“Poor quality doors and terrible customer service! Avoid like a plague!!!
Mislead by a number of positive reviews I made a mistake to order from this company 4 LPD doors. They advertise them as solid core oak doors intentionally omitting that it’s just oak “veneer” which is not even what a veneer usually looks like but a cheap plastic film put over MDF core. I’d never buy such doors if they’ve disclosed this in the description.
It gets worse, the doors were unfinished and we put a quality wood primer on them and while the 3 out of 4 doors were ok, one went all bubbly and the “oak veneer” flaked on both sides (!).
When I contacted the customer services, they politely asked to have a detailed description of what’s wrong (I’ve already provided detailed photos), then been doing pointless ping pong of different requests to complete detailed “special forms” to send to the supplier trying their best that I lose patience and give up on £200+ I wasted for that door. After more than a month of this exchange, they bluntly stated we were not supposed to finish these unfinished doors and it’s our fault (?!!) so no replacement or refund. Completely disregarding the fact that the problem was with that particular door which was supplied faulty with poorly glued up “oak veneer” and the fact that the other 3 doors turned out to be just fine after a coat of the same primer and 2 coats of Dulux paint!
I’m now liaising with my credit card provider to recover my money for this faulty door and will be reporting this company to the UK Trading Standards for shoddy business.
Save yourself hassle and buy doors elsewhere!”

Like to rip you off with restocking fees on door handles and also say items are missing on returning goods so they don’t refund you.
Understand restocking fee with doors but not when you mail the handles back at your own cost !!
Use LPD direct for all LPD doors cut out this company!!! Won’t be ripped off”
“There were supply issues with one of the doors which meant it was months late - I didn’t mind that. However, the customer service was terrible - I had to check every couple of weeks myself to be told it was delayed further. Fine but the utter rudeness of the staff was completely unnecessary when I was asking questions.”

Ordered 4 doors and 1 of them was not delivered with the rest. Terrible communication. Then damaged door received and replacement/refund was refused cause the damage needs to be reported within 3 days of receipt but I didn’t even know the door had arrived until 10 days or so later and even though I reported to damage immediately, they won’t issue a replacement/refund”
“Not impressed at all, no mention on the website when i ordered the pair of doors and paid that there would be a 8week wait for them, until you get a phone call to tell you there not even in the country!!”
“The Doors are very very flimsy and cheap. The glass ones particularly feel like the glass is about to smash if you wipe the glass (Soho)z Three of the 9 doors I purchased needed to be cut down. No strip or option to buy like for like paint from the supplier. They gave me a code for a "matching" paint. Purchased from B and Q and it isn't matching at all. Was 37.00. Wheb the doors are opened they look awful. Waste of time and money - wouldn't ever buy again or recommend”

I’ve checked all your competitors sites and they all have stock available.
An update as to when I will receive the doors will be greatly appreciated as my customer currently has no internal doors within there house.”
“I am very disappointed with this company. I ordered 5 doors weeks ago and was informed that 3 doors would not be available until the end of March. This was inconvenient but I was prepared to wait. However, i had to chase up the delivery as I still had no notification whatsoever, only to be informed that 3 doors were damaged and delivery could now be mid May, i decided to choose alternative doors which were in stock. 2 of the 5 doors originally ordered were stock items yet theae were not sent out. I was advised i would receive the doors shortly as they were all in stock. Again I chased up this order, onky to be told that the 2 doors from the original were damaged!! I was then advised they would split the order and get the other 3 doors sent out. These have still not been received. This is shocking! As they should have processed the order immediately especially having caused so much inconvenience.
I wont be ordering from this company again.
