Hi Sandra, Thanks for your review. I'm sorry you are not happier with the experience. When you posted your ad you chose to post the dogs for sale with our VeriPet system, that adds an extra layer of security to your ad by sending the registered owner of the dog an secure code by SMS to verify your ownership. This extra step can take a few additional minutes. I hope you found great new homes for your dogs.

Hi Bernadatte, I'm sorry you are not happier with the expierence. I looked into your support ticket history and I see that we replied to your messages within 10 minutes each time you contacted us. Your phone number was on a different account, so this caused the delay in accepting your ad.

Once the add in posted I’m unable to edit the text of the add. I was unable the change the status of the IKC registration.

Hi Alan I'm sorry you are not completely happy with your ad. Your ad is showing up as IKC registered now. You can email support@dogs.ie at any time to update your ad. We had to lock certain fields in the ad as people were putting in all sorts of inaccurate information in them, I'm sure you can imagine the challenge here.

I have not got any replies to my ad for my puppies so far.. I have reduced my price, bumped up my add since my add went live on Thursday. one lady did ring alright but never got back to me. I do notice there are quite alot of Yorkies for sale in the site. I'm hoping that buyers will contact me soon. I know this is not the fault of dogs.ie and previously last year I sold puppies and got multiple replies but it's not the case this time. I have reduced my asking price by 250 now for pure bred Yorkie puppies and still no enquiries.

Hi Mary, Sorry you have not gotten than many enquiries. We do have 20 other ads open for Yorkshire Terriers at the moment, so there is a bit of competition between breeders. I've updated your title to make it clearer that you are selling purebred Yorkies (rather than their names) hopefully that will help catch the eye of some people in the coming days.

Hi Sean I'm sorry you are not happy with your Staffordshire Bull Terrier dogs ad. Looking at your ad, it is currently the most expensive ad in the category. I also see you've only updated 3 photos, I'd recommend you adding in a few more images (you can upload up to 10). Your ad has been seen about 200 times so far.

The add process is expensive and unessarialry restrictive .also the quality of many new owner is very entitled and lacking any basic education nessary for dog ownership ...would like to see the focus shift to tackle bad dog buyers who subsequently dump their dogs

Hi Anon I’m sorry you are not happy with our service. I see you have placed other ads with us and our call log shows we spoke for over an hour last week and multiple times before that, and we helped with an introduction to the Department of Agriculture for you. We do have resources in place help prepare people for their puppy purchase, such as our ebook with over 100 pages of content. The price of ads is up front before you purchase and has not changed since August 2019. Ads have had to be locked down as some people were putting in other dogs for sale or information that was not longer accurate. I hope you can understand this. If you email support@dogs.ie you can have your ad changed at any time.

Hi Eileen, We have answered your calls about getting access to your account, so we are a bit confused about this review. In fact we answered your call earlier today. Our support email address is always the fastest way to get replies, support@dogs.ie

Hi Sinead, Sorry you are not 100% happy. We have had to lock ads after they are published due to people selling different dogs from the same ad. If you email support@dogs.ie we can help to edit the ad for you.

Site does not take into account non email or non mobile phone sellers. I live in very poor signal area, and this causes delay in receiving interest in pups. I did provide landline number on Ad but buyers ignored this, and were timewasters, obviously did not read any details of pups and parents provided on Ad.

Hi John, Thanks for your review and I'm sorry you are not happier with it. Not getting any calls is a bit strange, generally people will get some calls at least. I've updated your ad there a little to read a bit better on mobile phones. Hopefully this will help to get you some callers. We do have a higher number of dogs available at this time of the year, so there is quite the competition between sellers.

Hi Anon, I'm sorry you are not happy with the results of your ad. Your ad has been seen over 450 times since it was published, we do have 20 ads in the Springer Spaniel category and 63 individual dogs, so there is a bit of competition between sellers. Your ad would also be the 2nd highest price dogs of the 20 in the category too.

Poor response vs other sites

Hi Ewa, Your ad has been seen over 400 times since it was posted. Did you receive any callers for it ? As far as we are aware we are the most popular Irish site for dogs for sale. We have 7 ads in the Rottweiler category and 20 individual dogs and your dogs would be on the top based on price, so this might be one reasons for a poorer response.
