“Went through them for car hire. They proper stitched me up. Wouldn't use them again. The car hire company told me my car wasn't available anymore because my flight was delayed 24 hours. When I called doyouspain they didn't really want to help me (I dealt with alfonso and natalia on the phone). They weren't the cheapest. You live and learn. Car hire cost me over £350 for 2 weeks when £200 was advertised”
“AVOID. Sent terms and conditions they didn’t keep to and took £100 off me and I didn’t receive my hire car. Customer services unhelpful and laughed at me. AVOID. Sells you insurance you don’t need. AVOID.”
“I had a bad experience with this company sometime ago, but as
their prices are quite competitive on occasions i decided to
give the another go.
I booked a car with them for pick up from a company called Delpaso.
We had to get a bus we where they were and it was like going to the back of beyond.
When we arrived at the counter they asked me my name and then said that they were sorry but they could not supply the car to me as my account had been blocked !!
It was like trying to get blood out of a stone from the guy on the desk as to what had gone on, but in the end I had to accept
that they were not going to give me a car, possibly because
they didn't have one, and I had to ask them to take us back to the airport.
We then had to ring my daughter who lives some way away to come out and collect us, with our baby grand daughter in the back.
As I had already paid them for the car that evening I tried again to book a car via their website.
This time it was via a company called Firefly,who we have actually
used before on several occasions and found to be very good.
The reference to the booking was prefixed with PRE(normally DYS) and I was told that confirmation and the voucher would follow by email.
Nothing arrived that evening and neither by the following morning when we were due to pick up the car @ 1pm
I emailed them and told them that I was waiting to go and collect
the car and I received an automated reply back from them confirming receipt of my email and saying that they would by in touch shortly.
I did not hear from them, so in the end having paid for two cars
I ended with none and so reverted to 'Rentalcars' to book a car and received the confirmation email within a split second for
the confirmed booking flashing up on my screen.
The Rentalcars vehicle in the end turned out to be cheaper then
what I had tried to book the second time through DoyouSpain.
So there was somewhat of a silver lining to the ordeal.
Never again will I book with Doyouspain, no matter how competitive they might be.
I now wonder how long it will be before i get my money back?

“Avoid using DoYouSpain for car hire in Alicante. They use a very rude & aggressive car hire firm called Drivalia which is located quite a distance away from Alicante airport along a very difficult to find dirt road ( very stressful trying to find the location when returning the vehicle as it’s not marked anywhere on sat nav) Drivalia reps are very rude & aggressive when we queried the fact we’d already paid insurance with DoYouSpain they said they didn’t care as it wasn’t their insurance- they tried to force us to pay an extra £160 pounds on top of the amount we’d already paid to DoYouSpain. They hold £1250 on a credit card & continually tell you that you’ll be charged for every little thing if you don’t take their insurance too, apparently £250 for a flat tyre callout! They were without doubt the worst car-hire bandits I’ve ever encountered, save yourself the trouble & use the recognised companies such as Avis,Hertz,Alamo,Enterprise etc that have their pickups & returns in the carpark attached to the terminal building”

I have given these people 1 Star because I cannot right a review without giving a star, they do not deserve any stars.
I booked a car through them online I paid them with my credit card, they supplied a prepaid voucher, when I get to Gatwick and hand over the prepaid voucher the hire Company Europcar would not except their voucher. and insisted that I had to pay again leaving me out of pocket by £££££
Mores the case I have sent them numerous emails along with messages through their internal system asking them to contact me to sort it out , They have ignored and not responded to any.
My advice is NOT TO USE THESE CROOKS !!!!!!”
“Please do not touch this company! I ended up paying more when I arrived than what I paid them! Soon as I arrived to pick up the car I was asked if this was the first time using this company and when I replied no, she explained the issues and all the hidden fine details! I ended after calling this company €320 short! Please pay that bit extra for less hassle!”
“Having paid my bill when booking car hire and insurance when I got to the airport I was told I had to pay an extra 150 euros. As I refused I was left without a car, out of pocket and having spent over 6 hours on emails, I am still out of pocket.
Do not book with this firm or Inter rent !!!!”
