“It’s now 2 years since I have tried to get a refund but I am not giving up. I booked a van through doyouspain to move furniture from Duquesa to los alcazares .I flew to Malaga with my son to make this move only to find they do not have vans .I clearly had a contract which they could not honour. Although they refunded me the cost of the non existent van I had at great expense had to employ a removal company which I could have done from home.I have tried to claim the cost of the removal company which I had to pay as a direct result of them breaking their contract. They say they need to see the contract and receipt which I do not have as the whole deal had to be done over the phone at the airport.I do have the details they sent me by text but they will not accept this”
“We rent a car for 6 days in Valencia and payed for the full insurance, at the airport we were forced to pay for another insurance otherwise we didn't get the car. So we had to pay more than we already did. Real scam!”
“Horrific experience where DYS are shying away from their responsibility. We booked a car from Malaga airport where DYS arranged for WiFi Rent a Car to pick us up and rent the car. One hour & 40 mins after the pick up time the tardy minibus arrived. After driving from the airport to the car depot we were ABANDONED whilst the driver took another couple back to the airport. DYS were informed 4 days ago & to date they have not responded.”
“I hired 2 cars through Doyouspain.com. I arrived in Alicante at 9pm. No cars were there for me. I phoned Doyouspain, only to be told the company ( Enterprise ) they had rented the cars through was closed and that I had to go and rent my own cars. This was a very expensive and stressful experience. I called Doyouspain twice and sent 3 emails. Whilst on the phone they admitted there was an issue, they have never responded to my emails or refunded my money.
I do understand that mistakes happen, however the subsequent shockingly bad customer service and lack of response is inexcusable. Never again!”
“My booked my wife a car from Alicante through Do You Spain, I paid upfront for the car and the Platinum insurance. The voucher came through for Goldcar. I read all of the insurance docs and quote from DYS " Goldcar will block £1400 of a credit card in your name but will ask for no money" My wife arrived at the Goldcar desk in Alicante and was told they do not recognise DYS insurance and Charged my wife £429.88. She showed them DYS insurance where it says you will not be charged. my wife was held to ransom "no pay no car". I have emailed the DYS contact page where you get a conformation and "someone will contact you" To date 2 weeks later no contact.
Absolute rip-off, customer services none existent. The website is very slick but totally misleading. We have a holiday home but will never use DYS again

After our flight, the driving licence of the main drive was lost. My partner has also a driving license, but it was not possible to change the maindrivers name to my partner. I had to make a new booking and my money is gone. I paid and never got the car! Very bad start of the holiday. Never book again with doyouspain.com and OK car rental IBiza”

“Do you Spain yes they will absolutely do you!!! Charged by do you Spain for car hire then when I got to Spain the car hire company insisted I leave a deposit. £360 this was not refunded to me on return of vehicle. Most expensive car hire I’ve ever had. Never again!!!!!!!!! Complained to Do You Spain they said I should have read the small print absolute cowboys.”

“Had to pay twice between the broker (doyouspain, when booking in advance online) and the car rental (goldcar, who seems to be aware the broker is a scam but doesnt seem to do anything about it). Doyouspain didn't answer when I contacted them to try to sort that out.”
