Needless to say the staff, accommodations and food were excellent on this Adventure Canada tour of Scottish islands. The weather was fantastic for Scotland, though I'm not sure that Adventure Canada had much to do with that. I really appreciated the attention and planning of the Captain and management. When winds portended a rough landing, they arranged alternative visits. They also went out of their way to arrange a trip to Scara Brae. Without exception, the staff were knowledgeable in their fields (geology, botany, ornithology, marine life and photography) and were articulate in their presentations. Very highly recommended.

The tour was well organized with excellent food and accommodations with first rate guides and a comfortable bus with an excellent driver. We covered every altitude from Crocodile infested mangroves through middle altitudes of rainforest to dryer rain shadows and up to the highest forests in central Costa rica.Covering all Costa Rican ecosystems gave us exposure to the maximum amount of birds. We counted well over 300 species, our guide was remarkable at finding and Identifying birds as well as the fauna and plants.I would certainly recommend this tour to anyone seriously interested in birding.

As a solo traveller, I was made to feel welcome and enjoyed the shared experiences of fellow travellers. It was great to be active in the field, different habitats each day and the weather cooperated too! Be prepared for mosquitos in some areas...bird food! Our leader Kyle kept an even pace and we saw lots of birds, many new to us all!

This trip was extremely well planned to locations which provide excellent birding and great adventures. Ernesto and Paz are extraordinary guides. They are amazing naturalists and superb birders who are thoughtful, patient and attentive to everyone in the group. Their daily planning and care make this trip both comfortable and smooth for all participants. Therefore our birding experiences were fabulous and each day was rewarding personally and culturally.

Great service on all fronts. Exceptional team effort and fantastic daily excursions. The Adventure Canada team is like a family and we were adopted into it whole heartedly. The ship’s crew from seamen to captain, including galley staff, wait staff and stewards very proficient… finest kind.

This was a wonderful tour with ernesto and Jared. With so many people, it was great to have two very knowledgeable guides. Both were very patient - making sure everyone saw the targeted birds. I loved exploring the ruins, the boat tour and hiking. Thank you.

In early May, I travelled with Eagle-Eye on a birding trip to Point Pelee National Park,Rondeau Provincial Park, and Long Point. One of the many highlights was a day trip by boat to the banding station at the tip of Long Point. Even though the guides had to contend with a van that broke down part way through the trip, they were always cheerful. Their knowledge of the birds was amazing. I would highly recommend this trip. J. Great guide who was an expert on all the birds of southern Mexico and where to find them, perfect logistics and accommodations, and fantastic introduction to every habitat of all 4 states visited. We saw 353 species of birds and travelled about 2800 km. Highly recommended!

I went on the 2016 "Into the NorthWest Passage" trip. All pre-trip organising by Eagle-Eye Tours was smooth and efficient, with the friendliest of staff. As Eagle Eye Tours is a small family-run company, I felt like I was part of them when we were on the Ocean Adventure ship. Eagle-Eye owners, with their children, were in the zodiac with me when we were surrounded by 50 belugas! A once in a lifetime experience!

We had a wonderful, relaxed tour that allowed us to see all the birds (and there were a lot!) while also enjoying the scenery of the places we visited.

I have had two major trips arranged for me by Eagle-Eye Tours. Both times the service has been superb. Any questions sent by e-mail are always answered within 24 hours. Telephone contact is easy, too. Information sent is everything needed to make the trip easy.

Our Iguazu Falls and Patagonia tour Eagle-Eye Tours was an excellent experience and more than exceeded our expectations. However, we did have some concerns with several accommodations, quality of the food and vans used for transport. While the room and grounds at Iguazu Falls were spacious and quite comfortable, for us the dinners were almost to the point of being inedible. Furthermore, our room at Torres del Paine National Park was sadly lacking. We had no hot water or water pressure for three days. As well the dinners were cold and one dinner in particular was not thoroughly cooked. Several of the vans used for transport had unsafe, bald tires, rear brakes that were metal-on-metal and one did not have a working speedometer. The step into the vans was unusually high, making entering and exiting challenging. We were promised a step, but ti did not materialize. We do realize that we were traveling in third world countries, and do not expect 4 or 5 star accommodations. But we do appreciate a hot shower and edible food. We hope that these issues will be taken into consideration for future trips.

Had a great time as a beginner birder and already thinking about another trip. Eagle Eye provided very helpful pre trip guidelines and checklist. Our guide Kyle was fantastic, very knowledgeable, always trying to make sure we all had a good time, very thoughtful about keeping me well fed as a vegan with the poor options in Texas. Saw loads of new and exciting birds and learned a lot about how to find them. I thought we moved at a good pace but I was also glad that it wasn't a problem to wander a little further from the group every once in a while. Would warn future trippers about the demonic mosquitoes on the Texan coast.
