 4 days. You have listed your 1 year old crossbreed dog at €800 this could be causing the issue. The recommended price would be about 1/2 of this or less. If you reach out to this message we can help optomise your ad. Thanks again for your feedback.

While the lady approving the advert was very helpful the response to the advert was extremely disappointing. I only received one contact and that was looking for information rather than a serious buyer

Thanks for your review, and I'm sorry you are not happier. Our prices for ads are upfront, so there shouldn't be any surprises about the cost to place an advert. On review of your ad, we think that one potential issue is the price. Your ad has been viewed over 850 times in the past 5 days. Hi Paddy, thanks for sharing your thoughts regarding the cost of advertising on our website. We do value your input, as it helps us improve the experience for all our users. I understand your concerns about the expense, and I would like to point out that the advertising fee is made clear upfront before any listings are placed. We believe in transparency, which is why the cost is always highlighted during the listing process to ensure there are no surprises. That being said, we appreciate that everyone has different needs and expectations when it comes to selling pets, and if our pricing didn't align with your expectations, we completely understand if you may have considered alternative platforms or selling your dogs directly. If there's anything we can do to enhance your experience moving forward or if you have any further suggestions, please don't hesitate to let us know. Thank you once again for using our service, and we wish you the very best in finding loving homes for your dogs.

Ad description should be able to be edited and there should be a video link option Very pricey. Should be a price per animal.

Hi Cath, thank you for sharing your thoughts with us and I’m sorry you are not happier. I understand your concerns about the ability to edit ad descriptions and the absence of a video link option. If you email us we can help you with this. Regarding the pricing, we aim to provide a quality service that connects dog lovers efficiently. We charge per ad as people were failing to list all dogs in their ads. There are other websites that may be cheaper but they don’t get the same traffic we do and it may take longer to sell your dogs.

Hi there, thanks for your feedback. I can understand your concerns regarding the pricing for advertising. We strive to provide a platform that reaches a wide audience of dedicated dog lovers. Our prices are upfront and so there shouldn't have been any surprises. It is harder to re- home older dogs, and your dog being 10 months old, may be one of the reasons people are slow to reach out. Also the price set at €850 may also be a bit high for people.

Hi Anon, Thanks for the feedback. Can you give more particulars of the issues you have posting an ad? I don’t think DoneDeal always asked for microchips, which was a bit of an issue. If you reply to this message we would love to hear any suggestions.

Hi Anon, thanks for your review, I'm sorry you are not happy. The prices are public before you place an ad, if you weren't happy with the price you could have considered selling your dogs through a different method.

Dear Anon, I'm sorry you are not happier with the service, there definitely are cheaper alternative websites. We charge the same price for an ad for one puppy or the whole litter. We did spend a bit of time helping you in January to register as a Registered Seller of Pets, running this type of support does have its costs.
Posted 1 year ago
I haven't received any messages about the pups yet. I would suggest being able to post them before 7 weeks to allow more time to find them homes before they are 8 weeks.

Hi Ciaran Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Your ad has been seen over 850 times so far. It may be an idea to update the images and to consider bumping the ad for more visibility (costs €12) . The dogs do seem to be fairly priced compared with other dogs in the category. Maybe you could expand the description a bit too.

Hi John, Thanks for your review & I'm sorry you are not happier. I hope your puppy found a new home. There are other free and cheaper options that you could have used if you were not happy with the price. Our prices are clear and transparent, so there shouldn't be any surprises. We charge the same if you are selling a litter of 10 puppies or just 1 dog, like yourself. This is to keep things as simple and clear as possible.

It should be made possible that you can actually edit the description after a couple of days. Not just too change photos or to mark as sold. The pricing is very expensive for what it actually allows you to do, €50 and you can't even edit your description, and 12 to bump your ad is atrocious.so €74 euro for one month of advertising. Pricing needs to change and more edit options for your advertisers.

Hi Anon, Thanks for your review and I'm sorry you are not happier. If you need changes in your ad please email support@dogs.ie and we'll get it done straight away. We had to lock the field as people were selling different dogs in each ad. For the fee €50 your ad is live for 30 days, €12 bump adds 5 days and brings it back to the top again.

Hi Matthew, Thanks for your review and feedback. I’m sorry you are not happier. Do you have suggestions on how we can help you put the information in faster? For example we have the option already where an AI robot can write your ad based on 7 fields being selected. A lot of the information is required by law, like microchip numbers / country of birth / age while the rest is important to create a good advert that will attract buyers. A bit of effort in creating an ad goes a long way.

Dog was sold within a week, it was only one puppy feel the price should be different for one and 5 dogs.

Thanks for your review Louise. I’m happy to hear you sold your dog but I’m sorry it wasn’t a 5 star experience. The price per ad is public and shouldn’t be a cause for a surprise. If you weren’t happy with the price to advertise you should have really have considered other avenues of selling your puppy.

Hi Paul, Thanks for your review. I'm sorry you are not happier. Your ad was seen almost 450 times. It could have been that your dog was priced a little high at €900. I'm glad you did find a solution for rehoming in the end.

Hi Niall, Thanks for your review and I'm sorry you are not happier. Your ad has been seen almost 400 times and 5 people have sent you messages through the website, you can check them at https://dogs.ie/messages Looking at your ad, I'd say some work is needed on the photos. You can upload up to 10 images, and you've only put in 3. The images you've added also seem to be old so I would try to post actual images of your dogs. Please contact us if you are having issues with your images.

Hi,,because the breed of dog I have advertised is rare,,,people won’t look for them,,,but if they photos were put up every few days on front page,,,they would see them,,,they are now gone back too far….and it’s too expensive to keep paying for the boost of advert…Maybe it would be fair to pay for the boosts after 3 or 4 weeks….regards Marian Hayes…

Hi Marian, Thanks for your review and I'm sorry you are not happier. We have already tried to help you through our support system, and you even said "thanks a million", so a 2/5 is a bit of a surprise. Anyway, looking at the ad, I think they are priced a little on the high side for cross breeds. You can edit the price at any stage. I'd look at the other doodles to get a better idea of pricing.
