“It should be made possible that you can actually edit the description after a couple of days. Not just too change photos or to mark as sold.
The pricing is very expensive for what it actually allows you to do, €50 and you can't even edit your description, and 12 to bump your ad is atrocious.so €74 euro for one month of advertising.
Pricing needs to change and more edit options for your advertisers.”
Hi Anon,
Thanks for your review and I'm sorry you are not happier. If you need changes in your ad please email support@dogs.ie and we'll get it done straight away. We had to lock the field as people were selling different dogs in each ad. For the fee €50 your ad is live for 30 days, €12 bump adds 5 days and brings it back to the top again.
“Great website they carried out all the necessary checks on the information provided for each pup to make sure everything is above board would definitely recommend this website”
“Found this site very good, excellent communication from buyers, everything is above board regarding microchip and vaccinated dogs. Very happy to sell. I've had all excellent people and my puppies went to a good home.”
Hi Anon, I'm sorry you are not happier with your ad. Looking at it there has been over 650 views of the advert in the past 4 days and 11 people have asked to see your phone number. As the dogs are a cross breed, it may be an idea to add in some information about what you believe their temperament will be. Please contact us if you need any more help with the ad, support@dogs.ie
Hi Linda, thanks for your review. I'm sorry you are not fully hapopy with the experience. If you email support@dogs.ie we can help get your ad look like you want.
“My ad has been up for a few days and I have had only one contact who ultimately bought elsewhere. I feel that the fee to advertise is quite steep if no sale results. Perhaps a partial refund should be introduced where no sale results. My cost for sale is below the price of other sellers for a purebred IKC pup of this breed, so it’s not an unreasonable cost that has caused lack of contact from buyers.”
Thanks for your review Anon, and I'm sorry you are not happier. Your ad has been seen 300+ times since it was published 4 days ago.
We have updated the format of your ad to be a bit more readable. Here are some further tips:
You are selling a 5 month old dog this may be causing people to question why it's being sold at this age. Perhaps you can update the description to add some more context in here too.
In your ad you've said the price is fixed, if there is any wiggle room on price you can set this from fixed to negotiable.
I would also encourage you to upload some images where the dog is clearer, and not too zoomed in, so someone can get a better idea of the puppy.
“We had never had a litter of pups before, and hadn't a clue what to do, but the staff of dogs.ie told us all the steps. Without them we would have been lost.”
