“I would highly recommend an Eagle-Eye Tour. Our small trip to SW England "Birds and Gardens" ran anyway, despite the 3 of us and one guide. This is a tribute to Cam and Kerstin. Pre trip question availability was always there. Our young English Tour Guide was consistent, enthusiastic, able to deal- with humor and kindness- to guiding 3 women day after day- long days with wonderfully good weather- seeing 8 magnificent gardens and 140 bird species. Well done all of you!”
“This trip was one of my best so far. My Arctic trip was well-organized, and I had all the information I needed, with a lot of extras. Communications were easy and prompt. It was easy to get insurance quotes. My questions were answered right away. I will definitely travel with Eagle-Eye again.”
“I've been to Hawaii, Trinidad/Tobago, Cuba, Point Pele, and many other places with Eagle-Eye Tours, and they are always good. The organization of the tour is tight, the guides know their stuff, everything works. It's aimed at mid-range birders, not twitchers and not newbies, although these always show up and they are accommodated, very well. The guides offer more than most people want (or have the stamina for), such as pre-dawn bird walks, full days, and owling/night walks. Obviously you do what you want. The only downside, as of all tours, is occasionally another guest can be a problem. I've only had that once, and it got dealt with appropriately.”
“It is not easy to offer a comfortable, safe trip to the flow edge on Baffin Inlet but Eagle-Eye did a fantastic job of putting me in the right place to see narwhal, polar bear, bowhead whale and all the other exciting wildlife.”
“My wife and I have been birding with Eagle-Eye for almost ten years, visiting several countries in Central and South America, and southern India and Sri Lanka, and will be returning to Costa Rica this February. We have come to know several of their guides, and they are all professional and helpful. I have problems with my vision, and they are invariably patient with me while I try toI locate the bird. They know the birds well, and usually employ local guides as well as their own. We will continue to travel with them as long as we can.”
“Guides, accommodations, and meals all excellent. Daily itineraries chosen to find the most birds as well as those that take the most local knowledge.”
“Personal help all the way through. The tour we went on was perfectly suited to us,and our guide Alex Lamoreaux was superb.I would recommend this company to anyone.”
“Great birding trip with a good mixture of walking and traveling most days. Guides were knowledgeable and there were extras like a Great Barrier Reef boat trip with snorkeling. I like that the company offsets its carbon footprint. Highly recommend Eagle Eye.”
“Everything about the Costa Rica Sampler trip was outstanding. Our guides Ernesto and Paz were excellent. They shared in-depth knowledge about not only the birds and plants but also the history and culture of the country. Accommodations and food were wonderful everywhere we stayed. The itinerary was well planned, enabling us to visit many different habitats. Highly recommended!”
“This was a great trip. The guides, Ernesto and Lev, were very knowledgeable and professional. I'm giving this trip a 5 star rating because of the abundance of wonderful birds we saw and for the tenacity with which the guides sought them out. I did not like the Paraiso Quetzal Lodge in the cloud forest. The weather in the cloud forest is rainy and cold and our room was a long way from the main lodge itself, down a steep hill. Also, the rooms are not heated (there is a very small space heater in each, but it is not enough to make the stay anyway near enjoyable). Everyone wants to see the Resplendent Quetzal, and seeing one here is almost guaranteed, so that's why this location was chosen.”
“First, New Brunswick’s weather in August is perfect. The guides are excellent, food great, pelagic excursion magic, and Canadians are exactly as billed. Good birds! We want to go back.”
“Stunning land with such enigmatic and storied creatures. The vastness was overwhelming. Guide was fun, compelling, flexible and knowledgeable or found information if he didn't know it. A bit bird heavy for the non-birder, but always photographic opportunities. Would have liked a bit more trekking or exploring by foot, but that may not have been for everyone. My second trip with Eagle-Eye. Both fantastic. Looking forward to a third.”
“Hard working and extremely knowledgeable guides made for an excellent trip. The days were long but we saw beautiful parts of BC and it was all well organized.”
“Eagle Eye is the top tour for Canada by Canadians. The back office support is timely and caring. The guides are expert and want to get everyone on the birds, even the toughest ones.”
“This was my second trip with Adventure Canada. I have come to understand that these voyages are not "cruises" in the usual sense but opportunities to see areas that generally are not seen by other travelers. Living in Florida as I do, I am hard pressed to describe my trip to friends because there is so little here that can be used to make comparisons: no mountains, no waterfalls, no wildness, no ice bergs, and very few areas where humans are not a part of the landscape. These are things I have valued in these trips. I also have valued the concern with cultural differences. I will make another trip, I am confident.”
“the people working in the head office are very efficient, doing their best to answer queries and solve problems, often the same day. the two guides I met were great : organizing things, very attentive to people's needs, and very knowledgeable about so many things: birds of course, animals, insects, geology... I learnt a lot about Canada with them. their catalogue is just fabulous and makes one dream; the difficult thing is choosing a tour. I would definitely join tours with them again, hopefully 2 in 2017.”
