“Ordered some doors and handles etc from door supplies online based on their website promise of fast delivery and their extortionate delivery costs.
You’d assume it would be very quick wouldn’t you?
Wrong!
It takes them a day or 2 to get in touch to arrange the delivery and then tells me it’s going to be over a week nearly 10 days.
I managed to source my doors etc elsewhere and within an hour of arranging the door delivery I requested they cancel the order completely.
This took nearly 2 days to receive a response by which point the handles etc had been despatched. This is interesting because I had received no confirmation that the handles had been sent nor did I realise the handles would not come with the delivery of the doors.
I’ve now been charged 30% restocking fee after having to send the handles back at my cost because they’re too slow to respond to a refund request.
They should have told me when they responded to the refund request that I would have been charged 30% restocking fee for something that I didn’t want and asked not to be sent…which I still find ludicrous.
My request for the email to be escalated to a manager was also ignored.
However they are quick enough to respond to be rude to me and have a poor attitude when it comes to telling me how much I’m being ripped off!
Oh and they apparently charge £60 for handles to be delivered which I’ve also lost!
A company should not advertise fast delivery and charge a fortune if they cannot provide you tracking for all of your shipments.
Not if they can’t actually provide fast delivery in a world of next day delivery!
I actually ordered and received what I needed from another supplier in the time it took them to respond to my refund request!

Mislead by a number of positive reviews I made a mistake to order from this company 4 LPD doors. They advertise them as solid core oak doors intentionally omitting that it’s just oak “veneer” which is not even what a veneer usually looks like but a cheap plastic film put over MDF core. I’d never buy such doors if they’ve disclosed this in the description.
It gets worse, the doors were unfinished and we put a quality wood primer on them and while the 3 out of 4 doors were ok, one went all bubbly and the “oak veneer” flaked on both sides (!).
When I contacted the customer services, they politely asked to have a detailed description of what’s wrong (I’ve already provided detailed photos), then been doing pointless ping pong of different requests to complete detailed “special forms” to send to the supplier trying their best that I lose patience and give up on £200+ I wasted for that door. After more than a month of this exchange, they bluntly stated we were not supposed to finish these unfinished doors and it’s our fault (?!!) so no replacement or refund. Completely disregarding the fact that the problem was with that particular door which was supplied faulty with poorly glued up “oak veneer” and the fact that the other 3 doors turned out to be just fine after a coat of the same primer and 2 coats of Dulux paint!
I’m now liaising with my credit card provider to recover my money for this faulty door and will be reporting this company to the UK Trading Standards for shoddy business.
Save yourself hassle and buy doors elsewhere!”

Like to rip you off with restocking fees on door handles and also say items are missing on returning goods so they don’t refund you.
Understand restocking fee with doors but not when you mail the handles back at your own cost !!
Use LPD direct for all LPD doors cut out this company!!! Won’t be ripped off”

However, the customer service was terrible - I had to check every couple of weeks myself to be told it was delayed further. Fine but the utter rudeness of the staff was completely unnecessary when I was asking questions.”

Then damaged door received and replacement/refund was refused cause the damage needs to be reported within 3 days of receipt but I didn’t even know the door had arrived until 10 days or so later and even though I reported to damage immediately, they won’t issue a replacement/refund”
