“Wanted to return a item so called easylife and paid £5 for return delivery and collection.
Was promised prepaid return label would be posted which never turned up.
Called again and asked them to send email with label so I could print it myself and arranged a 2nd collection date but the label they emailed me had collection date that had expired 2 months previously !!!
Arranged ANOTHER COLLECTION DATE WAITED IN ALL DAY AND NO ONE CAME TO COLLECT MY PARCEL”
“Just sell the goods & accept not everyone wants the Rewards qimmick scheme!!!! or repetitive calls or worse still taking extra money from the customer!
Trading standards etc will be informed!”
“Disgusting disregard by this company of multiple requests to stop calling.
They are plainly in breach of their obligations to my privacy. I will be taking their ignoring my requests to stop calling further.”
“Absolute shambles of a company. I bought a one off item for a friend a couple of years ago and have asked on countless occasions to be taken off the mailing list and to cease telephone sales calls which are becoming a nuisance! But I am still getting calls on regular basis so my requests have been totally ignored,”
“Just had a tearful call from my dad. They signed him up to a 'rewards club', he neither needs nor wants.
This isn't even a case of accidentally ticking a wrong box-the item he actually wanted to buy was ordered and paid for over the phone. The person who took that order must have signed him up.
He rang them and they said they would cancel. Now they've taken £18.50 from his bank. I'm going to try to sort this out for him, but will probably come up against the 'we can't talk about this with you because of data protection rules'. I'm not going to give up though. Judging by how many reviews here are here that say the same, this isn't a mistake, this is a strategy. No one hurts my 82 Yr old dad and gets away with it! Look out you scheming ****s. You messed with the wrong 82yr old`s family.”
“I have been scammed by your company now for £17.99 august 20 sept 20 and oct 20 for god knows what I didnt get and now again October 21 yet another £17.99. Apparently for some puzzle books I neither ordered or want.”
“They called me for distributorship... Deposit amt told rs25000 and above... I agreed for trial basis rs5000. Over phone their marketting persons called and accepted my request and issued distributorship certificate and then given more pressurized to me pay immediately. I done but google pay little bit delayed. "Now is the climax came". Again they pressurized to pay rs5000 otherwise cannot send materials to delivery. Still i will not and inform to cancel my distributorship and refund the money. Still not return money. So their motto is collect the money. Not maintaining any own policy and manners. I have doubt about this. So enquire proper and go forward if u want to do any business with easylife pls.”
“The biggest bunch of harrassers I've ever come across. I've dealt with double glazing companies, insurers, energy providers and car dealers, Easylife are by far the worst of the lot.
I have been called by 9 different phone numbers at least once a day , often twice, since I was stupid enough to place an order with them. I have blocked yet another phone number of theirs today and fully expect a new number to try calling me tomorrow.
Icm younger and less vulnerable than their target audience. I've read some horrendous reviews of unauthorised debits and conning pensioners into subscriptions they don't need or want.
Avoid these crooks please.”
“This company likes taking money out of your account for products/services you have not ordered!!This is the second time I have had to phone up and ask for a refund for a 'promotion/ product we apparently subscribed to' but hadn't. They are either inept or deliberately doing this, and judging by the many reviews left by customers regarding the same problem they have I can only highly recommend you don't buy from this company...they will only treat you the same way as many many other customers and take your money for no service or product time and time again!!!...DREADFUL COMPANY!!!!!!!”
“Bought something for my grandma over the phone & without any consent were then charging her £18.50 a month including another £74.50 for a rewards club & other promotions. Even worse were sometimes charging her twice both in mine & her name. Hounded with sales calls whom also specifically told me she wasn’t signed up to any promotions & when asked to be taken off the mailing list also they still continued to call me. Never been so disgusted with a company. Highly recommend you not to buy from here & if you do check your bank statements following a he months.”
“Horrible horrible people, targeting the elderly, the telesales people get paid bonus for this too. Disgusting.
Gareth runs the company, give him a piece if your mind.”
“Same as everyone else. However, they were prompt to pay when I invoiced them for time and inconvenience - see attachments if you want to do something similar.”
“Ordered a bird box over 12 months ago and have been hounded with cold calls from them 2-3 times a week since then. I've even told them to remove me from their system they say "certainly we won't bother you again" then they call within days. Absolute Nuisance!!!!!”
“After placing a order with them some time later Easylife took money without my authority if you have bought from them you need fo check your bank account to see if any future payments have been taken BEWARE..of phone calls asking you to join their clubs
This seems to be a common practice many people having same issue”
“I am a pensioner and easylife conned me out of £70 I can I’ll afford this on my pension this has caused me undue stress I have a heart condition and it is affecting me I phoned up to cancel the gardening club when I don’t even have a garden I am waiting for a refund until I get that I am under duress this is a terrible way to treat people”
“What a waste of money. We bought 2 Aqua Rugs. They have been absolutely useless - covered in mould very quickly. Certainly not worth the £40 we paid. We have carefully washed as recommended to no avail. Don't buy them - we have had to purchase elsewhere.”
“Purchased one item and since then been harassed by calls from them, they then against my will sent me a reward card and tried to take £70 from my account. Disgusting company”
