My elderly mum ordered 2 items from easylife and they have now shared her bank details without her consent to a rogue sister company of theirs called the Rewards club - they have just taken a payment of £49 out of her bank account!! I have just reported it as fraud!! Why are these companies being allowed to get away with this … it is fraud and duping money out of the elderly… this needs to go to watchdog.

Despite being fined £1.5million Easylife are still scamming elderly people. My mother purchased one item from a catalogue by phone and then finds she is paying £18.50 per month for a subscription she never asked for (and never received anything). Had to cancel her credit card to stop the payments. Easy Rip-Off!

Easylife took money from my account when I phoned them they denied it basically calling me a liar. They are complete liars and know what they are doing.

Easylife took almost £400 from my elderly mother's bank account after she bought something from their catalogue. They claim she subscribed to some lifestyle magazines but she did not. Luckily she checks her bank statement and she has all her faculties. Looking at the dozens and dozens of similar customer complaints on line, this seems to be their modus operandi. They pretend to be affiliated to Easyjet (which they are not) they use customer data illegally, and they target the elderly and take money from them that they didn't agree to. It looks like they just about staying in business by refunding when they absolutely have to, but they are predators. Anyone who works for them should be ashamed of themselves and know that a good proportion of their income comes from swindled old people.

This company hacks scammed my 91year old grandmother. Sending her books she hasn’t ordered and debiting her bank account, they then lied to her and said they had not charged her. They need to be investigated.

Please avoid the temptation to buy anything from these people. They will keep your bank details & then unlawfully take money from your credit card in the hope that you don't notice it on your statement.... They are scam artists who should be investigated by trading standards.

My Dad recently passed away, and it was then that I noticed that easy life have been taking £18.50 from his account, and seems to be ongoing for quite a while. My Dad has been on palliative for the last 12 months, and terminal even longer. He was never on a position to make any agreement or subscription to any club. Looks like they prey on the elderly and vulnerable, When I rang they were rude, hard to understand, and damn right obstructive. They were wanting proof of Dads passing, definitely will not be giving them that when they seem to have been fined previously for data protection issues. So Angry that someone can ring him in his lovely home and robbed him.

My brother was another customer who was signed up to some club or other without his knowledge or permission- this company scammed around £200 from his account before he realised it (he has learning difficulties/autism - I (his sister) have helped him with his finances since Mum, who always looked after him, was killed in a road incident, but he looks after his own bank account so he has some independence- I may have to stop allowing him this now). They have only refunded one payment of £18.50, despite promising to refund 6 months worth and despite my demanding full refund. How are they getting away with this despicable behaviour???

I have been scammed out seventy nine pounds for supposedly giving permission to join their Wellbeing Club. I have signed nothing! It is worrying that they have access to my bank details. Going to the bank today to block any further transactions from them. I rang Easylife and was told the payment was for a renewal of my subscription. A renewal? To something I knew nothing about. I want a transcript of a supposed phone call! I agreed to nothing and the onus should not be on a customer to cancel a proposal. They have agreed a refund.

Once again this scam company has taken payment for a subscription I neither wanted nor signed for! Holding my personal information for 6 months without my consent or knowledge is a breach GDPR, using them is theft!!! To top it all, their customer "service" agent was loud, rude and arrogant!! Customer service my @rse!!! Unscrupulous business model! AVOID!

Pack of cbd patches arrived 17 Jan 24 via courier addressed to deceased father (passed June 2023). Delivery note total £46.93 but does not state paid or how payment made. Mother in residential home so not ordered nor have we! Rang to query and unhelpful staff, bordering on rude, telling us to ring a Nottingham dept, leave msg and they ring back; 4 calls and no call back - no surprised there. Emails back and forth with 4 different easylife customer service (maybe they are chat bots!) without any resolution and will not confirm why/how this order has been made and sent to a deceased person or if they have taken payment. Thankfully mother didn't recieve and have the worry and upsetting package. Perhaps they have father's details if ordered previously from easylife and send items to pressure elderly into paying up? If this is the case its despicable. We are checking bank accounts to ensure easylife have not taken money without permission....they may struggle as father's accounts now closed! If I could have option of no star rating I would. We can only assume this is a scam.

Scam company. My late wife was conned into this. I phoned up and cancelled in 2022 and the magazines stopped coming. Now I have been charged another £18.50. This is fraud and I will report it to my bank

My Nan is 90. Despite assuring my Nan that their magazine wouldn't cost her anything, we then find that they are charging her every month to receive it. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Bought a couple of plug in heaters from them, like you would from Amazon. 3 months later I have a charge on my card for £18.50. I was absolutely furious. When I rang them they told me it was for some annual membership to their club. I told them that I didn't agree to sign up to their stupid tufty club and what they done was fraud. To be fair, they did refund me straight away. But even so, I could have missed seeing that charge on my card and they could have got away with it.

Just found similar problems as everyone else on this page on my 92 year old mums bank account. In total they have taken £185 in amounts of £18.50 since July 23, sometimes twice a month. When I eventually got through they said this was for a subscription, for what I still do not understand. Sadly my mum has the start of dementia and does not know anything about this. Luckily I now have POA and her bank have been extremely helpful and put a stop on these recurring card debits. She used to order things from this company but not for a long time so they have kept her bank details and tricked her somehow into subscribing to this mystery thing. She doesn’t receive anything, so I’m still totally in the dark about this subscription. How dare they, when their easy life catalogue is aimed at the elderly in the first place. I have told them we have stopped any future payments and that we are expecting a full refund. Any buyers looking at easy life beware, they will rob you after your initial purchase

Easylife seem to be a scam outfit. I can’t seem to find a place to put a review on their website so I’ll put it on here. As a partially deaf person I feel I was duped into joining subscriptions. I never got to the bottom of it but my bank managed to recover around £200 of money which I regard as stolen. I did not realise that they were taking regular unauthorised amounts on my credit card without my authority. Seems to have been going on for a few years. I’m 92 years and didn’t realise until my daughter looked into it. Looking at other reviews, it appears they target the vulnerable. Don’t use this rogue company is my advice.
