"My first five string banjo although in a previous life I played a shortscale Irish tenor banjo for a while. The Old Tyme Wonder appears to be well made and is pleasing to the eye. The banjo is also reasonably light. The Planetary tuners appear to facilitate accurate tuning and the banjo seems to stay in tune. It will probably be a while before I achieve a good sound but hopefully the banjo will do nicely for accompanying myself when singing as an alternative to the acoustic guitar or ukulele."

"The banjo was well setup when delivered. It is not too heavy and sits nicely on my knee. The frets are well polished and the ends are very tidy. I've add some lemon oil to the fret board and it's now lovely to look at and very playable."
