Ordered Somerset small double divan. The bed itself was very easy to put together although it doesn't come with instructions so you have to go with your common sense! The delivery service was prompt in that they did call when on the way. My only gripe which I have taken up with head office is that the courier drivers did not wear mask on delivering the item and it took for me to question this before he checked if had one in van! The bed is fine as a first bigger bed for teenager which is the case with us but you get what you pay for so don't expect amazing quality. If for adults looking for a really nice bed probably not. Material on the base is so thin and tightly pulled over the frame that it has frayed on the corner. The drawers are definitely not going to be strong enough to take much weight so again if that's what you want it for you will only be able to pack them with very light things otherwise will put too much strain on bottom. Having said this it's perfectly nice looking when it is put together and seems comfortable and I'm sure my son will be very happy with it

Terrible customer service. I ordered a blind which did not arrive. When I ordered it the 2nd time it did not arrive on time. When I wanted to return the blind because it was made very difficult to do this. When they did eventually arrange for it to be collected. They did not acknowledgement the return or refund. I had to chase the refund. Just painful. The online service is just awful.

I purchased a carpet in December. By July it had developed a fault. I emailed Dunelm customer services and got a very quick response. They arranged for the carpet to be collected on a certain date, which it was. As soon as it was returned they arranged for my refund which was in my account within five days. I cannot praise Dunelm’s customer services enough. They were extremely helpful and polite and dealt with my problem speedily. Thank you Dunelm.

I bought my bedroom curtains from dunelm about one year ago.Recently redecorated so took them to be dry cleaned in accordance with the label instructions . The dry cleaner phoned today to say that the curtains cannot be dry cleaned due to the backing on them , if I sponge them it will leave water Mark's and the backing will disintegrate if I try and wash them ! I am not happy at having to buy another pair of curtains.

Dunelm do not actually deserve any stars! Appalling company to deal with who could not care less about their customers. I purchased a bed base on the 30th June and was informed it would arrive by the 30th July. I repeatedly checked my tracking updates and the bed base was on track to be delivered by the 30th July. Mid morning on the day of the delivery, after I have had my old bed base removed to make room for the new one, I receive an email.... No phone call or text message but an email, who checks their emails every 5 minutes? So clearly no urgency from Dunelm to inform me that the bed base they had sold me a month earlier would not be arriving because it was out of stock!!! I am a wheelchair user who has been left with a mattress on the floor which due to my disability cannot possibly use so have now been forced to sleep on my sofa. Dunelm informed me they would issue a refund, how good of them to return my own money, but that it would take up to five days to process. So the money they had already held on to for a month on the pretence that they were in possession of the bed base I purchased was now going to take another 5 days to return to me. When I emailed the Cheif Executive of Dunelm to express my disgust and explain my situation with regard to my disability and not bed to sleep on I was offered a 20% discount. However, to obtain the discount Dunelm required me to purchase another bed base from them, wait another month for delivery (if your lucky enough for it to turn up) and then after it was delivery they would give me a discount! After explaining to the uneducated imbecile that made this offer that my disability did not allow me to sleep on a promise of a discount I politely refused their pathetic offer, an offer that I doubt very much would have ever materialised and if it did I am expected to sleep on my sofa until it does!! Dunelm were not at all concerned that they had caused me to be left without a bed to sleep in! Thankfully a local furniture company, after hearing about my situation, immediately pulled out all the stops and arranged for a temporary bed to be delivered to me the next day until they can get me the bed base I want.... Now that is customer service! Dunelm will never see a penny of my money again and I will advise anyone to do the same.

Do not order online - service is terrible/non existent and either you will wait months for your goods or never receive them at all. However they are very swift at taking money out of your account for goods you might never receive. Paid for goods over a month ago and still waiting. Day light robbery comes to mind! BEWARE......

My recommendation is not to order anything online as Dunelm's systems are chaos. I had to cancel recent order after waiting over a month. Their help centre has no idea what it going on with regards to deliveries etc. They just tell you a load of standard rubbish and try to blame it on Covid. They should never have taken orders in the 1st instance if they knew it would take months to deliver, with their help desk providing incorrect information. They also want a month to refund monies…. why so long a time period to refund….. O well!!! Competitor of theirs is now delivering same tomorrow after 1 day’s wait

Ordered an IVORY coloured wardrobe. Received a GREY wardrobe. Have sent three emails without a word in response. Got to keep the wardrobe as i desperately needed storage. But a word of apology would have been nice. Very poor customer service just ignoring customers. Very quick to take my money though surprise surprise. Never use them again

Ordered two pairs of curtains for delivery, four days later gout an email saying one pair not in stock and promise refund, emailed them ( as phone lines not working) 1 July , telling them when ordering two pairs of curtains clearly the rest of the order was no use,no reply. emailed again 2 July stronger wording, no reply, 3 July got email saying goods on the way with yodel, no tracking number so could not put off. Sent a very strong emails saying I was going to charge them for having my money, got snotty reply at last, no apology and saying money would be returned in 28 days, sent another strong email and got another reply saying money in five days/ Reading other reviews stock control is Forest Gump Level, Customer Care Basil Fawlty Level and Efficiency Noddy and Big Ears. My opinion is if you need something go elsewhere, if you want customer service go elsewhere, In general Go Elsewhere. You cant blame this on Covid or anything else, if they cant trade properly don't trade. We are a week on and no further on thanks to these Clowns

An order was placed with Dunelm almost a month ago for a small table, and Dunelm then sent an email saying they couldn’t supply it and will return our money. Why it took a month to realise they couldn’t supply it is a mystery

I recently ordered a pair of curtains to match bedding I had bought from dunelm. When they came they were made extremely shoddy. The linings were all puckered & if I ironed the curtains the lining were out of line & so I tried ironing the linings & that put the curtains out of line. As they have now closed due to the virus I went on line & they are sold out. I had no alternative but to get them put right myself . The lady that did them said they were an absolute disgrace. These were obviously never checked. Disgraceful dunelm !!!!!

Re: Made to Measure Curtians & off the shelf curtains. We had an issue with one of the sets of made to measure curtains & Robert Rees Wall "Made to Measure Consultant" Blackpool Store" (Squires Gate Lane, Blackpool) was fantastic & extremly helpful & professional in dealing with us from start to finish. On a score of 1 to 10 then if we could have given Robert 11 then we would have done. Many Thanks Again.

Poor service with altering 3 sets curtains as they advised that they will be ready within 2-3 weeks. I am still waiting after 3 weeks on confirmation from Dunelm as to when they will be available.

Good prices/quality but delivery was very poor. After ordering 8 days ago my delivery arrived but 4 of the 5 items are missing! No indication on website as to why. Called them, it connects but get voice saying Sorry, number unavailable.

Bought 2 items of furniture in December after constant lies from customer services it was finally delivered Damaged In February. Last conversation with Customer services I was told "we COULD receive it on the 17th April" NEVER AGAIN Mrs E Gould Kent

I wanted some new curtains but I wanted a specific shade of teal, not shiny, not dull, warm and vibrant and they had exactly what I wanted and the six large sizes I wanted! They were in the 20% sale after Christmas and that made them even better value. I ordered on line and picked them up before the 3 hours waiting gap forecast. Very impressive!

Wish I could give zero!! Appalling! You cannot spend gift cards online beware! You also cannot order item into store to use your gift card on. Only way is to pay cash , get it delivered home, take it to the store, get it refunded and rebuy it on a gift card! Unbelievable!!

Faulty goods not exchanged after matress toper was professionally cleaned to exact label and quitting matted and report supplied the store nor customer services would exchange, offered £40 which is at least much less to replace the.item which.cost over £100 very disappointed and.will not shop there again

it used to be nice going for a coffee at the wakefield branch till your stood in the queue and colleagues are slating other colleagues to the bone and it makes it worse when its your family member totally unprofessional and i wont i be returning
