“Eagle Eye is the top tour for Canada by Canadians. The back office support is timely and caring. The guides are expert and want to get everyone on the birds, even the toughest ones.”
“This was my second trip with Adventure Canada. I have come to understand that these voyages are not "cruises" in the usual sense but opportunities to see areas that generally are not seen by other travelers. Living in Florida as I do, I am hard pressed to describe my trip to friends because there is so little here that can be used to make comparisons: no mountains, no waterfalls, no wildness, no ice bergs, and very few areas where humans are not a part of the landscape. These are things I have valued in these trips. I also have valued the concern with cultural differences. I will make another trip, I am confident.”
“the people working in the head office are very efficient, doing their best to answer queries and solve problems, often the same day. the two guides I met were great : organizing things, very attentive to people's needs, and very knowledgeable about so many things: birds of course, animals, insects, geology... I learnt a lot about Canada with them. their catalogue is just fabulous and makes one dream; the difficult thing is choosing a tour. I would definitely join tours with them again, hopefully 2 in 2017.”
“Communications with Celine were so helpful and clear. Celine made our trip preparations much easier. Our guides, Ken and Blair, were excellent “birders.” We learned so much about the birds and nature in the Arctic and northern Canada.”
“So many new birds! The locations are stunning. Being from Nova Scotia, the Western region is a place that needed exploring. Eagle Eye tours offers an affordable way of traveling the globe while searching for birds”
“I've done two birdwatching trips with this company, to Newfoundland and Peninsular Malaysia, both of which were new locations for me as far as birding is concerned. I'd thoroughly recommend them. In both cases the trips were well planned, the support from the office staff was good throughout the booking process, the itineraries were interesting, and the guides excellent. Some companies' birding tours can be a gruelling experience; as far as I'm concerned, Eagle-Eye gets the balance right.”
“Great tour with a small, congenial group. Chris Burney, our guide, went out of his way to make sure we saw the birds we sought. Traveling with people who were respectful of one another and those around us was a pleasure. Puerto Rico is a beautiful place and Puerto Ricans are welcoming people, even as they recover from natural disasters.”
“An amazing tour. Our guides were exceptional and super keen to find birds. Every spot was wonderful for flora and fauna. Lots of pictures were taken and many lifer birds added to my list.”
“My South Texas birding adventure was everything I thought it would be and more. Skyy and Adam were fantastic guides, very knowledgeable and helpful, the accommodations were first class, and I came home with so many great memories. Ellen Popkie”
“Well organized, excellent guide (Adam Walleyn). Helpful local guides. The fact that the trip was organized in a small group (8 people) made it very special. Truly unforgettable..”
“Costa Rica is a gorgeous country. This tour covered different areas so we saw a huge variety of birds and vegetation. Our guides, JP and Benny, were exceptional with encyclopedic knowledge of birds and bird songs. Ricardo, our driver, was very helpful and lots of fun.”
“The narwhal and polar bear trip was great. The place was stunning and the guides looked after us well. A few minor gripes but nothing considering we were camping on an ice flow off northern Baffin Island.”
“What a great tour we had. Thank you so much. All went according to plan, and the birding was spectacular. At times it was hard to keep one's head tilted up observing the birds. The accommodations were wonderful, some more rustic than others. Loved the garden and parklike setting of the Bougainvillea, and the grounds of La Quinta De Sarapiqui, and of the Arenal Observatory Lodge. What wonderful, exciting bird and wildlife places. The Paraiso Quetzal Lodge was an adventure in itself, as it was quite cool there and with 4 blankets on the bed it was difficult to move around. The room was just not built for cool air that seeped up through the boards and blew under the door. But it was all part of the adventure in the mountains. And we saw the Resplendent Quetzal the one morning. Ernesto just knew everything about birds, and the flora and fauna, and at times he was a bit humorous. He was superb. And Steve was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about everything and very friendly. He was super too. Hard to believe that they know the birds by size, shape, colour and song so well. Would recommend this tour.”
“Birding in Trinidad - nothing to complain about. Excellent arrangements, leadership. Large amount of enthusiasm, ensured that all participant received quality care Ernesto is an outstanding leader.”
“Our personal experience with Eagle-Eye tours was great! Communication from the inquiry stage to the actual tour commencing was excellent! Office staff was very knowledgeable and respond time was quick. They put together a well-planned tour that exceeded our expectations! Will DEFINATELY travel with them again!”
“In exotic locations, the combination of Eagle-Eye's professional guides and local, in-country expertise pays off in immensely successful and enjoyable tours.”
“Eagle Eye Tours have prepared an extraordinary trip to Alaska. Three locations covered all habitats for Northern and Arctic birds. The guides were excellent, helpful and always available.”
