I placed and order for a single double sided leaflet and paid for same day processing. The order was dispatched 2 days late and when it arrived was printed incorrectly. In fairness to doxdirect.com they did refund my money in its entirety and quickly. Their customer services responded to my emails promptly and they were very apologetic. However I won't be using them again.

I just felt it very expensive for what you get. Perhaps my fault for opting for cheaper options during the ordering process.

Took much longer than expected despite paying extra for next day printing. Ordered on Sunday. Delivered on Thursday. :(

You may already know this but the printing time and delivery time are separate, and we can't guarantee Royal Mail delivery dates, so for a guaranteed next-day delivery we offer same-day printing and a range of courier delivery options. Hello, I am sorry you are unhappy with your stock, you selected 100gsm Matt paper. It may have been more suitable to select 120gsm for your leaflets if you think it's too thin. The document suffered from very pad paint-through of ink. I was surprised that the document didn't appear to be be laser printed. The binding was fine.

Hello, thank you for your feedback. The file appeared to have show through because your files have been scanned in and the show through is from the page on the reverse. I am have emailed you directly with regards to a free reprint if you can supply a clean file. Many thanks The Doxtors

Cannot fault customer service. However printing quality is poor, alignment and colour. Does no one check the printing before its sent out? Will not be using again.

We usually get great feedback about the quality of our printing, finishing and materials, and when mistakes happen we want to make things right. having ordered a single copy of our report and shown it to our client we needed to order a bulk run of 250 copied for them to pass on to their clients. We were unable to simply ask for a re-run of the previouse order. This seems unbelivably backward of doxdirect, not to offer this option. But we submitted a re-run of the order by using the previouse order as stored in the libaray facility. Sadly this library facility has a clitch that dox direct know about, but do not warn their customers about. The glitch is that it resets the acetate cover option to 'no-cover'. The result was the bulk order for 250 copied of our report did not arrive with our clients as that wanted, not as the copy their had seen and signed off. We looked stupid and risk loosing business because of this.

A short while ago I ordered a couple of proof copies. They were saddle-stiched but had a 'square spine' and lay flat. The paper was of good quality and photographs reproduced well. I would happily have rated them 'very good'. However, the ten copies that arrived today had no folded square spine and do not lay flat and are inclined to spring open at the centrefold, due no doubt partly to the weight of the paper.

Really hard to rate doxdirect.com as more often than not the service is perfect. We rarely have problems with document printing or delivery and use them frequently for small and large orders (12 times a year, around around 80 documents an order). However, when there is a problem (and doxdirect have made 2 printing errors in the last year with us), we appreciate sporadically they will occur. The customer service is appalling. The ease of ordering online is wonderful, the product is great, the delivery is brilliant but we have been upset to have to move our printing requirements to another provider so that we can be assured, when a malfunction happens, the mistake can be rectified easily, swiftly, with flexibility and with no out of pocket expense for ourselves. We have advised, both times, that doxdirect will accept no liability (even though they will admit formatting errors at their end) and therefore not distribute our reprints at their expense.

Hi, In the unfortunate case where a mistake is made, we always reprint or refund, this has never been refused. But we do not offer compensation I am afraid, so the £50 you requested was indeed refused. I offered you a gesture of goodwill discount on your next order, but you declined this. I sent in a photo to be used as part of a poster. When the posters arrived the picture was quote blurred. I appreciate that while the picture used looked ok to me, it could change once enlarged to A3. The company are the experts and not me, it would have been nice to be informed that the picture was unsuitable. Instead I find myself with 100 posters which are of no use to me whatsoever.

Over all we were dissatisfied with the service we received from box direct. The end product had a much darker tone in comparison to the original copy we received, which had to be redone due to the inside being upside down. (This could have easily been sorted if it had been checked prior to sending.) We have had to use them but I am not happy with the finished result of our wedding invites due to the colour of the leaves on the invite as we wanted a softer lighter feel to achieve the look we wanted.
