Ive rented cars all over the world for 25 years and never had a problem....... until now. They have a tiny clause in the small print (I found out) whereby if you are 6 hours or more late they will not give you the car but will keep the money for the entire rental period. The pick time was set (without our knowledge) for 930 am, we were too late. They wouldn't budge but were happy to keep our money. Ive never heard anything like it, disgusting company, DO NOT USE THEM. After reading multiple review it seems we were lucky, people seem to have had far worse experiences.

DoyouSpain car hire is a scam. Keep away! They offer low prices to get your interest and then the rent a car company adds more and more hidden fees until the value becomes the double of what you would pay if you booked directly with them. You have to pay a fee for fuel even if you deliver the car with a full tank. I booked the car under my name and I only have a debit card, so they didn't accept it as a deposit. My credit card is in a joint account with my wife and her name is on the card, so, even presenting proof of this, it wasn't accepted. They also didn't accept the deposit in cash. I would have to pay an insurance of 120€ (for a 30€ rental) in order to be able to pay the deposit with our joint account. Also, they will hold the 1100€ deposit for 30 days, even if the car doesn't have a scratch. I honestly don't understand how these companies manage to operate in the E.U. I have rented cars all over the world and never had a problem. I end up being scammed right next door... I imagine all these 5 star reviews are fake and ordered from some online pay for review company. #DoyouScam

Paid for a vehicle to pick up at Carcassonne. Arrived only to be told by Enterprise that the only vehicle available was a huge transit van. We had to wait over two hours and pay extra until they could find us a suitable vehicle. No help from carjet/doyouspain when emailed to complain and ask for refund of the overpayment. Scammers, avoid at all costs. Hopefully they will cease trading soon and do the world a favour.

Arrived at Palma airport and was left stranded there at 1am with a young family. Managed to get a taxi to resort at 85 euro. Next morning they had the cheek to ask myself to go back to OK rentacar by bus. I agreed to take taxi after them confirming to reimburse the cost at 70 euro. In summary, here is what will happen with these clowns: 1. You will wait at least 30 minutes for them to answer a call 2. They will not call you back. 3. They will renege on any agreements 4. They will not respond to any emails So people, Please do not book with these amateurs. Pay the extra to avoid 3rd party brokers and go direct with a reputable firm. Avoid at all cost as I am now 155 euro worse off with little chance of recovery. Absolute shower of t4ats

Beware Scam Scam Scam Scam!!! Absolutely disgusted by this company DOYOUSPAIN.COM!!! I ordered and paid for a rental car to pick up today with FULL Insurance for 10 days at €173 all inclusive!!! Immediately the company took €173 from.my credit card When I arrived and waited 40 minutes to be served at valencia Airport I was told that in fact the car was Not fully insured and that I would have to pay a extra €269 and also €150 deposit incase I smoked in the car! (I'm a None smoker!!) Plus we had to pay a extra €100 for fuel Aaand that they wanted to freeze another €1200 on my credit card i case i had a accident what the actual Fu€k DOYOUSPAIN.COM really this is FAULSE ADVERTISING!!!!! I asked the lady behind the counter why this is happening and she said all day every day she gets yelled at by unhappy customers who book through DOYOUSPAIN.COM Maybe they should be called We.Will.Do.You.In.Spain.COM So today we left without a car so our holiday is ruined and they wont refund the €173 they STOLE from our credit card with there small print rules!!!!! I asked the lovely lady at Ok Rentals how many clients have to pay for damage and she said 95% and because you book though DoYouSpain.com if theres a claim for even the smallest scratch then we must pay for the damage then try to claim online through the online booking company After we cancelled the lady said at least 5 people a day at her office end up walking away without a car and still having to pay for the car and insurance because it's taken from your credit card and you have a zero change of getti g back the money and the risk is too high to not take out the extra insurance here in spain So in short we thought 10 days all inclusive was going to cost €173 but in fact it would have cost us €693 and a €1200 freeze on my credit card This is the worst experience weve had here in spain FU€K YOU doyouspain.com 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

DO NOT USE DOYOUSPAIN very unreliable they won't answer emails or phone we have been waiting for a refund since April 2020 todate August still no money. They are one of the most unhelpful companies we have ever used. We have used them for years 3/4 times a year and had no problem but when you have a problem they turn there backs on you. Will NEVER use them again. With everything that's going on you would like to think they would compromise with people. We had a refundable car hire our flight was cancelled and we managed to book a flight going out 3 days later but they won't answe the emails letting us know if the car we have paid €386 will be there when we get there or whether they will just turn round and say we have cancelled your car hire because you are three days late

Booked a car a few weeks prior to departure and 5 days before start of holiday all Flights were cancelled. I e-mailed do you Spain straight away informing them of the cancellation and requested a refund and got no response until after supposed start date of hire stating as hire period had commenced no refund would be issued. A one liner from someone called Clare Davis?? that was absolutely disgusting and nothing since despite e-mailing every day. I would strongly recommend that you do not use this disgrace of a company. Abysmal attitude during these very challenging times so please take notice and avoid do you Spain.

BE CAREFUL, Due to the current Covid-19 situation our flight was cancelled, contacted this company trying to just change the booking date and even offered to pay any extra charges for the changing and was denied straight way with no further explanations. Also asked for the possibility of a voucher and was denied has well. I HAVEN'T ASKED FOR ANY REFUND, just change of dates. Then I said to the lady on the phone that I was going to make a bad review of the company and she hang up on me straight away. AVIOD THEM!!!

⚠️ warning took my money did not provide the car. I booked and paid for a car through DYS from Firefly, I arrived at the firefly office at Malaga airport and was served by a very aggressive Lucia, when I did not want any of the extras she was trying to make me have she suddenly refused to rent me the car as she thought I was recording her, which I was not! She found it amusing and could see I was clearly upset, I was alone and stranded at Malaga airport but she still refused to rent me the car. I reported this to customer service to request a refund. Lucia is now lying about what happened to cover her own gross misconduct and I am still waiting for my refund. I reported them to the authorities and will be contacting the credit card company. Please please be warned do not use this branch I have never ever experienced such bad customer service. Do Not Use ⚠️

Went through them for car hire. They proper stitched me up. Wouldn't use them again. The car hire company told me my car wasn't available anymore because my flight was delayed 24 hours. When I called doyouspain they didn't really want to help me (I dealt with alfonso and natalia on the phone). They weren't the cheapest. You live and learn. Car hire cost me over £350 for 2 weeks when £200 was advertised

I had a bad experience with this company sometime ago, but as their prices are quite competitive on occasions i decided to give the another go. I booked a car with them for pick up from a company called Delpaso. We had to get a bus we where they were and it was like going to the back of beyond. When we arrived at the counter they asked me my name and then said that they were sorry but they could not supply the car to me as my account had been blocked !! It was like trying to get blood out of a stone from the guy on the desk as to what had gone on, but in the end I had to accept that they were not going to give me a car, possibly because they didn't have one, and I had to ask them to take us back to the airport. We then had to ring my daughter who lives some way away to come out and collect us, with our baby grand daughter in the back. As I had already paid them for the car that evening I tried again to book a car via their website. This time it was via a company called Firefly, who we have actually used before on several occasions and found to be very good. The reference to the booking was prefixed with PRE(normally DYS) and I was told that confirmation and the voucher would follow by email. Nothing arrived that evening and neither by the following morning when we were due to pick up the car @ 1pm I emailed them and told them that I was waiting to go and collect the car and I received an automated reply back from them confirming receipt of my email and saying that they would by in touch shortly. I did not hear from them, so in the end having paid for two cars I ended with none and so reverted to 'Rentalcars' to book a car and received the confirmation email within a split second for the confirmed booking flashing up on my screen. The Rentalcars vehicle in the end turned out to be cheaper then what I had tried to book the second time through DoyouSpain. So there was somewhat of a silver lining to the ordeal. Never again will I book with Doyouspain, no matter how competitive they might be. I now wonder how long it will be before i get my money back? You have been warned. Cheapest isn't always best Chris.
